Scrapy defence, don't know what they hav ben coaching, no man to man marking. Defence is awaful. 7-8 men in the box still can't defend.

India sucks right now, but they got a great potential. I live in Canada and the Indian kids are really good at soccer, just the country needs to support the sport.

god i hate my country ! korea werent awesome .. they played well but should have scored alot more india were not rubbish . they were pitiful. i dont know when other indians are gonna start supporting football . man i hope it happens before die .. highly unlikely though

yes we won, but i feel like korea didn't finish a lot of the chances they had. given that india's defense was atrocious, we had so many opportunities to score, but just couldn't finish.

maybe it was the weather, but still.

Indian football is a joke 1.2 billion people can't produce 11 playerss...sad...people in India just don't play sports, and the govt. there is too lazy to encourage national pride.

Its not abt the population mate the people do't hav interest in football. Its only stince 2-3 years they hav en into football. But still the game is poor as the defending.....

This game was a mismatch. Korea dominated the entire game and India's defense were often caught. I can't even count how many chances we had to further increase the lead but sadly 4 goals weren't enough to finish on top when considering it was only due to +1 goal difference.

Other than that, we're off to quarter finals to face Iran which I'm really looking forward to and it should be a good match.

the defending on the first goal tells me everything i need to know about india. why would you back away instead of going up for the ball 5 yards out?

I agree, I was very puzzled after seeing the first goal. The defender could have just gone for an aerial challenge on that free header, but instead he backed off for what? Tried to defend en empty net against a free header? Biggest mistake ever. Worst part is, he had no reason whatsoever to do that, going for the challenge was the only right thing to do.
