Bale 90% out vs Valenica,sight...

Prepping for UCL Final.
Real Madrid posted this on their website. Navas too??

"Following tests carried out on Keylor Navas, he has been diagnosed with tendinitis in the achilies tendon of his left foot. His recovery will continue to be assessed."
Seriously, you gotta be kidding me. Our medical staff needs to be replaced the coming season.
Why is Varane not playing, Zidane? This guy should start the Final to counter Griezmann's pace. Don't understand why Zidane's not playing the guy. Because we see how both Pepe and Ramos has stepped up of late cannot be the answer to our defense going forward. Would truly hate to see Varane leave and we keep aging Pepe and Ramos because of ........ .
+1
Varane most definitely won't leave, I hope and think he'll be a starter next season
We went from beating Atletico 12 years in a row, to fearing them. And they say managers don't make as big of an impact as players...
+1
The fans fear them, because of previous results, but I think Zidane has this teams confidence sky high. Couple more La Liga games to get to top form, and then it'll be a great battle in the final.
+2
Were we as salty as the Barca fans last year when we got knocked out and Barca went on to win it all? Because I'm usually am Pro-La Liga when Madrid bow out.

I don't understand where their hate comes from. I know none of them are actually from Catalonia, probably don't speak a lick of Catalan.
+6
i understand barca fans its just friendly banter but bayern fans are more salty and bitter about madrid making to the finals.
+3
We are pro La liga lol Atletico all the way. And oh yes, I forgot that you have to be from the same city and speak the same language in order to support a team. #flogic
+3
So Americans cannot support football teams? Holier than thou much?
+3
LOL!

And it's not possible to be supporting Barca when Ronaldinho came and be 12 years old. Unless obviously we starting supporting Barca in our mothers womb. Then in that case all of us have been a life long Barca supporter.

And all of this coming from a "fan" who created his profile in March..right about when Madrid starting winning. Hmmm Lol
+3
Wtf? People support teams for various reasons. Usually its the coolest one while you're growing up or the team your dad supports. What does American or Nigerian or Canadian have to do with it? People in uae support city. Why? Because their kings money goes into that team and city markets itself heavily here. Are they plastic fans? Are we all supposed to make a pilgrimage to the city of our teams before we start supporting them? What kind of stupidity is this?

Every fan has his own path. While growing up Ajax was the coolest team out there for me. They won the champs league and then lost to juve. I was in awe of that team. 75% of that team moved to barca. So I followed my idols to barca. I loved Kluivert, de boer brothers, jari litmanen, reizeger and the entire Dutch squad that invaded barca. So I became a barca fan as well as an Ajax fan. Barca won fuckall with that team for 6 years. It didn't matter to me. Bog woop if I'm not from Amsterdam or barcelona.

By the way, Real madrid, like any other club wants these "plastic" fans. Ever wondered why they have friendlies in America? Because usa is the most lucrative market that remains to be conquered. Maybe you should contact perez and tell him not to seek out these American fans. Let's see how you pay the salaries of the ronaldos and Bales then.
+2
You guys cannot read. And it explains a lot.
+7
Yeah I didn't read the part where you called all of us plastic bandwagon fans lol
+2
Harry, Are you portuguese by any chance?
@is there any chance you knew it intense rivalry here created by rm fans who constantly whining about uefalona theories and cheating stuffs for years while we are conquering football world.may be you don't know since you just enter ft.
Guys, of course everyone can support a team from anywhere, not just the team from his own city. But HarryHoudini was not talking about supporting a team when he mentioned the Catalan part, he was talking about HATING Real Madrid. Just because you support a team doesn't mean that you should hate their rivals. He mentioned the Catalan part because it's general knowledge (even though that might just be the vocal minority) that Catalans hate Madrid and the Spanish central government. Bitter posts about Real Madrid legitimately reaching the CL final has nothing to do with your support for Barcelona, but has everything to do with your hate for Real Madrid. That's a big difference.
+2
SRACON17, that's what I thought at first too until he commented saying we are bunch of 12 year old plastic bandwagon fans who haven't hear of Barcelona before Ronaldinho. That comment was removed.

So no, he wasn't just talking about hating Madrid. He was calling us all bandwagon fans because we are not Catalan.
+1
Oh, I didn't read that comment. Sorry. That was wrong in generalizing people as bandwagon fans just because they're not Catalan
I call bullshit on the own goal, what about alonsos goal for baryern, thats an own goal
Yeah it's because of a weird rule: if the ball was on target before the deflection it is not called an own goal. If it was off-target before it's called an own goal.

