Stupid Rafa Benitez! I wonder how N'Gog and Voronin have it about that even when Torres is injured, Benitez prefer to use Torres instead of one of them!
I don't think any excuse is could explain this!

agreed, clubs like lyon and bordeux (who have both qualified for the final 16) will prove tough to beat against the top english, spanish and italian clubs

Babel's goal was wonders, Lyon just got through somehow... not luck but more like persistent... I guess Liverpool felt that since there were a few minutes left nothing would happen... but hey! s**t happens :/ Liverpool WILL be in the in the next group in the champions league (:

to be entirely fair, there is a long list of players under that category:

Voronin, Lucas, Babel (inspite of his wondergoal), Ngog, Kyrgiakos, Degen, El Zhar, Skrtel and Dossena.

benitez has tried to slowly turn liverpool around, but he has also made several mistakes in the process. losing bellamy and keane were starters, but xabi this summer was just a blunder. if he still had one of those two strikers and xabi, picture the lineup: Agger, Johnson, Carragher, Insua, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard, Riera, Torres and Keane/Bellamy!! now THAT's a championship-winning team!
