i will NEVER get tired of watching this video!
Ya baby, Seattle's first year in MLS and now they have a trophy. Awesome, so happy for Seattle.
"YUUHHEEEAAAEEEUUUHHHSSSS! I had a STRROOOOOOKE."

Sounders dominated this match... I've seen enough of Wicks from just a few games to see enough absolutely unnecessary, un-classy crap like that. There has got to be a way for him to yell at his team or blast the soccer ball that doesn't include trying to jump on an opponent!
I agree with the Wicks buisness, But DC was dominating the game before and after the red card. Sounders goals were all on counters and taking advantage of our 3 man back line. DC had the ball in Seattle's half almost the whole second half.
oooooo, that's debatable.
First, you have a three man back no matter if you have eleven on the squad. No complaints there mate. Also, I stand by my comment that Wicks' reaction saves kept three or more out of the net in the first half, while DC had maybe a few chances. In the second, it was much more back and forth, but I didn't see anything that would merit a "dominating" from DC.
One more thing: I've always liked DC. I like the kits, the squad, the history, and DC was one of my fav teams prior to Seattle coming to the league. I just don't think Wicks is of the quality worth keeping if he's got that sort of stuff happening on the pitch, this including his verbal confrontation with his own teammate earlier this season.
Totally uncalled for, no class whatsoever
edit o previous posts: he may not have touched him significantly (he got some lower abdomen), but even just having the thought deserves a hefty suspension.
The goalkeeper from DC should never play soccer as professional again. The action he made was beyond consideration.
Seattle deserved it, no doubt. It really should've been a blow out, Seattle had all the chances in the world, but their terrible scoring form as of late seemed to follow them into this one until the Montero goal.

But wow @ Wicks. First he gets into a shoving match with his own defense DURING A GAME, and now this. I am so happy the Galaxy got rid of him.
Haha, I love how you can't vote for GOTW in the MLS.. This site is spot on! haha

Wicks much deserved red card.. What an egg-head.. did you see that gross looking spot on the back of his neck when they showed a close up? ewwwww g-ross..haha

Llungberg needs to put'em away!!

I miss having FSC at my house - but I don't miss this guy that was commentating this game, Max Bretos.. how aggravating is he???????????
I hate his YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHH!

The most annoying call in football. (I almost said the most annoying call in all of sports, but occasionally I'm forced to hear the Tennessee Titans play by play guy and the Yankees play by play guy--they are both worse than Bretos.)

haha, Agreed..

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!

What the hell is that anyway? I wonder how much he gets payed to irritate the crap out of us with his annoying words..
Oh hell no dude, Max is the best commentator we have aside from his partner Christopher Sullivan. Max is funny and knowlegable about our game as well as the rest of the world.
christopher sullivan is awesome
He's not that bad and is informative, but he is sounds like an eccentric weirdo. Sullivan should get primary input, i agree. ✌

How bout' Bobby McMahon, he's knowledgeable haha. The dudes from Fox Football Fone-In would be the shiz-knittle-bam-zip-zap-zap.. Nick Webster and ahh i forget the other dude.
haha, and the Fone-In crew probably would be much more entertaining than Max and the MLS game being played.. Except for the Sounders, Freddy Rocks.

They'd probably crack a joke or two, haha I guess I just laugh a lot when I see some jackasses struggle to score.
SOUNDERS FC! NO EQUAL! ECS!
Not Montero :'(

Sounders til I die!
I wasn't sure if he actually jumped on his chest or not especially since no one on the field made a comotion, but then the replay showed it pretty clear. he should be gone for a while
Lavelle, can you or someone else please show me the contact between Wicks and Montero. I was at the game and I was trying to figure out what happened cause I didn't see anything in the stadium either. On the other note Seattle were a bit better on the night. Zakuani is very inconsistent. Gomez have not given a pass in the final third and that cost DC.
What a game. The Sounders played like i knew they could. Complete domination. "I'm Sounders til i Die"
Wicks was doing so well, and then had to ruin it all with one of the most disgraceful moves I've seen in years. I hope MLS bans him from the rest of DC United's matches.

On another note, Seattle played outstanding football today. I am so freaking excited about the MLS Playoffs this year that I can't even describe it.
I agree with Lavelle. Wicks was having such a solid night and just had an unlucky deflection. He did not need to do something that was not only disgraceful to him but to his whole team as well. I thought Seattle definitely deserved to win the cup so Im glad they did.
It was way uncalled for. If not for that he may have continued having a impressive night. Anyone notice that wick's looks like he has down syndrome?
