Rubin's sole purpose is to frustrate Barca, they take pride in it. In fact, they probably do not care if they even get out of the group as long as barca dose not beat them.
and how did you come to that statement? i'm sure for a team in the cl they have more ambition than to stop barca. credit for them for there games against barcelona but it's not the end of their campaign.
bad game by barca
what a f**kin diver iniesta is! a disgrace to football
i hate diving!
da frist pen was a dive
ARE YOU GUYS F*** BLIND OR WHAT!?!
It's crystal clear that the Kazan kid hit iniesta's leg from behind...now its up to the ref to interpret it as intentional or accidental.
You want see disgrace? i'll show you what disgrace to football is

It's not just because i'm a barca fan...but even a unbiased 3rd grade kid can tell the difference between ronaldo's diving and iniesta "diving".
So c'mon people, no offense, but stop being stupid!
Iniesta dived for the penalty
Well that's what they do Barca, they all dive, Nani might be bad but when your whole team does it, it's a damn shame.
Oh come one! Everyone knows United are one of the most known divers in Europe! Remember one of you old cutie pie, Ronaldo, loved to roll over the ground and crybaby for a penalty?
how can u say they playesd rubbish c'mon ppl there finishing let them down its that simple at least they fought they way back in....
viva rubin... barca sucks without messi
uhm messi played
Great result by Rubin,I love them!
Hmmm, I acknowledge that I am a Barça fan, but I think handing out "awesomes" and "rubbishes" just because the favored team didn't win doesn't quite do this match justice.

I know rubbish Barcelona. Rubbish Barcelona moves the ball around in the safe territory between the halfway line and the opponent's box, failing to create chances. Rubbish Barcelona is Hércules a few weeks ago, or Kazan a year ago. Rubbish Barcelona, like yesterday's Barcelona, has A LOT of possession, so that's no argument.

But in this match, they got unlucky early on, were punished for one slip-up and at least came back to equalize, dominating the game against a defensive opponent. They could have scored a few times, Kazan just had the one non-pk chance...so while 81% possession could be rubbish Barcelona, 81% possession, 17 shots, pulling back from 0-1 and showing some good play, to me, is not.

That said, well played Kazan. Your record against Barcelona is indeed impressive, nothing to take away from that.
you talk as if barca didnt also score by a penalty
Yeah either than that penalty and Pedro's chance you guys had NOThING! This is like Rangers putting 9 people in defense.
They did also score by a penalty. It was no great performance. Not even close. But they dominated an away game in the CL and didn't lose, and I don't think this one qualifies for rubbish - unless Barça not beating a less star-studded team is rubbish by definition to you. Just my opinion.
Very good defensive play from Rubin.. however you cannot deny that this game was won and loss from poor finishing on both sides. Even with the defensive play we still managed to get chances we just have to put them away that all.

It's the same thing that happened against Inter in the second leg, we surely had chances we just didn't have many.. but when you don't take them, then chances are you won't get the result you want.

Any team can play whatever style of football they choose. In the end they will have to attack one way or another to win and if they manage to convert those chances then they deserve the result.
wow so many penalties on this champions league day, its like referees now tend to give them way too easy
three for Tottenham, none of them is true.. hell them decisions
It's true,very soft penalties!
here one for you, another one for you penalties for everyone. who wants one, all you have to do is learn from the italians how to dive and come get your prize :P
viva barcelona you are the best

except when you face youre nemesis que tiene un nombre y apello lo cual es Rubin Kazan! ;)
wow spanish sounds so cool!
stopped watching halfway through. couldn't listen to the commentator anymore.
Its funny how Iniesta falls for the slightest touches..
glad someone noticed:))
Tbh I perfectly understand him. I'm 6' tall, but I'm pretty slender too, like Andrés, and I often play football with friends of mine who play basketball. They're all a lot taller and can easily push me aside. And even though I don't intend to, I usually lose my balance and fall. May look like diving, but I think that in most cases Iniesta doesn't do it intentionally. Some people just haven't got either the strength or the balance, or both, like Andrés.
lol what? He is great but he goes down much easier than Messi IMO. In any case I think it was a penalty, just a soft one in comparison to the Kazan one right?
balance or no balance. I think Iniesta is an absolute cheat. There are people who go down easy with a little contact (my fav team is no exception) and then there are people like Iniesta who will fall down with no contact at all if needed.

Need some proof well just look back at the world cup final. That red card to the dutch was all Iniesta act. And frankly not the first time Iniesta did it.
...no one mentions how Iniesta weaves through people or how he dripple the ball right?? Yes the instant two defenders come at him and trip him its a problem or when he goes over a defenders foot its a problem right?

The man is light....I find it much easier for him to fall than a man like Luis Suarez or Drogba.

In this case Iniesta was between two defenders. Yet let him come out with a injury and people would be singing a different story.
Looks like Rubin has found a way for Barca
every team that plays the way rubin played (defensive) will have success against Barca. Last year Inter did it, this year Rubin did it and that is going to continue until Pep figures out that in these kinds of games Barca players CAN'T walk in the goal with the ball.
Rubin Kazan Played Brilliant.. Great Match..
