rooney's goal was good but there are tons of overhead kicks that are even better but dont get as much attention. this one was from a couple months ago in the ligue 1 and in my opinion is the best one i've seen all season long:

The thing is that no one cares about the french league because its boring. Rooney's goal won Manchester United a huge game and was twice as exciting to watch.
