after the nasty tackle rapids went on d, obviously they did well the goal they let in was really weak goalie should have had that one. but to play 90 minutes down a man and only allowing one goal, is a pretty good achievement.

bummer to the sounders player that is rough. hope he recovers quickly

This is what happens when you make reckless challenges at the wrong time. He came in very hard at the exact point his foot planted going the other direction. This is why straight reds are given. It can happen to anyone.

Wow, what a terrible tackle by Mullan. Zakuani won't be playing anytime soon... it's hard to consider that a win.

Quite unfortunate for Zakuani and Mullan... First off... Mullan is not a dirty player... He never has... Looking at the replay, it was just an unfortunate timing for both footballers...

A result is a result but I expect more from both clubs... Specially the defending MLS Champions...

Mullan went in way too hard. At 00:46 he goes down and appeals for a foul, and when it isn't awarded he gets up and charges Zak...
I agree he's not usually a dirty player, but that was a brutal tackle. The least he can do is chip in for hospital bills...

Because Colorado is the defending MLS Champions... Yes they were a man down... But I've seen them pull it off before... OK... Maybe I'm a little bit hard on them...

Also, Seattle were playing awful. They were clearly shaken by the injury and were off their game. Colorado actually had long spells of possession. They should have done better.
