United deserved the win here for sure, Rooney got nice goal. Nice looking blue away jerseys they had this year and think for next year too. But United had a few posts that didn't go there way which was unfortunate. But what a feeling it must have being for fans or players at end when City losing and they thought they won and started celebrating a bit but then got news, really feel bad and unfortunate for the one guy on the phone(if any of u guys saw). But Im glad City won title and holding it up and not United. :)
Amazed to see no MOTD highlights for a MANUTD match! UTD fans common Sh*t happens, upload it atleast for us to enjoy...
Goodluck for the next season (buy some class players)
Actually I'm not sure that's how footytube works but either way the video was up yesterday but appears to be taken down now.
utd wont be raiding chelsea then if they want class players
the blue moon has definatly risen and its shining proudly over manchester and the whole of england, they deserve to win as they played the best football and were the best team in england, poor luck united...lets be honest this is a very average man united team bar rooney, it has been like that since ronaldo left, united need to buy big or the way i can see liverpool will win the league before united do. well done manchester city, who are a powerhouse now that will represent england against the might of europe alot better then united have done recently
@Burgerpuff: you suggest United raid 'Perth Glory' for players?
Now over to the Sunderland-United game here.

Firstly, there is no such thing as "bad luck" in not winning the EPL. Sure, United were stripped of their defence for the most part (with no Vidic, Smalling, Evans etc) but that's the way things go sometimes, there's the other thing called a Plan B should such things happen. All teams have to cope with it one way or the other during the season. Heck, I sure wish that Lucas was with us for the full season instead of being injured on the sidelines. However, in saying that, don't go with the "If Vidic/Fletcher etc hadn't been injured, it could've gone differently" because you don't know that. On top of that, Man United had an 8 point lead over Man City a number of weeks ago, and then threw it away ahead of the Manchester Derby. Let me ask you this then, is that down to bad luck, or poor performances by United, which in the end proved to be costly?

Still, with all of the above points in mind, it was a tight race to the finish line, of which the noisy neighbours just pipped. So well done in that regard, it proved to be an exciting finish, although Rooney caught the Liverpool bug by aiming for the post or crossbar.

My final word is this though - in order for Man United to keep up and to have a chance for the title next season, they need to beef up the midfield, it's kinda worrying when Fergie didn't have much faith in the midfield, so much so that he brought back Scholes from retirement. There's only so much that Giggs and Scholes will be able to do in the next few years considering their ages...
fergie does have faith, but so many injuries. which is why scholes coming back was the right decision instead of buying a player that might not get many games.cleverly is going to be a great.scholes came back and played better than most including gerrard and lamps.hopefully hes going to get a call for the euro squad.tevez coming back was a worse decision for me.yes it helped the team buthe should never have been allowed the city shirt again.liverpool however have benefited by lucas being out as hes crap and not worthy of the great liverpool shirt.
seriously this is an average untied team, most of em blowing hot n cold apart from rooney, yes unlucky with injuries but fergie had time to buy n chose not just like last summer, they didnt not look like champions all season. need to replace ronaldo with atleast 3world class plyers, fergie must buy big just like they use to
Congratulations to MANCHESTER CITY you did great…to be able to clinch an EPL title is always a great feat no matter who achieves it so well done and enjoy until next season xD you deserved it. I also wish to congratulate MANCHESTER.UTD for fighting till the very end we can be proud guys we lost on GD after all…we managed to performed though we went through so many changes and misfortunes and oh yeah b4 I forget to all the anti-MANCHESTER.UTD thanks for venting your frustration this much it just goes to show how much you rekon our potential ;) !!!
how many mancs and youth did city have in theyre side this season.a few token englishmen, thats all.i hope next season utd arsenal chelsea are back to best.they all under performed as did liverpool.and spurs might step it up if they keep key players.i dont see newcastle improving as im sure the team will be stripped of the players that got them where they are which is a shame.newcastle and spurs teams of season for me.and if wigan played the way they have been for a whole season they would be up there somewhere.to prove the doubters city now need to keep winning for 20 years.chelsea tried and failed.
City don't need to win 20 years. The time is now to celebrate the effort and achievements. We shall see how next year pans out.
Alright lads....after reading all the anti Man Utd comments, i got to tell you all something...l follow man utd ever since i learned about football, i am proud to be a Man Utd fan and it reflected in my life as well...never give up attitude...Man Utd are build with that legacy and we are all humans we cant continuesly win all the time, but we always fight hard to be the best but this time we were second best not by big margin, just goal difference but i am sure Man Utd will fight back next season, we got to strenghen our midfield and defence...we lost our title this season because of our faults...heart breaking but nobody to blame!!!! Man Utd for life:)))God bless Man Utd!!!

