Personally i think England can easily build on this stable performance. Defensively we were World Class but we need to show some confidence on the ball in Midfield and the final 3rd. I also believe Roy Hodgson was limited in his ideas due to Rooney's absence, but if we can beat sweden and with rooney back against ukraine im telling you England will grow in confidence & will cause any team problems. As for the french i expected them to bully us they are a tad bit overrated but did take more chances than us to be fair but did not outplay is initially thought they would do.

Just what I expected from both sides. Great expectations with the stars on both rosters, but average performances.

The first half was ok, but in the second I was yawning every 2 minutes...England might be criticized for not playing offensively, but France wasn't that good either, not very fluid. Hoping both teams step up in the next games.

1 shot on target in 90 minutes of play. If this is considered a good performance for England, I can't wait to see them play great.
