aand my rant starts...NOW
i remember 8-2 like it was yesterday and this was equally as painful if not more. why? because that game was thankfully a one off blip. This game couldve easily had a 6 goal differential, and its they way arsenal have been playing for a quite a run now.

Just read the article about Santos not thinking what he did was so bad. Are you serious?! He probably would've said the same thing if he had gotten on his knees for him in the tunnel! Even teams getting bashed 10-0 at half time with an ounce of dignity don't do what he did. I believe he said if he knew it was such a bad thing to do he wouldnt have done it in public...YOU SHOULDNT HAVE DONE IT AT ALL YOU IDIOT!...If he was Fergie's player, he would be on the next flight back to Brazil or Turkey or wherever the hell he came from.

Only positive an arsenal fan can take from this season so far? As Piers Morgan said, if Arsenal finish 17th, we can be sure as hell Spurs will be 18th. LOL

I'm one of those In Wenger We Trust fans, but this game made me lose so much respect for him. We play 4-2-3-1? Since When? I couldn't believe it when I saw the starting line up and saw Santos there instead of Verm with Koscielny at CB. Since Gibbo got injured you could have never watched a game in your life and known that player is crap. When I played growing up (mediocre youth level), if one of our back four started making stupid all or nothing lunging tackles at the halfway line they wouldve been off in a heartbeat and gotten an ear full. Hes like a EA FIFA player who can only X tackle, in sum hes a f@cking joke. Wenger said he needed Jacks creativity so he hept him on, BUT HE STARTED HIM NEXT TO ARTETA! Ramsey plays right wing? SINCE WHEN? Arsenal planned to park the bus. And after the whatever minute rvp scored it seemed like they all thought "sh!t, weve actually got to score" That team had max 1 goal in them and it didnt even seem like Wenger thought his team were capable of winning. He went out and bought two strikers, and if Giroud isnt settled, why the eff arent you playing the other striker you bought in that position?! (podolski)...

if the game plan was to sit back, why not do it properly with a 4-5-1(worked at united away in the past since the midfield was controlled), arteta the tip of an inverted triangle with cazorla and wilshere, with walcott and podolski(if he must play there) on the flanks ...

But at the same time i somewhat feel sorry for wenger. seems like hes succumbed to greater powers in the board and CLOWN----> gazidis. Arsenal seem very happy as a feeder club, and even Wenger seemed jolly at half time in this game. The Wenger of old would have seen rvp coming to him at half and sternly said "not now!" Don't think anything further needs to be said about Santos' shirt. Fergies still got his steel, if Wenger's still got it, he must show it now...

brings me to another point, I dont understand why walcott isnt playing just cuz of contract talks. If thats the stand the club takes with those situations then fine, but if your playing united away u need your best players END OF STORY. For me, he MUST start playing for the best interest of the club, and the board have to say "if he leaves we find someone who is a direct replacement, so hes not missed" not some unproven, or another youth to develop and then sell.

Every year Wenger puts his head at risk, but always comes through with the top 4 finish. I don't know if i believe that can happen with the way hes got the team playing, and god forbid that we finish below 4th, I think hes got to go. And if theo goes and no substantial replacement is brought in, gazidis must go as well. The board have a fine and dandy biz model, but once the arsenal decline even further, they can kiss the profits good bye as well.

dude im afraid no one's following your long and enthusiastic comments
I read them all; they were well thought out and I mostly agree.

Something very strange about the way they are playing lately. Wenger does seem to coddle players somehow; if I was manager I would've given Santos a lashing, and after the shirt exchange he would be dropped end of story..
these guys giving the reviews summed up exactly how i was feeeling, santos=c**t
United missed a lot of chances could have easily 5-1 we cant afgord that our main strength is attack but yea one thing i miss the rivalry between arsenal and united

wtf said arsenal were awesome?
united played us like we were wigan, so utterly disappointed, arsenal need to switch to 4-4-2 this formation isn't working 4 us
Glory Glory!!
Ouch... could have been a much more horrific scoreline. Special thanks to fat Rooney for missing a penalty, have a deep fried mars bar on me