We just witnessed one of the greatest moments in football history, such a privilege!

True
This result typifies our season a bit. Rather than 1-0 it should have been 4 or 5. Rooney should have has a hattrick. Losing the title with the last kick of the season hurts a lot but you have to be fair and say that the better team over 38 games won. Time to lick our wounds over the summer and come back stronger next season.

JKTan why the hell are you talking about MONEY? if you cant win titles what is the use of having the money in your bank account.( btw UTD is the richest club in the world)
You were beaten 02 times by CITY this season and they are BETTER than you and deserve the title more than any.
Wow, all kinds of house rules getting broken here. Some bell end above shouting LOSER over and over, loads of illiterate idiots, some sort of offensive comment that has been deleted so I don't even know what it said but most of the replies involve pinging insults back and forth in text speak. The editor of this site needs to get on here, or maybe the house rules don't apply to comments on videos, but only to the blogs. Anyway, I like this site because its debate usually doesn't sound like an array of cider drinking teenagers arguing in textspeak without substance, but only venom. And I get the impression that's what most other people here are all about too. Sort it out lads. Anyway, in the interests of adding to the debate, I'd just like to say to the Chelsea fan above me, it means nothing that United are the "richest club in the world" if the owners do very little to benefit the team with their money. Just because City and Chelsea's billions are technically part of another business, doesn't mean that in reality the two teams aren't way richer than United. I mean, look at the net spend of the three clubs in the last 3 or 4 years. City have done awesome with brilliant signings and management, and more importantly, patience from the board. Chelsea are unlikely to win much again (well, apart from next Saturday! You could easily win that), not because of a lack of quality, but because Abramovic will rarely ever give a manager more than a year in the job (if he was owner of City he would have sacked Mancini last year for having the cheek to finish fourth). That strategy wasn't so bad when he was the only owner with billions, but now city are on the block with money AND patience, and while SAF is still managing United, it is hard to see any other team getting in the top two for a while yet. Without taking anything away from any of Chelsea or City's successes in recent years, as regardless of how the teams were put together they are just a squad of players trying to win, but the fact remains that without having had those billions they would both be nowhere to be seen. Chelsea might have been there or thereabouts once or twice I guess, had Roman not arrived, as you were always around 4th or 5th before he bought you. On the other hand, if SAF had had the spending power of either City or Chelsea in recent years, no one would have come close to United. City have done amazingly well, but the truth is, for SAF to have kept pace with them and finish the season on 89 points despite having a squad that most people agree is some way off the strength of city's, is a remarkable achievement, because the man's a born winner. Give that squad to any other manager in the premier league and there's no way they'd have finished with 89 points with Michael Carrick in the middle and a few 38 year olds. Likewise, if SAF had managed the current Chelsea squad all season, they'd probably have taken city to the wire. Anyway, I hate United and am chuffed to bits they haven't won their twentieth title and hope that they never do, but I have to tell it like it is!
It's sad to see they are so close to winning the league and within minutes it's gone. Try again United better luck next season.
this is the greatest video made of the premierleague,

shows how amazing the league is
the EPL can be so exciting and cruel in a short space of time. congrats City. well done. we're not going anywhere :) we'll be back stronger
