ATLETI...JUST...WONT...F*CKING...DIE!

ahhhh!
You wouldn't expect them to drop points at the Calderon to Elche now would you?
@shazli

i watches the game... its like the third time they have been outplayed but still managed to win without conceding a goal... thats something you must admire but its annoying.. especially when ur praying they will drop points...

there are 4 games left....if they win 3 more games they win the league without having to even bother with the last game in Camp nou... luckily their next two games are away from home to Valencia and Levante.... two very tough away matches and between them they gotta play chelsea in the CL but atleti have conquered harder obstacles in the league this season.... with 4 games we need them to NOT win 2 of those gams, granted we win all our remaining 5 leagues matches... i think its still completely open and the chances of us winning la liga are 50/50 but atleti just get the job done... its annoying expecting them to fail this season
They've been very resilient in overcoming all of the hardships that have come their way. Were they to win the Liga, one could not complain.
Completely agreed with Asasiyun. They play the football of a great team and they have the mentality of a pack of starved wolves. They're ferocious as hell and even in their worst moments they fight as if their lives depend on it, always to come out on top. And if they'll win La Liga, it's deservedly so.

Gladiators.
Ronaldo and Marcelo completed the first part of the training with the rest of the team, and after that continued training individually.

http://www.realmadrid.com/noticias/2014/04/el-campeon-de-copa-regresa-a-los-entrenamientos

Great news for us,we will really need them both. Although there is no rush for Marcelo cause Coentrao is more than a good replacement for him,I would still love to see him play. Also I can't forget how we lost 2-1 in Germany against them last time because of Fabio's rash missed tackle.

As for Cristiano, Madrid is not the same without him. I still feel like i haven't watch him play for 6 months or something like that. I hope we'll have him back for the first game, rested and ready to secure the record for most goals in a season of CL, on our way to the finale.
Fabio looked so tired late that match. I thought Mou should have subbed Marcelo in for him but it never happened.

High level meeting at Nazi headquarters post Copa Del Rey LMAO;

Gareth Bale is a freak of nature. " Bale is not worth 100 million according to Madrid fans.. " Can ANYONE get this s**t out of my sight, Gareth Bale is worth what ever we payed for him, remember when Florentino was doing everything he could to try to get us Neymar ? LMAO, PRINCE OF WALES FTW :D

( more seriously, I'm actually pretty sure Bale is Ussain Bolt in some kind of weird costume like in https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRx3uK8A0SD7eUP3KNYujKxuZyg2TkUyX3O87YxwBl8X8F-_fMLEcrgX7Kr )

gareth bale is the perfect fit for madrid but that doesnt make the 100 million price tag justified.....dany levy just milked madrid as Florentino wanted to outclass barca buying neymar...i think madrid has to be a little more conservative in acquiring a player.......its like if madrid is interested in a player, the home club can increase his asking price at will and madrid is happy to pay more to get him.....madrid needs to find ways to acquire their targets cheaply which will only benefit the club......
+3
There really is no way in going about getting players in that manner seeing as that most Clubs insert the clause when they give them there raises that no club should be allowed to contact the player with out the express knowledge and sometimes permission.
Yeah and look at where that kind of philosophy got Arsenal?
If you want a player, pay whatever the selling club is asking for him and he's yours, otherwise somebody else will snatch him up and you're left with nothing
+2
Apparently Tottenham is an extremely hard club when it comes to negotiations.. just look at how long the bale and modric negotiations took, while Arsenal on the other hand let song go for just 20m.

@Gunners4mylifeh Clueless comment. Everything wrong.

Sherwood (Tottenham's current manager, and Arsenal supporter) said "Bale looks cheap now":
http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/104823/sherwood-gareth-bales-fee-looks-cheap-now

Levy said Bale wasn't for sale, and Perez only made an offer once he found out United wanted him:
http://www.football-espana.net/36439/perez-bale-was-cheap

IRONICALLY for you, Madrid wanted Neymar but Perez said Neymar's fee was too high (they didn't want to get "milked" by Neymar Sr):
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-05-28/neymar-was-too-expensive-for-real-madrid-to-sign-perez-says.html

Tottenham isn't hard to negotiate with. Au contraire, Perez is easy to negotiate with. Currently the best in the world BY FAR.