It's weird because some shots like Alonso's would have been on target but would have easily been saved. So "on target before deflection =/= it was gonna be a goal anyway".
+1
Yeah i cant agree more, they are assuming that he was crossing it, which he may have been as that's usually what he would do there, but they dont really KNOW that now do they? I mean, there is nothing in that scene that shows the intent of bale one way or the other except that the ball went in the net. I would say that was Bale's goal. And without naming anyone, i can think of a few names out therewho would have been hailed as a "God" had they scored that goal.

In the end, I cant stress how great a player Bale is. Did anyone notice how beautifully he makes those turns when he gets the ball? He looks dangerous anytime he gets the ball. Great buy for real.
Its determined by the trajectory of the shot. Bale sidefooted it so it was apparent that it was intended to be a low hard cross. Bale is also a left footed player. So its highly unlikely he was taking a shot with his right foot from that angle.
Thats just it, there was no indication that it wasnt a shot because from any of the replays I've seen, it looks that if it has indeed hit the defender, it did so at such an early point that you cant tell where the shot/cross would have gone by itself. It looks to me it was heading for where the goal was.
honestly though i wouldn't have known it was an OG just by watching it, i was confused when i saw the highlights, i thought maybe that bale goal was a goal ruled offside because i knew an own goal was scored before i caught the highlights.
Some people yesterday:

* Atleti are a disgrace
* Simeone is a c**t
* all they do is park the bus
* they dnt deserve to be in the final

The same people today:

* simeone is a genius
* real faced europa league
* alteti had a harder road
* so alteti deserve to win the CL

So true

Some people just realise, this is the first time in the history a team reached ucl final without facing a team who won ucl before.

Some people realizing it now,for blancos beating malmo, shakthar, roma, wolfs and city are the hardest run ever they went through because they still thinks they're playing in Europa.
4ever

You guys had an even easier run then us this year if you look at it. Probably the weakest group, then Arsenal( you don't rate City so there is no way you can rate Arsenal), and then the first time you met a good team you got knocked out right away lol

Yeah we had luck with the draw this season, but when you look at all the s**t we had to deal with the whole season, starting with constant injuries to key players, through Benitez taking away half a season...all in all, this is a very unlucky season, saved by the amazing effort since Zidane came. Hell, injuries are still destroying us right now.
+2
Even if we didn't win a trophy this season, i am happy for my team because they put a good fight from where they was 6 months ago.
+3
Damn son, Madrid City is going to be lit up. Hopefully it'll go our way this time youve won enough CL. Time to share with your little brother ^__^
Those little bastards have been ruining our league run for years now,no CL for them!
+5
reporter: did you deserve better?

Joe Hart: I don't know about better. We certainly didn't deserve to lose, I don't think they've really created much apart from a few half chances.

Roy Keane: I heard Joe Hart say that there wasn't much between them. Maybe i was watching a different game.

lol sigh....
+2
to be fair to the guy he at least admitted that city didn't give Navas have enough to do
Lol I told you guys before the game, you guy would win this easy. Even though City made it to semis, they are massively overrated. Bunch of players who look good on paper but are clueless on the field.
If we are being honest with ourselves, forget we qualified.... This wasn't a good performance from Real Madrid.
I think alot has to do with the fact we are loosing key players and ronaldo is not 100%.

I wouldn't say much about our defense; many think they were great.. But they were never put into any position to show if they are good.... We weren't fluent in the midfield.. Its obvious we are missing Casemiro.

All thia being said... This match only proved that Manchester City is pretty terrible. I have never seen a star studded team as this play this bad in UCL semis... They didn't even bring a fight.. Not to talk of war. They are not a team at all.. Which still surprises me.
With how we played, we could have easily lost if we met a more determined, thirsty and serious team.. yet with how we played we should scored more against city...
+3
the only reason some felt we didn't have a good performance was because it the game finished tight. Had we put our chances away, we would be feeling the way the game actually went... DOMINANT.

We gave them nothing both home and away in their own ground. We had a solid performance and deserved 3 or 4 more goals in the tie.

We weren't amazing and its not a game that will go into the history books... but certainly wasn't a bad performance
+1
DaGaza

So that is the kind of performance we will give against juve, bayern, barca... And be @ d finals??

God help us if that is how we play against Atlwtico and then hope we win the trophy.
We were not good or close to our average best; the lads can do alot better.
+2
They can do a lot better and they will against Atletico in the final, certainly if everybody is fit. Often when we play a poor side we ourselves play poor, yesterday it seemed like we just 'chilled' the game out, but I'm almost certain will do much better when we're up against a better side.
Exactlt.. yesterday we were chill.. we didn't go all out sbd we didnt have to.

Cjayzz, u gotta be kiddin bro. If we had yesterday's performance vs juve in Turin last season we would never have come out of there with a defeat. Same thing in the 4-1 trashing to dortmund. Those were BAD performances!

The defeat to wolfsburg in germany is what a bad performance looks like.
