Let's be a bit cautious here. I admit, I'm biased. I love Italy. But let's see how this team does on the big stage. That win against Spain was promising, but can be chalked up to Spain fielding a less than stellar (although still unbelievably strong) line and some very rare occurrences (Montolivo actually finishing and Aquilani's deflection). This team has a long way to go to prove themselves.