Speaking of milking, enjoy contract negotiations with Ozil Sr!

How real is it for us to win the league? With Atletico facing valencia and barca in the remainder of the season...
If we give 75% of our full performance in the remaining few games, we'd win all of them with a comfortable margain(except for the valencia game perhaps). but let's say we win all of the remaining games. then odds are the final game for Atleti against Barca is the title decider!

But I fear that if their final game against Barcelona is to prove critical, they might conspire against us since we're vastly the GREATEST rival for both teams.

But even if that happens(hopefully won't), i'd still be more than proud of our la liga season.
I'm pretty sure even if the last game was a title decider, we won't be able to beat Atletico. Atleast not when our players are performing like this.
Anyone find it funny how Neymar is scared shitless of Pepe? Acting tough in front of Coentrao then running away from Pepe. Yesterday was the second time (first was Brazil vs. Portugal).
+2
I might get some crap from my fellow Barca supporters, but I must say I hate seeing Neymar playing for us. He hasnt been performing the way he was expected and also constantly seems to find himself in some conflicts every match, not mention cries every time he is touched. Dude needs to grow up and realize he isnt in Brazil where he was the king.
+11
If we had a player like him play for Madrid I'd be very disappointed as well. Kudos for not blindly sticking up to him and realizing his faults. Kid's got enormous talent but just needs to grow some balls. No need to be the center of attention.
I think we can all agree that we hate divers, but suppose then we have a striker who doesn't fall over easily, but would do stuff like pulling the defender back, tripping the defender etc, just to win the ball. Of course, with no intention to hurt his opponent. How would you guys (both sets of fans) feel about such a player?
Who wouldn't be scared of Pepe...
^Zlatan :P
+7
if we had neymar, we would have benched him enough times if he keeps diving, but saying he is under performing and not a great player is absurd.. he is pretty good and the future seems bright for him..

i think for many players, with age comes maturity and better experience so neymar will definitely learn
+3
@LastGraspWinner Benzema and Higuain were always like that and for that i truly respect them, but they always seem to lack consistency finishing-wise. on the other hand, it appears most consistent strikers are natural cheats (Costa, Suarez..).

Only one striker though blends the two great characteristics of a perfect striker in addition to numerous extra qualities, You mentioned his name in your other comment. ;)

@Cjayzz then Di Maria would've been continuously being benched 2 seasons ago, he only stopped when he was getting too much s**t for it.

i completely agree with your second statement though, i rarely see any grandpas dive. :P
+1
Not sure what you make out of this, but I see sportsmanship. Something Barca-Real fans need to learn. No matter how big the rivalry be, love for the beautiful game should be even bigger

Ronaldo looks like the Godfather

CR7 completely understands what Messi is going through no doubt, it appears that Messi maybe going through his own sad period.

Bale so far:

39 games 20 goals 15 assists

And all of this without a preseason, struggling with injuries in the beginning. And know he just keeps improving as the season goes. This has to be one of the most impressive first seasons for any of our players. I can only remember Ronaldo being better in his first season, even thou he had that long injure. But that's Ronaldo,it's no shame being second to him.
+1
Almost as good as Ribery's stats last year, with way less appearances. Beast.
+2
If that's not enough for his first season I don't know what is. I wouldn't mind a winger who could provide my team with 20 goals and 15 assists.

I think people focus more on his price than how good he actually is.
+2
100 Million well spent.
+1
35 games 32 goals 7 assists. that was Ronaldo's record from his debut season with us. just saying
^ Just shows you how amazing Ronaldo was from the start from us.
Bale was injured, he wouldn't have done like CR7 though
The pricetag is always much more complicated than it looks. You don't just pay for quality when you are a club of the stature of Madrid; you pay for the big name too, because a lot of the costs will be recuperated by increased marketing.

At the time, I think everyone thought it was too much: €80m would've been the max. Bale was far from the big name Ronaldo was when he joined. But now, Bale is clearly phenomenal and will continue to be for years to come. So even if it means Real lost €50m on him in their accounts, it would still be worth it sporting-wise. And his merchandising revenues will surely skyrocket too.
