Ricardo Vaz Te, what a deal at half a million pounds!!!
the hammers are back! at their first shot at comeback! yeah yeah yeah!
COYI!!
Delighted with the win. It didn't matter how we won. In these games it just matters that you win. To be honest Blackpool did have the far better chances and we had our let offs. I think the underdogs tag and the wider Wembley pitch suited blackpool. Our performance was below par and not to the high standards we had set in recent weeks. However there were some great performers too. Cole was immense and silenced several critics. Tomkins was outstanding and Vaz Te despite missing some good chances kept his head up and popped up with the winner.

It's a shame to hear the sour grapes from Baptiste. Ironic that he criticised some of our long balls when Blackpool's equaliser came from a long ball. He may have forgotten that when we played a couple of months back we outplayed and outpassed Blackpool with 10 men and a midfielder playing in goal for the whole of the 2nd half to cap off a 4-1 win.

In summary nobody can argue West Ham deserved to go up. We beat Blackpool 10-2 over the 2 league games this season and finished 11 points ahead of them. How can anyone possibly argue 'pool deserve to go up instead?

Anyway good luck to Blackpool next season. I think your chairman should give holloway a bit of money because he has earnt it.

Up the Irons !!
sorry.. it was 8-1 over the 2 league games.. 10 - 2 over the 3 games

really enjoyed the day blackpool need to put away there chances i have watched nearly every game and i am proud to be a pool fan ,,,,blackpool were not ready for prem this year but money would of been nice,,,,,now west ham utd you are f*****g disgrace as a set of football fans ,you sang once the whole of the second half you are not a close unit of fans ...50 year old blokes in the bpool end dressed like they would in the 70s in jeans white shirts an doc martin shoes. starting fights in front of all those kids and women ,,football hooligans are out dated its a family thing now ,,,,i know you were out numbered but you got your arses kicked all the way down the exit...man for man you are not as tough as you think you are,,,,, your fans are f*****g disgrace but good luck to the players

It's a shame you say this about our fans. I was at the game and it looked like our fans were getting on very well before the match. Of course we have some idiots as does every club. I've also seen videos of violence by Blackpool fans, so don't pin this only on us.

As for the singing we were singing for the majority of the 1st half while you lot were silent. Then you scored early in the 2nd half and started the predictable you're not singing anymore. That was the fist time we heard you all game. You are right that we were very quiet in the 2nd half but that's because there was a lot of tension in our end. We really thought we were going to lose because Blackpool were over running us in midfield. There were a lot of nerves. Sometimes when you're that nervous it's hard to break into song. Remember we had a lot more to lose than Blackpool because of our high wages and the expectations.

Anyway for what it's worth I like Blackpool. Holloway was very gracious in defeat and many managers could learn something from him. Good luck for next season

not all your supporters are pricks but to many think they should be an extra in football factory,,yes pool have some hooligans an they should f**k off aswell its outdated in front of kids anyway,,,bpool didnt fill there end this year cos listening to the media you were going to hammer us and its on average 175 pounds for the day which is alot so most watched it on tv..and you didnt have alot more to lose than bpool your club is run incorrect if you pay massive wages to below average players ,you need at least five more players, bpool were not ready to go up and they play more attractive football than west ham, i know you beat us over two games but we were s**t in both,,if you are honest neither southhampton or west ham play the type of football you need to stay in premiere league but you went up so well done but if you dont change you will be down again ,i like big sam so once again good luck ,,,and for next time pool an west ham meet please please learn another song

i´ve often said the best thing about supporting west ham is the support.. but it´s also the worst thing. It´s the best because of the amazing loyalty west ham fans have shown the team down the years. It´s the worst because we have an small element of fans who cause trouble. We are also I believe the only team to boo our team off the pitch after a victory because the football wasn´t good enough. Don´t tell me about playing attractive football. Historically West Ham are famous for it.. not Blackpool. That is why Sam Allardyce has called our fans deluded. There probably has never been a team that has gone up to the premier league with so many discontented fans. I would point out though that the football is not as ugly as the media make it out to be. At times this season we have played some great passing football although I admit this has been few and far between. What you say about this style of football not being good enough to stay in the premier league.

ARE YOU FOR REAL???? HAHAHAHA

Didn´t Blackpool and West Ham both get relegated last season because they were pretty on the eye but not particularly good? Haven´t Stoke city been in the premier league for several seasons just playing long ball football? If anything, this ugly style of football means we have a better chance of staying up. However, I have a feeling Big Sam won´t be at West Ham for very long. The relationship between him and the fans hasn´t been good and I can see him packing his bags at some point.

As for the songs. Yes we sing bubbles a lot. But at least we are famous for having our own song. Name another club with an anthem that is as old and only to be associated with their club? Anyway we sang many many other songs at wembley. All I heard from Blackpool was the chant of sea sea seasiders. We definately sang a lot more songs that you lot did.

Anyway, best of luck

i am not here to slag ya team you won and thats it,but that team is not as good as the one that went down,,i personally think you will be down again but i hope not..and as for the pool fans not singing there were far to many of your trouble causing fans amongst the pool fans so it made all the young lads women and kids nervous. there were more than you could quite obviously see.well good luck for next year but no matter how you dress it up where ever west ham go they are only ever remembered for one thing thats trouble not good football, which is a shame because its quite clear you are not in that bracket. once again good luck an dont do a blackburn an sack sam an get a knob in,,all the best
Congrats to West Ham. No credit should be taken away from Blackpool for getting this far though, they had a great game and pushed the Hammers to the very end of the season.

Baps is just the most epic center-back I've seen... Phil Jones could learn a thing or two from this guy.
Well done you Irons!
Up Up the Hammers !!!
Vaz Te! Beautiful goal! Beautiful celebration! Tangerines for promotion next year!!!!
Congrats to West Ham, a deserved return to the EPL. So close for Blackpool. Holloway had them again fighting above their weight. I miss having him and the tangerines in the top flight.
well done west ham.
Great to see West Ham back in the BPL, congrats!
Simply love seeing the players so happy! It all came down to this match an year of hard work. Glad with won it! Love the hammers!
