loved the passing at the end!!!
I can't believe they did not show a single clip from before the first goal! They were playing some amazing football!
what can i say is that getafe were very lucky barca's attacking front didn't capitalize on all of thier chances, its gonna be even uglier then just 3-1...but i can also say that barca too are very lucky getafe didn't capitalize on barca miss chancess to get at least a draw..anyway good win barca...can't wait for el classico..messi Vs ronaldo..whose gonna prevail...hate ronaldo antics n theatrics but i like mourinho to win that battle..!!.plus ronaldo's head being tackle by puyol so he can grow up n be a man..
Getafes goalkeeper had the best match in his life. Barcas defence was a bit confused, had some mistakes. Three attackers three goals.
yep Pique's a badass
Messilla is the most lethal combination the history of football has put together, only Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are more fun to watch. ☺☻

2 weeks remain until,el clasico..but for now bring on villareal!
how many game pique is gonna miss?
1 BUT if he gets a yellow card in the Almeria match then he will miss El Clásico so waiting to see if Pep will use him in that match or not...
He shouldn't use him just in case he gets a yellow.
ok thanks
great attack for Barcelona, on def...... the conceded goal is unnecessary, from Pique's hand
What a brilliant play at the 1st goal...pure quality!!
nothing to say about the attacks, the only thing is the defense, when they are leading they will always feel complacent and there goes a clean sheet.
These guys just do not quit! arghh -_-
Though it is good, at least this season is even a closer battle than
last season.
This season is turning to be one awesome season.
yeah...it's gonna be a rough one
General observation: I watched both of the big teams yesterday, and I think the difference between them is not only in the playing styles - which are certainly different, but not actually worlds apart - but also in a different mental approach.

Barça is so overloaded with genius and skill that they usually make it look like they're just chilling and shooting the breeze while knocking around a ball for fun...that leads to incredible plays as epitomized by Messi's last chance, but it also incurs a certain sloppiness, as epitomized by Messi's last chance (the finish) and a couple of Villa's opportunities.

Real is an awesome team right now, but not quite on the same level, talent-wise, as Barcelona. But there's a certain vigor and determination about the way the team is playing at the moment which makes them just as good as Barça in La Liga so far; deservedly one point and a few goals up, in fact. That's what I sorta miss about Barcelona. They're just a tad too casual at times, even though I understand that it's boring to play an opponent as overchallenged as Getafe, just stop MAKING IT INTERESTING FOR THEM, chrissake.

Also, Piqué, stop bitching. I know you know the ref knew what he was doing.

Great first-half performance tho.

i think you hit the nail on the head. I remember reading an article about last season's first game against Arsenal at the emirates which ended 2-2, the article described Barca as a cat playing with a dead mouse that suddenly gets bored...then obviously the mouse gets back up which is what arsenal did when they made the comeback in the last 20 minutes...this seems to be happening a lot with them now, especially against lesser teams.

After the last 2 years, Barca perhaps just don't feel the need to prove themselves the same way, they know theyre the best whereas Real madrid are in the opposite situation...they NEED to win something

interesting, but if that is the case... then it's Guardiola's job to get them out of that state of mind!! there's always room to improve and coaches are able to sit back and watch where the improvement is needed..
i'd prefer winning above possession, barca always shows they can keep the ball for as long as the game last but yes, it'd get pretty boring and in the end the defence got complacent and that's where the mess come up, in this stage, just keep scoring like madrid does because if not, we would be sorry for the rest of the season.
Good comments...the cat with the mouse is pretty much the perfect metaphor for that Arsenal game, yeah. After Ibra's second, I thought they were gonna win it at least that high. The problem is, it's ok for me to think so being some dude in front of a TV, but it's less ok for 11 men on the pitch to think so.

I wouldn't wanna go over the top with the criticism. They're nowhere near as spoilt as late Rijkaard Barça I think, but they need to be careful. Or else some stupid sh#t like the Hercules match might be decisive

MESSI = GOD

U need a chill pill.. lol
so Messi is an imaginary anthropomorphic being who lives in the sky and makes people do things that no sane person would think of?
Yes he is a god. That or a robot.
primera liga is the most boring league. they should do something to stop the dominance of barca and r.madrid.
ah shut up!
..you don't know nothing about La Liga!
Things might look easy from highlights, but
it is hard for big teams like Barca and Real to
deal with teams like these, because when they play against
Real and Barca they throw everything they got against them.
Everybody want's to beat Braca and Real, so they will try to play their best, which makes it really hard.
do something? like what? force them to buy crap players? force other teams to lure in big oil money and buy foreign players? and no one's forcing you to watch anything...if it's boring, don't watch, don't peep your head out of your little box where you live comfortably on one style of football...Spain is different, so naturally their football is different

Why do Man U fans always come on here talking nonsense??lol comical
especially this bloke Granadinho, obviously he adapted a 'brazillian footballer's name that happened to not play in the epl and a legend in primera liga' and say he is a manU fans that happens to be a disgrace of manU, everytime, i mean everything he has to say is this: primera liga is so boring. please don't poke your head here again. go see if rooney's having a good birthday gift that is not from spain.
