DC United has definitely dodged a bullet here. But they did not do it accidentally by any means. Never giving up and piling on the pressure is a mark of winners(if not champions). Take nothing away from Sounders they have been a joy to watch this season and I am always excited to see a game with them but I would pick Pontius over Zakuani not only in terms of their current skill level but also in terms of their potential. Also, Sounders' attendance average makes me jealous :p

I've got to say that this game has been the most entertaining for me. I thought that the penalty and indirect kick in the box would take the cake for the season (a couple of weeks ago), but the Sounders came out firing from minute one this week and were only turned away from a second straight win by some lucky play and lack of focus in the final 15 minutes.... Grrr, but Keep it up Sounders!

You gotta feel O. Alsonso's hit! Is it just me or is the talent in the MLS finally starting to pick up speed? Some of the goals scored this season are exceptional.
