not really. Best striker of the Bundesliga last season and starter for Holland. Pretty much right were he should be.

The Netherlands had what was probably the worst Finals of a Championship EVER!

Although Huntelaar is a top goalscorer and a #9 poacher type, it would've been hard to play him ahead of RvP. Holland uses the 4-3-3 formation and unless they switched to a 4-4-2 or a 4-1-3-2 to allow both Huntelaar AND van Persie play at the same time, it wouldn't have really worked.

Van Marvijk made horrible decisions (in my opinion) starting from the WC in 2010. Bad substitutions, a formation that was more like a 4-2-3-1 (too defensive for Holland's quality of players). Holland's motto has always been (at least for as long as I know) Offence is the best Defence... so why not keep it that way?
