you had a good season but columbus is better
Hell of a season Sounders, my blood runs green 'til I die! Can't wait for next year, hopefully both of the Fred(d)y's hang around, or maybe another int'l star?
Not only does Seattle need Montero to stay, but so does MLS. It's obvious he's good enough to play for higher level leagues, but I'm really hopeful he stays and more talent comes to MLS.
He also won "Best Newcomer" in MLS.
I also, obviously, would love Ljungberg to stay, which I think he will.

I'd love to see most of our team stay. You always hear coaches say similar things about keeping continuity, but since the end of the season, the more that I think I'd like MOST of our team to stay the same. Some change would I think be good:
-More depth in the middle of the pitch, with a truly skilled CAM.
-A third striker to take some of the heat off of our two.
-The previous option could also involve acquiring or trading for someone better than who we had this year. (Whether that be from a Montero move or from a Lumbering Jaqua transfer...)

From Seattle Times about Ljungberg:
"The Sounders FC designated player also wouldn't fully commit to a return to the team next season, but reiterated that he loves the city and hopes to be back. He'll consider playing for another club in Europe before the next MLS season."

I'm definitely expecting a similar to Becks situation. It'll be interesting to watch and I definitely wish him and his 1.3 million dollars the best!
he'll be back. he's not beckham. he may get loaned out (although i'm not sold on that. he may be great in the mls, but the epl is alot better than the mls), but he'll be back. after next year though, i don't know
