Okay I need to say something.

None of us here or on the United chat know Di Maria personally, so to call him a money grabbing loser is insulting. We only know what MARCA , AS and Perez have told us. What he did to United is what Modric and Bale did to Spurs but no one call them names...

So back off and just move on.
if he was supposed to be at training and refused then he's an unprofessional sob, that much is certain.
Marco Asensio and Mayoral joins the squad for the first time and we could possibly see them in the next couple of games.

Khedira got injured and he will be out for 2 months and will miss the beginning of the season for Juventus. This guy just can't get a break,I feel bad for him :(

kinda frightening when u realize that we are very very likely to fail in getting all 3 points in our first La Liga game of the season...

Away form home to Sporting Gijon... not an easy ground to start your season...
Out of curiosity how happy would you guys be if Benzema leaves us this window?
Cant afford to lose him. Unless aguero and morata (unlikely) or other fwds come unlikely
We don't even have a backup striker right now lol. No way we can sell him at this time, but if we could get Aguero for example,I would be fin with him sitting on the bench or going to another club.
if we get aguero or lewandowski then i wont complain...otherwise im not gonna be cool with it :)
Can't sell him.he is very important for the team

i will sooo scream with JOY!!

its high time we loose the weight.

..but hey, who will be the one to wear the No.9 jersey for us
though the way we play we don't need the worlds best striker.

All we need is a poacher who will convert almost every chance he gets to a goal
+1
^Should've brought Chicha when you had the chance lol
Di Maria you beauty... Trolled those suckers big time LMAO

Lets be honest for a second - it was a big step down going from RM to there :P

Did they really expect him to be motivated to play for them? Going from winning UCL and competing for all trophies Vs. fighting for top 4... tsk tsk

Or he just went for more money in PSG. He left us for money, and I'm pretty sue money had a big part(if not decisive) in his decision this time to.
+1
It's a bit of a cowards way out, he struggled last season and now he's just running away.
+2
Oh Pevjl come on man! Di Maria didn't leave because of the money.
I think it was money and the threat of losing his spot.
He was on the bench ever since that fa cup red card in the arsenal game. He never recovered that early season form and I suppose he's had enough. I'm shocked at his behavior (he was due back for pre-season) and how he lied saying he was here for the long haul and to make history blah blah blah. Just before the copa he said he was not leaving. He's a liar, and he just pissed off the world's biggest fan base. He won't be able to show his face anywhere in the world without a utd fan potentially giving him s**t for how he's behaved.
+1
I for one think Di Maria had every right to leave. He was badly misused and not respected enough
+2
how was he misused and not respected enough? he got himself out of the starting lineup with his behavior (red card) and his form is what kept him out of the side.
+1
@Pejvl it was not money, rather respect, or lack of respect for him by RM.
+1
it's about money i think
only a year ago, when we said he would leave because he wanted more money in the new contract, many said it was due to lack of respect by Madrid lol
For Di Maria, respect is money. Every damn time a season ended while he was here, you would see his interviews where he talks about how he is not appreciated enough. To translate, appreciation = more money for him. His diving, inconsistency and greed have always been the reasons I could never fully embrace Di Maria. Fantastic player, no doubt, but be sure to raise "appreciation" for him every year he plays good.
+1
That's because even though he was one of the best players on the team and his significance and contribution was huge, Perez doesn't consider him a galactico.

Hineside is a wonderful thing; at the start of the season we would have been fighting on all front and rightly as SIF pointed out he never really recovered after the Arsenal game.

He lost his place to Ashley Young who had a very good season and showed he had the fight; Di Maria on the other hand chose to take the easy way out.

He was given every opportunity to shine and was often played in his preferred positions; I think there was one game where he was played as a striker; but that isn't really a bad thing. So really there is no excuse to use "he was played out of position".

By joining PSG he is essentially accepting an easier league since PSG are dominating 'Ligue 1' and he knows his place is not under threat. With Depay now joining united he would competing against two other players and from his later performances it would be unlikely he would be starting..
How do I appreciate my employee's work? By giving him a bonus or raise. If my employee sees me hiring new people for more salary than him even after he performs above expectations then he is bound to get distraught. It's normal behavior. I'm not sure why you guys think he should have just accepted whatever was offered to him. He has all the right to move on for more money. That's not just football, it's life.

Players sometimes also go where they feel they will not get criticized. Di maria wasn't going to fight for his place at united. When players sign promises are made. Then managers backtrack and players get disoriented. Lvg was right in benching adm and adm is right in moving on. You don't win the champs league and fight for a spot in a team at age 28 on a €10m a year salary. It might sound outrageous but most players behave like this.
Remember this clear dive in 2014. Ruined a great game iirc

Also does anyone remember which classico was a great match till ramos sendoff? Di maria was still here

If bale could find his 2014 form:
Danny414 varane pep celo
Moddy isco james
Bale
Benzema. Naldo

Just for fun

Back 4
Casemiro
James modric kroos isco
Ronaldo

retype ur number on realfan's or my wall please.. it seems to be incorrect or something.. and add the country code as well
Done
For a couple minutes during the ac milan game i think ronaldo could alternate into a messi or number ten role.

Id like it if our attack started like this

Cris. James bale
Benzema

And went to
James ronaldo bale
Benzema

And finally after 65 mins
James. Bale isco
Ronaldo
Bale on left side during the starting minutes is good as of me.but CR prefers the left wing more. It would be a great to have bale on centre after 65 mins,he can shoot long.my concern is how long can we keep isco out of starting 11.
The answer is to not keep Isco out of startong XI. I have a feeling he could be our main driving force this season. Him,Ronaldo,James and Bale(only is he regains his old self) will be the keys to breaking down teams.
Really interested to see what benitez does. Having cr7 around makes us spoiled cause he has new evolutions to his game every season to improve things.

Havent seen that from most of our players, namely benz and bale.

Modric has evovled tons, kroos adapted in one season, isco is ila headache to any team always, and varane is almost back to 2012 form after his injury
