I can imagine how great must Baros felt scoring these goals against Liverpool - his former team (the team that had been impeding his progress for a while )
Don't people understand friendly's,this was just a run out for squad player's who won't get many games and to help condition those lacking fitness like Carroll,Kelly and Cole. The full first team will be a different prospect.
Yeah, but it's mainly meant to experiment with the team, and (indeed) restain their condition, It's also meant to rebuild their team spirit for upcoming season. -Though a so called second team from Liverpool may never lose vs Galatasaray
Galatasaray SK's 3rd GOAL! Stunning.
agreed great strike
Baros revenge and liverpool fall yet again.

Where is Gerrard? Haven't seen him long time already.
Wow, so somehow they now have Elmander, Felipe Melo and Ulfaleusi (?)... 5 stars for their transfer season.

Oh, and hahahahahahahahahaha... Liverpool. Lol.
aka 'Man city' in Turkey
That other team played great, good for them to beat Liverpool, as for Liverpool there jerseys looked pretty nice
Thank you! lol
liverpool is just an awful team.u guys have no creative players what so ever.friendly or not u should have not lost like this, everyone is lazy on that team and andy carroll OMFG!!! 35 MILLION are u serious?

at least torres is known to produce goods before carroll even hit puberty "just for anyone who tries to bring torres into it as usual".

one thing tho! they play freaking amazing against chelsea, manu and arsenal. i think they need to start giving them drug test before matches against the top 3 + man city.

but if a player is tested once the next time he could be test again legally wont be for another 3 months. so any player have a month and a half to get laced up with cocaine lol stupid rules. not saying liverpool does this but come on, its an awful team, they draw or lose to wastham one minute then beat man uinted and chelsea the next minute. either liver players have PM Syndrome or they just play good when they feel like it.
Don't forget it wasn't the full Liverpool, most of the side put out were fringe players or those looking to get fit. They were one of the most consistent sides after Kenny took over last season, don't forget we were close to the bottom before then.Carroll is only as good as the supply to him which should be better now they have some wingers plus Suarez looks top class.Worry more about your crusty old team, not like they waste money is it.
elmander's goal is icing on the cake
it's alright. just stay calm.

The 3-0 defeat to the turks is nothing.

Because LFC have won it 5 times !

Also according to the book Soccernomics Turkey is going to become a powerhouse of football so dont feel ashamed.

Never read the book, but I think that will take some time to happen... lots of Turkish players have great talent, but that talent is not sufficiently nurtured in Turkey.

In Germany, on the other hand, those young talented players are properly taken care of, so now you can see lots of third generation imigrants with a Turkish and German passport playing for the German national teams, be it the U-17, where Samed Yesil, Okan Aydin and Emre Can have mostly dominated the World Cup in Mexico or Germany's first squad, where Mesut Özil, a player who has played for the German U-19 and won the U-21 European Championship, has become an absolute world class midfielder.

So you can see the talent in Turkish players, but unless Turkey does not do more to support their young football players, I don't see them becoming a powerhouse in the near future.
The first and last goals were brilliant.
