ronaldo is stil a selfish bich...
The team looked very balanced in the first half but they were more attacking in the 2nd. Nice goals from Higuain.
Looks like Di maria, and Ozil is adapting to the team pretty well. cant wait till kaka comes back on the field, to see the magic they does in the midfield with him and Ozil as playmakers
good show all around
about booing him: there are differences between turkish fans who live on turkey and the turkish fans who live at other countries. they are more nationalistic because of living in a new, unknown country. so they care more about their home countries. but the native turks aren't like so. i'm sure and u will see mesut (özil) will be applauded at istanbul while playing against turkey.
I know some native turkish people living in turkey and they are very proud of özil. they love him. (of course they are sad that he doesnt play for turkey)
i think the type of turkish fan LIVING in germany is in lot of cases different.
but this leads us to another ENDLESS discussion which is far away from the beginning post :D
in sum i still say: He grew up in germany, even his parents lived the most of their lives in germany, he feels like a german, he is able to play for germany so its okay to play for germany.
otherweise he would play for a team with a mentality he is maybe not used to. I think its maybe a bit olfashined to speak only about the "BLOOD" of someone.
And i think boateng had also some different reasons why he chose Ghana. (bad press about his in germany for example)
and why do insist on the biological part by answering posts in a football forum with "he is turkish", when you "don't give a s**t" where he plays. again: he is not turkish, he is german. why not just say: he played well, because that is something we can finally agree on.
With the US it's different I feel because there is no set ethnicity. There is no "true American." So most people here consider themselves American and wte they originally are. They support both countries that they are from. Idk how it is in other countries-can someone who is not ethnically German be considered German? I know some countries only give passports to "their" people.
