Devang, I don't think that, with 8 games played, Liverpool (or any other team for that matter) can be written off. They have been mediocre at best at the season's start but just look at the Yankees: a terrible start and now they're in the Playoffs. Don't lose hope!

if Torres had a better performance, we could win the game. we ve already dominated game, actually there s only one team in the field who want to play football. But boring italian football mentality scored off

Nice try saying Liverpool was the only team playing but Chelsea was the only team scoring and thus the win for the Blues. Our defence completely shut down Torres, he didn't have a choice in the matter. Have fun watching your team struggle through this season, and uh oh yeah Gerrard is injured too. You don't have anybody to replace him.

chelsea play well against us and came out the winner. But i dont think we are going to watch liverpool struggle, wait for jan and you will see who will struggle, btw if gerard was missing from any team they would miss him, there's only one gerard!

I agree Gerrard is irreplacable and I'm not a hater of Liverpool but I do think they will struggle this year...especially if Gerrard is out for any amount of time. Chelsea has the depth to withstand the departure of its African members in January and the schedule is not a tough one in January. Hull, Sunderland, Birmingham and Burnley. No big four teams in January...I'm not worried.

Drogba is better in a way that he can hold the ball better, especially high ball coming in. The switching of play between Anelka and Drogba from both wings to centre forward is amazing. Defenders are left with diffculties in marking them. For this round, Drogba didn't match torres as a striker, because he played more as a winger.
