Who is voting Great performance to the way Man U played.. please stop just saying what you feel be honest... that was the worst performance by Man U and to see that on their Home ground...

The other team had the game and should have scored one to make it a draw... I will be so sad and bored if Man U shows up in the Semis of Final with this horrible style of play....
Not like United had that many goals this game, but we all knew that it be a shock if they lost or tied it, but good enough win for them, they 2 more goals then other team
Go Valencia!!! Missed you scoring and your assists
its funny how people say man utd is lucky or saying how lousy they are every season, BUT they still win trophies BITCHES. HAHA
who says that?

Luck on top of skill is a lethal combination, don't forget that
I actually love Phil Jones. What a talent. Hard to believe hes just 19, he plays like a veteran, bosssing teammates about and leading by example.

I believe hes already abeter option than Ferdinand and Id love to see Jones-Vidic CB partnership for the up-and-coming games, until Smalling returns from his injury. Then, Jones and Smalling and fight it out. No Evans please!

What is everyone crying about? We won a game 2-0!

Didn't Barcelona only beat Victoria Pelzen 2-0 at home as well? Was there a crisis there too? Clearly Barcelona need a new CM...

*sigh*

We're not in the greatest of forms at the moment, but I agree I would hardly called it a crisis (yes, in spite of the city loss). Getting a win of small games when we're not on form is what we do best. That said, we can always improve our midfield further and I think we have a bit of a central defender problem with Ferdinand not doing too well and Vidic being prone to injury.
what is going on here? alex got all confused from tht defeat o what?? where r the players mid feilder, im mad seeing rooney in the back while 3rd grade strikers up front lol no offense to trolls, but rooney needs to up scoring not defending wtf , still he did gr8 , hes got gr8 team ethic but slight temper prob which has cost lot in his career, come madrid we will fix u up jus jk but no they need sneijder n all good players to feed him pass cmon

I actually agree with you at some point about someone who can actually pass him a ball. Even better stated we need someone like Valencia that we had in 2009-2010 season.

We do need a person that can fully synchronize with his play. I am talking about the person like Ruud Van Nistelrooy that we had before. He was amazing. He tought Rooney so much and he was the last and only player with full understanding of each others play.

Ah, the good ol' days...

The good ol' days? What on Earth are you talking about?

When RVN was here, we could barely crack the top 3 in the PL! Forget your nostalgia and look at the truth: We're a much better team right now than we were.
I agree Rooney should play up foront but we had no fit CMs for this game apart from Anderson hence Rooney played there

I do worry about our CM situation. Unless Cleverley returns and changes everything (a lot to ask seeing as though ehs young and inexperienced), I can see us strugglign to win games comfortably in the Premand in Europe for a long time
i cannot believe all the complete idiots who say man utd played a horrible game.I just got the chance to watch it(about a day and a half after it was played) and i thought i was gonna watch the mst boring game of my life. Yes, it was not vintage United but we actually played some really good football at times, and Berbatov was part of it on many occasions. True, not his best game, but it was his first full game not in the carling cup in probably half a year. considering i thought this was a VERY poor game by man utd from comments on a few different sites, i was pretty impressed by the whole team. Berbatov should really get more games, he still has a lot to give

Have to agree with you about berbatov.but united NEED vidic FAST and a holding midfielder who can reclaim and confidently distribute the ball.(Scholes' younger clone).but i have to say the first thing u look for a striker gettin back in form is positioning and the runs that are made.look at berba doing that really well this game.
I heard fairly reliable rumours (german television) Sir Ferguson is interested in Schalke's Farfan and has offered Berbatov and 20 million €. Think that has merit? And is it a good deal?
Why would SAF give up someone of Berbatov's caliber for someone so much lesser?

Don't get me wrong, Farfan is a great player, but I don't think he would fit with United as well as Berbatov has.
United won't make it to the semi finals this year .. it's obvious
Hows PSG doing ?

DFans have been saying that for the past 4 years yet we've made it to 3 finals

In Rooney, Nani, Young and Hernandez, we have one of the most lethal atatcks in Europe and although our CMs are average, they've managed to do so well reaching 3 finals in 4 years so they cant be that bad
My Gosh Manchester united really did struggle last night didnt they who would hage phunk a little known romanian team could give you so much truoble but hey such is the nature of football and the trademark of a champion team is the ability to grovel through any typ of game even if its one you should have won 6-0 but you cant help but feel united were restraining themselves due to the butt froocking they received last weekend if so i hope this is not a sign of things to come as i enjoy wacthing their free flowing cohesive system of football and phil jones = future captain of england he aint cheap on FM thats for sure england all day every day god bless the queen may she reign in peace no war with iraq please
Phil Jones is an OUTSTANDING player! talk about all-around players, he is defenetly considered that, considered a CB, yet plays as a full back, midfield, hell even winger he puts in great crosses and always determined! good buy for United defiently.

Further note, I feel united really miss Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs in the midfield, they showed great character, authority and commandment, which I feel they lack ATM..

True.
finally rooneys drought ends !!!
NO it still continues
Regardless of whether they give him the goal, he is half the reason that ball went into the goal so you can consider it over, yes.
So i didnt watch the game but idk why i dont like Rooney in mid.
Where is Cleverly?! That kid is amazing!
cleverley is injured
United's first goal was offside. Man U is always lucky
Owen didn't touch the ball, and Valencia wasn't offside. The goal should count.
United haters are always annoying.

You dont have to touch the ball to be offside, you just have to have an influence on the play. Either way, I dont think Owen is offside, he seems to be on the same line as the ball when Jones crosses.

Not a brilliant game, but a deserved win for MU
