I really hate to say this but..i told u so..lol i missed the game (fml) but i was expecting th game to ended 2-0..the coming game u can expect a 4-0 tho cuz bayern will have lot more pressure n we r gonna be stress relieved n with no pressure..hmm o wonder who our rival in tue finals will be..it will be pretty interesting to see who can beat the best team in the world..HALA MADRID!!
Not sure if you guys have seen this yet, but I just wanted to share. :)

Enjoy!

that di maria miss still haunts me
+1
Me too,lol CR7s too.
+3
CR7s looks easy but it's actually not, it came with so much speed and bouncing up and down, though he shouldve scored it. Marias is a goal and an easy one too but for some reason he blast it as if he's having fun in training or something. He could of also passed it to Benz who was open as well.
So seeing that both CR7 and Bale are fit the question now becomes what formation do we deploy to allow us that defensive cohesion while still allowing for very effective counters and making the best out of our passing out of the back.

The question now becomes who do we sit? ADM? moving Bale to more of right midfield position allowing him to maraud down the line and asking him to come back more to defend in a 4-4-2.

Or perhaps Karim allowing Bale and CR7 up top in the 4-4-2 with Isco and ADM in the midfield.

At least we have the flexibility to have these discussions on what is best to face the only two teams that really require such measures Barca & Bayern.

Someone ban this fool already before Pedmar starts attacking Messi and Barcelona because of him.
+1
this is the question everyone should be asking. It depends on Bale's ability to hold up play.

Benzema's role in Madrid isnt exactly glamorous but very necessary.

Eliminating him alienates our attacking players usually. But I would field

Ronaldo Bale

di maria modric isco
alonso
coentrao Varane Ramos Carv

bale will track back but be further advanced than the other mids

Di maria's pace will help us play out on the counter. Isco Modric and xabi to play key roles in defense and playmaking for throughballs and longballs
+1
Benzema must play. He's been the guy that links Bale and Ronaldo.
now im oscillating between dropping Benz and dropping Bale.

:/

start benz, sub on bale in 60th?
If Carlo doesn't play Bale and we lose its not going to be pretty in Madrid.
@SanchezAlexis, the guy's using the 2 teams that gives Real Madrid the most trouble. Why would I kick a team when it's down? Barcelona has been the measuring stick for Real for a long time now and now that Bayern has a similar style it's more than obvious to ask a ? knowing we've only got a 1 goal adv and going to a country where we've had 0 success for a long time.

All in all I'm glad that you took the time to remember me!!
No, play both!
I'd be worried about getting run over in midfield
"Problem is, Benzema isn't deployed to be a scorer. He is there to create goal scoring opportunities for Ronaldo and the other attackers. I don't know why people assume that a striker's only job is to score. Football has evolved from that era. Yes, he is there to score the occassional goal, but it isn't his primary duty"

@LastGraspWinner, ooooohh so because he's there to create goal scoring opportunities, and scoring goals isn't his primary duty, we shouldn't let stuff like this bother us right? because he's only there to score the occasional goal.

As much as i love Benz, I have to say, even Torres would hit those on target. They may go straight at the keeper and get saved, but they'll be on target at the least...

Benfica up 1-0 inside 2min Benfica 1- Juventus 0

Pogba looking real good for Juve.

Edit 73Min 1-1 Carlos Tevez

Damn what a goal!!84MIN 2-1 Lima Benfica

Another thing that has to be said...

Fabio Coentrao! Has been fantastic and should be the number 1 LB the rest of the way in the CL and I really dont want to see him go this summer.
+2
Sadly, he's going.
lol.. thts all i was thinkin' watching him yesterday.. 'this guy won't be sold cheap'
+1
^^^ and he shouldn't go cheap knowing what we paid for him,
you think we can get Alaba???:P
no.
+2
Like i said a while ago: if coentrao wasnt in madrid we would be buying him for sure haha.

- Two seasons ago, Bayern outplayed Real at this stage partly thanks to a star performance from Kroos, who combined intelligent passing with mobility and the ability to evade challenges. At the time, Real lacked that type of player – Alonso was not mobile enough, Sami Khedira not technical enough, and Mesut Özil's contributions too intermittent.
....But Modric has solved that issue. There was one perfect example of his role, shortly after Real had gone ahead, where he effortlessly skipped around Schweinsteiger's challenge before playing in Benzema on the left, who crossed for Ronaldo to blaze over.

- Real recorded only 28% of possession that makes Modric's 97% pass completion rate so impressive. Anyone can complete passes when their side are dominating but Modric's ability to find team-mates so consistently, when under pressure, proves he belongs at this level.

I took this from a post on the Guardian. if anyone doesn't understand how important modric is to us, you might now

100 percent correct

Peps tactics played right into our hands yesterday. Looking at next week you best believe we will see Müller and or Mario Götze in the starting line up in German. We need to stay tight but also I want to see the BBC start on Tuesday with Bale tracking back to help the midfield. If we score early they will start to press and the space will open up in behind. If we score twice game over in my mind. We score we advance!
yesterday, i actually didn't see a man of the match..

everybody played really well; some, maybe more than the others.. but they were all amazing. starting from Casillas to benzema.

i don't think the scoreline did justice to how the game went but thats due to bayerns over possession and doing nothing with it

...ronaldo is just returning from injury and i think if he scores this weekend, it will be a good confidence boost for him.

bale should have started and then substituted imo...

i thought our CB were really brillant... pepe was very alert and Ramos was just using his brain and not body this time
.. the most impressive was Isco and Coentrao combination to shot down the left wing.. i thought they did good.

Alonso, Casillas and Modric were the key players (not MOTM).. they were the reason we held grounds even being dominated by possession

Benzema got us the most important goal of his UCL career; its left for us to defend it and even take advantage of it away at germany
...di maria was good but i prefer him in the middle not in the wing

you could see the frustration in Pep's face.. it just showed his plan was defeated

but lets not get carried away, it won't be any easier in Germany and 1-0 is a lot of work to defend.. i'm just glad bayern didn't get an away goal.. it makes it a lot easier

we really need to be wary of Schweinstiger.. he is really the center of bayern's play
