i don't understand why benitez sold all your good players & decided to struggle with the mostly horrible squad he has now (with the exception of torres & gerrard of course). xabi alonso, riise & a few players from the the 2005 champions league-winning team. it goes to show that he's not an arsene wenger who has the foreknowledge of when to offload a particular player.

juventus really should have done better. great goal from del piero at first and then a unnecessary penalty to concede.. buffon with a stupid challenge.. and fun to see riise score in such a big game, isn't every day he scores a header. usually blast it in with the sledgehammer. gg
