Jimmy L... 'west ham are a much better team than birmingham'

Lets be honest you let slip a 3-1 lead! in less than 55 Minuests blues turned westham over an your hole team panicked... How is Carrs challenge a foul he clearly won the ball... he slid in hard but won the ball. you lot ave been heading down and out of the prem for a while i hope this year doesnt dissapoint yet again, but goin on that team performance i clearly have nothing to worry about. Up the blues!
Even with the weird decisions by the ref, the game was very good.
I would just like to add that Howard Webb was a disgrace yet again last night. Dyer was fouled for Birmingham's winning goal. Ferguson kicks out at Dyer earlier in the game (exactly what Obinna got sent off for in the first leg) and just gets a yellow card. Birmingham think they should have had a penalty.Ummm.. when the ball hits the shoulder it's not a penalty. However when you bring Dyer down in the box without winning the ball that is a penalty. Refereeing decisions going against West Ham yet again. We are a much better team than Birmingham. Even without so many players last night, such as Obinna, Piquionne, Hitzlsperger Collison, Jacobson and Da Costa. All first team starters.
Avram Grant... PLEASE LEAVE !!! The man baffles me more and more each game. Freddie Sears has been in excellent form in the last month. He drops him for the last 2 games for no apparent reason and then last night he brings on players like O Neil, Kieron ( I can't believe these fools are still paying me when I should have retired)Dyer and Benny (50 burgers a day) McCarthy. The man makes ridiculous decisions every game and it's costing us. We are not the worst team in the league. We showed this with how we dominated Everton and in the first half dominated Birmingham. However when you have a clown in charge what chance have you got ?
I would have liked the hammers won the match and go to Wembley.Every day that passes,I hate birmingham more and more.
Awesome goal by Cole, after the chance that deflected off the post, it was a blue tidal wave. Gardner was so determined to get that goal! , Lee Bowyers was great too, and Rogers' was a bullet header. Congrats on going to Wembley Brum!
Great game! Very intense on the pitch and in the stands 80's style.

BTW that's the second time they are troubles this month at St Andrews after the pitch invasion at the end of the Aston Villa game.
agreed
Fair play to Birmingham but Green should have done better with the 2nd and 3rd goals. It's a shame he doesn't bring the same form to games like these that he does against opposition like Arsenal!
Two different teams at both halves. Grant can't push them to the limit. Benny as a sub? joke really.. Still proud of getting this far and thrashing Man u 4-0. Good Final everyone!

Not a bad game by any standard. Congrats to Birmingham for getting to the final! :)
Everyone was with the Hammers, I think because of their underdog status.

Now I can't wait for Arsenal to win a long-denied silverware. Double perhaps? Although United are on fire.

were you affraid of Hammers in the final?
God damn...

wanted West Ham to win, beat Arsenal... and then get relegated...

Europa League needs more Championship teams.
