This game meant a lot as 2 peoples who hate each other (the Dutch are constantly teetering on the brink of institutionalized xenophobia/a deep hate of Turks) so it was a huge win for the Oranje.

I have to be honest, I want him out of the team. Badly. He doesn't cross and he's extremely selfish. If he didn't take the corner kick then he would have made 0 crosses that game.

I hate van Gaal but he did good thing by going 4-1-2-3, it doesn't allow Robben to cut inside as much.

Anyone else dislike Robben as much as I do? I could tolerate it before when he impacted the game often. These days it seems all he likes to do it whine about every call and tumble from the slightest touch....

As far as the game.. Turan should have finished that opportunity. Holland needs work in D. I wish the Dutch would find their form like they had during last WC. I was impressed with Turkey, they could be very strong.

Good game by Holland, Van Gaal is a great manager it is very good that he used a lot of young players which need experience. I think he will rebuild the team and Holland will be again on top.
