Answering your points: Defoe's handball had a glimpse of accidental on it as he was slightly nudged just before the contact (very slightly) and also it was very close to the shoulder so difficult for the ref to call.

Whereas, Henry's handball, the ball was going out, he used his hand (twice), it threw everyone off.

And yes, you're right about one thing, if this happened at the end, it would have been just as bad if it knocked a team out of CL. However, I really don't think in light of the final score and performance that Defoe shuold be called a cheat because the ball landed on his arm as it was out but he didn't swing his arm or hand in the direction of the ball to bring it in.

Let's not forget the murder Man Utd get away with like the ball being a full yard over the line when Mendez shoots from the half way line. Keeper knew it, the birds flying in the sky knew it but the ref did not have a view and the linesman probably looked away when the ball landed in the 'cheating(?)' keeper's hands before he dropped it.

I have reffed matches before and trust me, handballs are VERY difficult to judge because it happens in an instant and a tiny wrong angle and you can get it wrong.

I hate cheaters and I hate goals from cheating but I don't know, maybe it's just me but I don't see this as a cheat, he blatantly stopped and looked at the linesman too but if it wasn't given, what's he to do?? I would love to see a Di Canio move and stop there n then sayin "I hanballed it" but I really don't think refs can be blamed. We need video replay support like in cricket and other sports..
