We could have used SHUNSUKE NAKAMURA and SHINJI ONO -- they really are still great players! I was watching the end of this game right when I woke up, and it's a real miracle that we managed to tie... thanks so much, Yoshida! (Nice cross by Hasebe!)

Come on Japan, you were the team I enjoyed the most watching last WC. You are better than this, but this AFC is full of suprise and the favourites seem to struggle.

Ahhh Japan could have done SO MUCH more better. Well can't help, they didn't have enough time to practice as a team :S
Better beat Syria.
But good cross by Hasebe and good header by Yoshida

J league ended mid december, they've had heaps of time to train together, gel and refresh.

got a feelin their inept performance is due to tryin to adapt to the new coaches methods/tactics, they didnt appear to be well organised at all
