Russian class in sport lately has been world class and Bilyaletdinov's first strike was all of it.
it could have been a great comeback for Slovenia. Unlucky really.

its a shame that russia are out of the world cup.. they play really good football and as you can see they score some really nice goals.. i think slovenia will end up gettin whooped at the WC anyway..

at least Arshavin will get a long rest before the start of next season :D

guys I predicted spot-on this would happen to Russia look at my earlier comments Russia lacks fitness and the finishing to kill the game I was spot-on Slovenia punished them

Slovenia's late goal in this match has sunk Gus Hiddink. Russia should have kept a clean sheet here and then they would not have been knocked out. Well too bad they cant change it now. They are out

i don't understand why russia is out though. they tied on aggregate. is it because of the away goals rule like the CL?

The one goal at the end proved to be the fatal flaw for Russia. Looking back now that is the reason Russia are out. They let their guard down and gave up a very important goal.

russia is getting better and better they have so many stars now like bilya, arsha, zhirkov and palychenko they are all fantastic players but credit to the slovenian keeper as well he made quite a few saves
