Brentford defence spent the entire 90mins marking Demba Ba, and he happily played along drawing them away. They forgot about the 10 other players on the pitch incliding the tricky Oscar & clinical Lampard chasing the top record.. both allowed to lurk freely around the penalty box. Game plan backfiring big time!

Lukaku will become Chelseas main Striker believe me, Tall and Strong and good shooter!... I also think Chelseas pitch makes it harder for Strikers like Ba and Torres maybe..it just seems so small like they cant even make a propa run for a through ball or cross before keeper gets it. I mean no disrespect to Stamford Bridge but they need a bigger pitch i wouldnt be suprised if Torres has scored more away than home goals

Ya I think Lukaku will do well, and I do think that Chelsea's playing style a long with maybe your suggestion on the pitch being too small being a factor never thought of it that way but you could be right cause the strikers barely get the ball alot times, not just torres even ba like in this game.

we need to play oscar more often he has the intellectual ability to create something out of nothing...
ramires and moses = outside right position
hazard and marin = outside left position
oscar and mata = behind the striker attacking midfield
Ba and torres = striking position
mikel,lampard,luiz= midfield
any rotation is good for defense but i still preferred terry

you see, Chelsea scored 4 but Ba neither scored nor provided any assist... the problem is not entirely in Torres, the way chelsea plays makes it difficult for a talented semi-poacher striker to be productive, Shevchenko, Crespo and now Torres... Drogba was different, he was a beast...

Torres has lost his movement, and his instinct to score. He rarely moves in the box to create space for himself which makes it difficult for others to find space behind him.

Moses is the only real player that creates chances for Torres. He sees where torres is, plays a ball to him, and torres 6 out of 10 times puts it in the back of the net. We need more players like Moses.
