great goal by Gila. I still wonder on reasons of his inability to fit in ACM squad...
What is it with Italians (or Serie A to be more specific) and hitting the ball on the full volley? I totally support the style and physical skill that comes with said skill, but does anyone ever take a shot from off the ground? If I think of all the great goals scored in history, it seems that most of them that come from Serie A are acrobatic volleys of some sort (with the obvious exception of Seedorf's 45 yard blast, but that is a very special case!). It really is a wonderful thing to behold when it comes off, but when it misses, you kinda wonder if it was worth the effort. Nonetheless a great goal form Gilardino!

Yes...it would have sucked not to get 3 points from Cesena. I mean, they've only beaten what, three teams this season. I'm trying to remember who they were...I know they beat Lecce, and for some reason I want to say they beat Lazio...which is pretty impressive. Such a terrible team beating the second place team in Serie A. But I'm having trouble remembering that third team that Cesena managed to beat...I know it was a 2-0 victory, fairly sound, against a big club, in red and black stripes, very famous, big stadium, really important...sarcasm starting to run thin, you get the picture, can't believe Reid didn't jump all over this one...

OK...what? Out of all that, you picked up on the fact that Cesena also has a big stadium? That was easily the least important part of the comment! Do I now have to literally spell out my sarcasm? Pragathish, a Milan fan, rips on ReidScott, a Fiorentina fan for ALMOST not getting three points from Cesena, while his team managed to do exactly the thing for which he was trying to make fun of Fiorentina for not having done? Clear? Of course not, the sarcasm stood for itself!!! AC Milan lost to Cesena 2-0...how can you possibly make fun of another team who actually came away with the win, and suggest that to not have done so would have been the worst possible outcome, because Cesena are such a bad team? God I hate the Internet some times!

A killer goal from Gila, absolutely beautiful, it takes a man with a predators skill and composure to score a goal like that one!
