Good saves by Howard and Given this game, Bent got goal good for them and Astonvilla fans, and then Everton get one back, Donovan with a fantastic pass to Anichebe to finish it in, I mean sure it was close to offside but what a pass and finish

What surprises me most is how assured Donovan looked. To just walk in to one of the worlds toughest leagues and play as well as that in your first game. It looks effortless for him!

For years Given has been one of the best and most underappreciated keepers around; too bad Guzan is stuck behind him. Everton deserved a PK. Well done Donovan; two amazing passes.
