Good on Thiago. Speaking of Canales, quite a shame how his career has progressed so far. He was Spain brightest talent in his days at Racing, and coupled with a few serious injuries, he's not the same player at all. I remember watching a few of his Racing matches, and he was quite elegant with the ball. Was really fun to watch.
I told you guys before the tournament to keep an eye on Morata (pace, good off the ball movement, strength and skill is a great combo) and I hope he'll be given more of a chance next season as Madrid's striker. I feel he can become a lesser gifted Ronaldo-like player. Carvajal has been very good at Leverkusen too, and Jesé is still the exciting prospect he's always been. Then there's Varane, a new manager and a new signing or two and we will hear the bells of a new exciting era for Madrid! I'm looking forward to healthy rivalry again.
Best of luck next season, but not too much ;)

I think that was a funny compliment from Hunsijoo. It's true, Jeroen's a great Cule.
@Jeroen
Thanks for the compliment. I hope Isco will be added to that list as well. :)

Btw, even if Thiago scores another goal, it won't be enough to win the Golden Boot, as Alvaro Morata (4) would have played less minutes.
Why are you comparing players? Stop being Jealous. I haven't seen one Barcelona fan who was not happy for Morata. If anything, some of us were more happy then you guys. Enjoy the win, don't compare. Especially a midfielder to a forward.
how on earth am I comparing? Its a fact. I was pointing to a statistic. Take a look at my twitter, I've given him LOADS of credit which he deserves. Goodness me, did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning or something? Geesh
Of the 5 appearances, he only started 2 of them. I think he played a total of 300 minutes? 4 goals and 2 assists isn't bad at all. A couple of his goals were significant as well - the ones against Russia and Germany come to mind as they were game winners.
I'm so happy for him. And I love how Perez said he'd like to see Morata on the first team next season. It all depends on whether we sign a superstar striker. If we do, Morata will leave.

First half he was the brains of Italy, he is a creator. And I was very impressed with him all of his touches were solid but he was left alone pretty much.
morata isco thiago definitely look to be future stars. i am impressed with koke montoya and batra too.
Bartra? I don't really have much expectation on him to be honest. I think Inigo is a more solid CB, all things considered. I can see Inigo breaking into the Spanish squad quite early if he's able to maintain his performances at club level AND stay out of trouble.
Morata's future will depend on how we deal with him. Whether we choose to invest time in him or not, will influence where his career ends up. I certainly want Morata to be given a more prominent role on the squad next season.
Thiago is definitely a player to watch out for in the future, as is Llarramendi. And Isco? My goodness, no one can keep up with him!

Its a damn shame the most voted best Bundesliga defender of the season Daniel Carvajal, newest signing for Real Madrid, cant even making the starting 11 for Spain U-21 #SpainLogic
Cavajal doesn't start because Montoya has been awesome and Carvajal has almost no experience at the U21 team, he can't become a starter all of a sudden in an international tournament.

he hasnt shown his quality in spain yet. i am sure he will get a chance. montoya is also a good player too
Hmm you joined yesterday. I wonder if you started watching football yesterday too cause Montoya had been amazing. But I guess you know more than the Spanish management.
Really? You tell me to leave this page and then call me stupid?? lol what an argument you have there. Bravo!
you are entitled to your opinion. No one needs to question my years watching football. Simply stating Carvajal, should be given a chance, just like Montoya was given.
On all La Liga pages, seniority and experience trumps youthful cockiness and arrogance, independent of which club you support.
Like @SanchezAlexis said, you just joined yesterday, so you're the only one that you can ask to leave this page.

bolton? You are here because?
You are the one questioning my football knowledge. You went and flipped it overboard. I just continued. Carvajal > Montoya in my opinion

Football knowledge? The match is 4-1.
So whatever the Spanish gaffer did that's completely opposite to what you want is actually the correct and more knowledgable decision.

Keep it as civil as possible guys.
In my opinion, Carvajal is a better player than Montoya, and I'm sure most would agree. Montoya barely got an adequate amount of games for Barcelona this season - surely too little considering Alves' uncharacteristic performances, whereas Carvajal was setting the Bundesliga on fire.
However, in Spain, and sometimes in Germany as well, players are selected in terms of familiarity. There is a reason why a player like Tello is starting over Muniain, or even Sarabia, for that matter.
Montoya has experience with this squad. He's familiar with the players as they are familiar with him. Carvajal is new, and despite being a better player, he has not developed a solid understanding with the squad yet.
