You know with everyone riding on a high and still enjoying the post clasico feel good vibes (watched the game 4 times already lol)

I am so happy for Carletto who put things in perspective in todays pre La Liga press conf. He stated after a string of victories the team must now find a way to continue that form, and post clasico is one of those times that the squad going away to a tough pitch in Granada demands the utmost care.

If all players are fit I would start the same 11 as the clasico.

Not trying to be a troll or start an argument, but this is some funny s**t. https://twitter.com/CuleLogic/status/526055577898598401

The plot thickens...

Have mercy on my poor soul. I couldnt stop laughing for 2 minutes.

Benzemas like: omg ive seen a ghost

Speaking of penalties, it's quite interesting how both Madridista's and Cules have different perspectives on penalties.

Madridista's will poke fun at Lionel Messi for missing a penalty, whereas the Cules will take to the streets ridiculing Cristiano Ronaldo for scoring them.

Strange world we live in.
+9
^ you said it. One miss penalties while the other scores them, who should be making fun of who??
+1

+1
@Asasiyun I assure you whenever Ronaldo misses penalties we'll be there to do the needful :-P
+1
Just for the record, i hate penalty kicks. Unless its a red card offense or blatant handball i think they could be direct kicks in the box otherwise( walls allowed).

I love Varane as much as the next guy, but why does everyone feel he has to be starting? At the moment Ramos and Pepe are perfoming at a very high level, it makes no sense to bench them.

I think we can agree Varane is perhaps the best young defender around, and also has potential that's crazy for his age. His maturity is imo higher than Ramos', but at the moment I'd hope Ramos and Pepe keep it up.
Personally, to keep calling Varane the best 'young defender' is almost an insult. I take offense. It'd be like calling Messi the best Argentinian player in the world. I'm pretty sure he's transcended that label long ago.

I already thought he was one of the top CBs in the world before his injury and now that he's recovered his form he's back at that top echelon of world class CBs.

People get caught up in his age. Its like they can't accept someone that young can be that good. I don't care about age. I care about performance and what i saw/see is a CB thats basically untouchable when fully healthy.

Raul decided to continue playing football and has signed for New York Cosmos today!

http://www.nycosmos.com/home

It should also be added that this is the same team where Pele and Beckenbauer ended their careers. I'm so glad we'll have a chance to see him play at least a little more, and the games will be covered much more now then when he was is Al Sadd. I'll definitely keep you posted on his performances lol
+3
raul has so much experience to his game. i bet he can play in a epl team and perform good, his fitness he also high for his age
Hmm I read somewhere that he turned down a chance to become, I think, Real Madrid's technical director to play for Cosmos..
Raul! The living legend of Madrid
+2
can't wait to go and see him play.
+1
Messi didn't even win Barça player of the year...
+2
Apparently dhockey hasn't listened to Tanmay whatsoever.

However I could agree that others in madrid have been more vital than ronaldo at times and deserve recognition. But thats not what realfans post was about. And im unaware of any trophies madrid has made in order to pacify ronaldo

And finally, although i missed many of barcelonas games, i still think messi is most deserving of their player of the year. Mascherano has been great. He should be played in midfield i think.

+3
Danny414 ....lol I spit out my orange juice by your first line.

Lol Malik! To answer your question Red1, as Niru said, only mods can embed images. But if you want something embedded post the link on my wall. Appropriate material only of course.
holy crap was so exited by the prospect of posting picture messages on this forum espacialy on facebook just catching up with this stuff so much appreciated shelsea61 will surely do thanks for comment niru
Apparently, Malik thinks he's too cool to post html's. :P
I felt that too someone has made me sound foolish after all Malik?
I didn't manage to catch the game earlier today. So was Varane playing as CF today? lol

Corners. Beast mode

I think we should sign Chicharito and use him as a back up to Benzema.

Who are we kidding here, Benzema is PERFECT for us. He links brilliantly with Bale and Ronaldo, and can be deadly in finishing when needed. A lot of Madrid fans might not like him, but hes ideal for us.
+2
I dunno about that. They'd be better off re-signing Paco or Rodrigo
We need two strikers. Chicha is good but im not sure hes the perfect alternate striker. Having bez and higs was great.

Having two world class players at every position is a dream. But getting as close to this as possible allows a team to compete for everything
"A lot of Madrid fans might not like him"

Pretty sure a month ago you were part of that lot.

Don't worry I'll remember these posts when the switch flips again.
+9
^ XD be easy on him, I am sure his account got hacked
+4
lol... realfan

your post simply explains how a few category of madrid fans feel about Benzema.. simply confused.
majority of the other says he is not good enough to be a Centre forward (including me)

dude benzema does not suit madrid pattern and the only reason many fail to see it is simply becos he does not have any competition

i am very certain Chicarito will score more goals than benzema this season, esp compared to minutes played. but even Hernandez is just good for us as a regular substitute not a starting striker

Real madrid needs a beast upfront, a complete No. 9 just like Suarez (except with the biting)
...if real madrid need pplo to link up ronaldo and bale, they have enough of that in the midfield.. isco, rodriguez, modric, kroos...

i only wish Jese Rodriguez didn't get this nasty injury, i am pretty sure benzema will not be playing right now if Jese was fit and still maintained that amazing form he had prior to his injury
+1
Haha, you guys are right. In 2 weeks when he plays like utter s**t I will be the first to criticize him :P
"when he plays like utter s**t"

Translation: when he plays his regular everyday game but doesn't get on the scoresheet.
+5
Have to agree with you Kingleo. We Madrid fans at times don't appreciate players and are too quick to criticise, although I feel almost every big club is guilty of this.

Pretty solid shifts put in from your defenders so far
+4
Embedding, embedding everywhere.

Varane is a magnificent beauty. Its insane how much talent we have.

Sometimes i think about if di maria and alonso had stayed wed have too much

Anyway varane might hopefully be played in our starting la liga and cl 11
+3
By the way what do you guys think of giving Ancelotti a new contract his current on expires in 2016 personally I think he deserves it!
