Ramos is being rested and Modric is out for Eibar as well. Isco will start the match,so that's a nice addition.

Is Zizou being smart for resting players so much or is this too big of a risk? He's been rotating heavily, he never fielded that same starting XI since the start of the season. I we can survive now,I think the risk can pay off in long term.
When we won the treble, I believe Lucho didn't have the same starting XI till about January. Zizou will get a lot of stick now but you guys will appreciate it later on.
Big Benz needs to be involved in some other scandal so he can find his mojo and bang in those goals
Might as well go into Tax. Hear it's quite popular these days :p
^Mi4ht 4s well join b4rcelon4!!
Carlo falls victim to Atletico yet again lol

I love this man,he's my favorite manager of all time, but he can really be suborn. Every time we played Atletico under him we played the same way. Now he continues with Bayern. Simeona has a nightmare team for Carlos philosophy.
It don't matter what you do. If Atleti find an early goal against you at the Calderon, good luck scoring against them. Their tough to break and that defense of theirs gets better season after season. You'd think they'd struggle with Miranda leaving but they have Gimenez, Savic and Lucas Hernandez who are some top young CBs imo. Even on their off days for example against Barca, they still managed to get a draw at the Nou Camp.

Honestly, they are something special. Simone leaving La liga would be a big mistake. His brought up not only the 3rd strongest team in la liga but one of the top 4 teams in the entire world.
It's not only Carlo. It's anyone. Atletico IS the best defensive team in the world.
Having Filipe Luis and Juanfran as fullbacks helps quite a bit. Arguably they're just as important to the team as Godin, if not more considering they contribute so much to the team both offensively and defensively.
I think Kiko should start more until Navas gets back to full fitness.
1 mistake and he shouldn't start????
I think Morata should start over Benzema until big Benz gets his fitness to 100%.
He's clearly not fit yet. I don't think Zizou should have started him so soon after coming back and Kiko has been great so far.

I also agree about Morata. He should start over Benz until he finds his form.
I'm not sure why you guys are disappointed, having a draw against BVB at their home turf is difficult itself. I say take it and win against them at Bernabue.

The thing is we had the win,but we couldn't hold on to it...again.
+1
I thought they were the better side for the majority of the game. We're lucky to get a draw.

Hope we can get a result in the Bernabeu or out with Zizou!

jk
I wouldn't say we were lucky.

BVB took the initiative and kept the ball well throughout large portions of the match, as was expected. This is, after all, the second best club in Germany supported by one of the most hostile environments in Europe.

But we were far from "lucky".

If anything, we were quite unlucky to concede twice in the manner that we did.

We had many opportunities to punish their utilization of a high press, but failed to do so on numerous occasions. The Germans really could not keep up with our counter-attacking strategy and were forced into making many technical fouls, attempting to stifle our play.

This was by no means a completely assured performance by our men. In what is becoming characteristic fashion, we decided that a victory would have made for a boring plot, so as a means of emulating your average 'telenovela', we decided to needlessly complicate things for ourselves.

That being said, the performance was still good enough to cause some serious damage to the Germans had we been a bit more lucky.

Prior to the match, many including myself would have considered a draw a decent result. But looking back at the match, and how it developed, one can't help but feel a little hard done by for having missed the opportunity to secure three vital points.
beyond horrible defending in the start of this season.. crazy poor

Danilo lets pulisic run towards the INSIDE of him.... and then he falls down by himself, opening a corridor for BVB.... then carvajal tries to chest the ball rather than heading that s**t out of the box.. and navas has shurle on his weak foot with only one place to go and concedes the goal on his near post anyways.....

Navas had a poor game to me. punching every easy ball away, looked uncertain all game..... he made some saves but when ur a keeper and you concede 2 goals, 1 being 100% your fault alone and the other one you sharing 50% of the blame, then you've had a poor match.

The only bright side for me today is that we are the ones feeling mad for not taking all three points. Gotze posted on facebook "IT'S NOT EASY TO DEFEAT US ;)"... which is good for us because it shows the difference between the two teams... you just fortunately drew at home and still have to play 2 of the toughest games of the group stages away... lol STFU.

http://tinyurl.com/zl7sjwe

but i guess its our fault. We once again failed to see the mission through and let these teams back into the match not once.. but twice.. IN TWO MATCHES STRAIGHT.

chokes
Navas was at fault for first goal , but he did had some good 3-4 saves alone in 2ND half.

I think the scoreline could have been easy worse for real if Navas was still out.
lets not exaggerate... it was 2 saves.. Pulisic and Guerrero.. both were basic saves shot directly at him.
+3
I agree with DaGaza. It was a typical shot which he should have caught a couple of them but instead he was trying to make it look dance and punch it out.
It was his first game after injury.zidane has to take the blame for playing him after a relatively long injury in an important match.
Lame...just hold the lead for once shm...

Positive:

- Varane had a beast game, too bad about that mistake from Navas that deflected of him
- Modric was amazing
- Although he cost us the first goal,Navas saved our asses later on
- Ronaldo was much better than last game, but that's still not his level

Negatives:

- Ramos at it again
- James is lost in midfield,we should not use his there again
- Bale was just doing the same thing over, running to the corner flag and then not knowing what to do
- Benzema...I will never be convinced his good enough to bet he starting striker for a team like Real Madrid.

P.S. I hope the Casemiro doubters are now seeing the difference he makes.
+1
No-one doubts Case, we doubt everyone else bar Mods, Varane and Vasquez.
Oh there is definitely at least one guy that doesn't rate casemiro on this page/forum
With Miro you find hard to score ,and without him you find hard to hold the lead, that's the difference here, lol.

Jokes aside,he is very important to current Madrid, but his presence automatically subduing offensive tactics.
Casemiro is not the reason why we have trouble scoring,it's the misfiring BBC. Ronaldo is coming back from injure,Bale has been terrible recently,Benzema has been at his worst, but he's also been injured for a long time.

When our attackers start doing their jobs, It will be clear that Casemiro is not the problem.
I guess Casemiro could have avoided Keylor's mistake just by using his mind. lol

Despite the fact everyone makes a concerted effort to pretend Kroos isn't playing awesome, he is.

To equate Madrid drawing to missing Casemiro is just superficial and lazy analysis. Madrid miss Marcelo more, for example.

Madrid problems these last few games are elsewhere. Starting with the bald dude on the bench.

I will say this. Casemiro would have been a good sub in the last minutes of the last two games.

Which is what I've always maintained: Casemiro is a good squad player, horrible starter.
Extremely leaky defense.

I dont think there is a team on this planet that makes it easier for others to score with unforced errors then Real Madrid.
