balotelli is stupid
I love Swansea.. brings some fresh air to BPL :)
Where do you need to go to get the full highlights from MoTD?
the only person to blame for this loss mancini.. he a good coach but sometimes i really wonder...
I love you Swansea!
Personally to solosilver and maybe theatreofdreams ( if u can understand what i wrote down here) cuz since we city fans are all "shallow" :

Nice to hear from a fellow Malaysian/probably sporean. but apart from that. just wanna point out a few:

firstly, united has history. united has previous glories and trophies to look back upon. these give them psychological boost. Hence, with the combination of youth and stars, u get a balance team. City on the other hand has nothing to offer. City plays 2nd div football in 1999. crawling back to premier league isn't easy. what's more to fight and stay. Do u think without the injection of money, City will be where they are ? i can assure u no.

2ndly, United is biggest elite team in England, has one of the strongest fan base all over the world including south east asia ( ure a malaysian/sporean, im sure u'll agree to that). Tv broadcasting rights, merchandise, sponsorships even with Mr Potato !, advertisements on United. All these are revenues and are rolled into income. Without money, City will never appear on the map. City's fan base will only be within the city of manchester , and just relying on small sponsorships and small ticket collections. How is that to cover club's turn overs and to compete with the giants. answer is no.

3rdly. u talk about young players. Everton produced Rooney. Young started in Watford, shined in Villa. Ronaldo produced by Sporting, Jones from blackburn, and the lists go on. i know ure gonna say United shaped them up better. Of course, u play for one of the biggest club in the world. and u have CL football. Great Coach. but my point will be, if city have got no money, hence City do not have stars playing alongside them, city will not be able to play CL, do u think players like Richards will stay? Hart who was a nobody from Shewsbury proved that he has great GK-ing tallent, and eventually being swooped by bigger teams. SWP was City's gem and chelsea took him. How will a small club able to hold on to their players ? No. Bigger teams will always win.

4th. ure saying why not bring young starlets up and play. i would say it is not the right time, at the moment. City will try to cement a place in the top 4, which they did last season. Try to win something this season, get the first 11 right, try to build and inject a little confidence in the whole team, before introducing the youth.
SAF has winning mentality in the squad. look what they achieved in the past 20 years. Wenger was there too with arsenal for 10 years. when u step in to such Club, ur confidence, psychologically, mentally n physically is different. but when u look at city, u have to look back to 1937. There is nothing in city. that is why it is so hard to get that boost of confidence in the city team.
SAF and Wenger can afford to gamble because the board of directors put them ahead in everything.
Mancini do not have such privilege. If city gambles and couldn't play CL next season, City will have huge set back. and i hope u know, winning a CL and "able to play in CL" is a different thing. Wnger will agree to that.

the thing is u guys just look at the surface, look at what the media has to report, look at tevez's badly taken pictures on the net.

TL:DR , you damn free? Write so much bull$hit!?
Haha . to be honest , lately im pretty free but i rarely spent this much time here. Just these 2 days. Because of ppl like u who thinks wats up there are bullshit.
want to hear another bullshit? inter milan

finally a knowledgeable city fan to speak up for the minority of manchester

CTWD
I can't believe I read through all that just find out there wasn't any point to your, for lack of a better word, rant. You need to work on your language/writing skills, brother.
+1
Danialazmi : simply one word. Ignorant. typical of a malaysian Manchester United fan.

If u think those are just "ranting" as u claim and there wasn't any point, ur footballing sense would be just as simple as holding a tub of Mr potato and say "potato boleh".

and i don't find any wrong with my language. i feel it's pretty understandable. im here as a football fan, not an english teacher.
Awesome possession by the swans. Great display of purpose and determination.
After all they are the Barcelona of Wales! Love the football of this team.
mancity sucks manutd all the way baby

What team do you support ....CD Chivas de Guadalajara...s**t never heard of them.
@Miks1986 i wouldn't expect you to.. Where do you think Chicharito come from? United's youth?? don't make me laugh

@Miks1968
Well, I guess your ignorance caught up to you, at last.
@Miks1968 just a little intro...

