Well played Chivas.
yee
Chill out people, this is just a friendly. Man U full squad would have killed Chivas.
There is no need to stress about results in pre-season friendlies but Chivas have an excellent team, one of the best in South America. At the moment they have a good chance to reach the final of the Copa Libertadores (South America's Champions League). They play 2nd leg of the semi vs Universidad de Chile on Wednesday. (1st leg ended 1-1.) The two Brazilian teams Internacional and Sao Paulo in the other semi. We've seen in the past how the best South American teams clearly can match the best European teams, so there's no reason to go all suicidal over loosing a friendly vs C.D. Guadalajara.
Thank you nice to see someone give some respect to us
People forget that chivas is a great team, not only in Mexico but we always represent in international matches. Also worth mentioning teams from the city of Guadalajara have made great players such as Chicharito(Man U), Vela(Arsenal), Salcido(PSV), Maza Rodrigues(PSV), Marquez(Barca), Pardo (Stuttgart)
First and foremost Chivas is not from South America we are in North AMerica, and to Danmx it has Chicharito and Vela came from the Pachuca FC youth academy so you have to give them the credit for they created the player and you guys do is make money of them.
Small technicalities. Still for the past few years Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol have also included Mexican teams in Copa Libertadores.
Both Chicharito and Vela were made at Guadalajara......

yo wtf is wrong with united
it was the heat
it's only a preseason friendly, i wouldn't worry to much about it for now. fitness is the main concern.
we need 2 sort out the defence
preseason, dude. preseason.
we are getting evra, neville and vidic back for the start of the season in addition to o'shea, fabio, rafael, evans, wes brown, de laet and smalling. rio is hurt but he'll be back soon enough. we are fine in terms of depth and talent for now. we were a little short handed today because we played evans and wes brown 2 days ago.
no no no, it was the heat
great game! thank you CD Chivas de Guadalajara
**great game! thank you CD Chivas de Guadalajara**

chelsea sucks
Is it just me or does anyone else think Rooney should be competing for a starting spot this preseason? He wasn't in form for the better part of last season and certainly was out of form during the world cup. Im betting SAF will give him the start when the season rolls around but with what he's shown me I could hardly say he deserves it. I dunno. Is he recovering from an injury still? The only news i've heard was about him boozing it up back in england talking about wanting to be a boxer.
i don't think rooney's ever been in form for england on the big stage.. it doesn't seem to affect his club play so i'm not the least bit worried. he'll be fine. i expect him to score against ireland xi actually.
nice game
even though we lost its still nice to see how our young ones play
7:04 Van der sar??????
STUPID GOALKEEPER MAN!!!!!!!
What a great friendly game. i wonder how well Chicharito will play in the EPL.
chivas squad are so loaded with young promising talent
i was thinking this when watching chicha highlights right after he was signed...they have a great young squad, full of pace and attacking mentality. they are good at crossing/ passing especially.
Look after Omar Arellano a great winger, in my opinion the next big signing
United fans blaming the heat for this one as well?
no man you gotta be more creative than that. this time it's because we are still getting our fitness up.. we just played 2 days ago against mls. plus different time zone. it's always harder playing on a western time zone schedule.

no chivas played well, we didnt. end of story. dont worry, if you guys played chivas it would have been a massacre, right? all hail everton.
lol SoccerISfootball.... sweet burn!!! *thumbs up*
*yawn*
its great when Everton fans try to make points...
The fact Chicharito scored under those circumstances made this game so more dramatic. It's like taken out from a movie. =)
Chicharito has some talent all right =)
+1
thats some good ole Futbol Mexicano for ya
not that surprising given we were playing one centerback (20 yr old smallings) and a mifielder as his partner.

we gave away the ball too much, similar to the KC game, but im just glad chicha had a goal for his former team. i wonder what the reaction would have been had he scored against them? he beat the keeper once and maybe should have scored 1-2 more times.
haha go check the age avg on the Chivas team. Most all are as young as Smalling or around there.