Regardless of it being an exhibition match, I don't think barcelona has had a defeat like this since Guardiola had taken command.
dudes, my little brother hacked my footytube account, however, man utd all the way. taught him well
lawls.
well played Swansea. I have not closely followed PL football before this year but I am proud to see a smaller team like this stepping up and beating one of the leaders!
Outplayed, outsmarted, outclassed.

it was all HA HA HA! when Arsenal lost 3-2 to these guys, but who's laughing now? :D

If you guys say money cant buy you success, then stfu about city losing

city is the past united just that the currency in the past is smaller and thus when you are making comparison, city is spending much more. furthermore, players get overrated and the football industry is doing much better such that players cost more now.
omg.. dont talk c**k la.. united also grown up players from they own academy like welbeck, gibson, fletcher, cleverly, campbell.. plus, united buy players who is developing and hot prospect.. not many people knows a lot about chicharito, jones, anderson, smalling, c. ronaldo, nani, rafael n fabio.. compared to city, u all simply buying many star well known players.. can u tell me players from city academy that play in first team??
+4
i will leave your question to someone who is willing to do some intense research. you are not wrong, but i am also not wrong either. all i know is city's academy team is currently better than united's :)
@solosilver, sadly these typical shallow-minded city fans often fail to understand this.
+3
ohh yes.. i know city academy is better.. thats y they try so hard to buy pogba from united.. heheehehe.. actually city academy better than united because good youth players in united already promoted to reserve team.. thats why academy not that strong.. city academy...they just stay there play until 18 years old n dont know where to go.. 1st team only occupied for STAR PLAYER ONLY..
Arsenal Academy is better!! kk
That penalty was horrible, but they made up to it with the build-up to the goal, some great football. Well done to the Swans!
Why is this such a shocking result to so many? Swansea plays the most intelligent football in the EPL. If only they had a couple of decent strikers they'd be challenging for a CL spot.
+1
because apparently, city is not allowed to "slip up", after all the "spending"
LOVE the quotation marks around "slip up" and "spending"!!

By anyone else's standards losing to a newly promoted team while challenging for the title is defintely a slip up, and 500 million quid in 3 years is definitely spending!!!!
+6
city definitely spent. but so does other teams. just that city did it in a much shorter term. and its not 500 million as u have exaggerated.

teams do slip up, united slip up against blackburn too. u might argue swansea just got promoted but they definitely doing better than blackburn.
Other teams slip up, United certainly included, but we're not putting quotation marks around our blunders like they aren't real, and no club has EVER spent like City have in the past 3 years. 500 million pounds is not an exaggeration, its commonly known. Here is one of a hundred articles reporting it:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/947315-manchester-city-post-the-biggest-loss-in-english-football-history

And here is one of a hundred articles from 2009 reporting that Monsour was already planning to spend 500 million over the next 3 years:

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Manchester-City-owner-to-bankroll-500million-spending-spree-on-best-young-talent-Exclusive-article255033.html

im not putting " " as saying its unreal. for me, people are so critical about it when city slip up. read all those comments, united can afford to slip up because they can bounce back. DNA it seems, i might agree. but immediately throw a wet blanket on city when they struggle. why this have to happen ? the taunting and criticism from other fans.

those injection of money are investments included, hence that much of money is into it, isn't just transfers alone.

and yes no club has EVER spent that much. that is because that is the ONLY way for a club as small as city to compete with the elite teams like United , arsenal.

since u like reading :
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2064436/Blame-Platini-Manchester-Citys-195m-loss-Martin-Samuel.html#ixzz1jnSrqGrA

it is now, or NEVER for clubs like city.

+1
cut it of laa.. city is a big club now.. just like united.. the difference is, united produced players from the academy like scholes, giggs, welbecks, cleverly, fletcher, evans, gibson.. and we usually buy unknown or less known player and make them star like c.ronaldo, nani, anderson, evra, vidic, smalling, chicharito, rafael, fabio.. united didnt pay so much to buy them u know..

in man city, can u just list the name players from your own academy who play in first team?? how many?? city dont need to spend too much money if they can give chanceto young players to play and give them experience..
+1
Every club needs to buy players man, truth is United have spent their fair share in their time. But I'm pretty confident in saying that a player that has come through the youth system at a club will perform better for HIS team than a player of the same ability that was bought in, I reckon it means more to them. Speaking for myself, I think it also adds a certain romance with the fans when a player comes through the youth system, we see them as one of our own.
+1
Certainly gonna second with you on that ! All Swans missing were some good strikers..imagine if they had them...they would be competitive as other club and perhaps even better. Something Man Utd has to watch out for.
