Big performances from Mayoral and Theo.... Theo was solid almost the entire game and its great to see how he is more committed to the back 4 than to the attack. Every time sociedad attacked, theo was in the right position. We're not used to seeing that from a Left Back.... :p :p :p

I happy Bale showed up today. He was fit, and played well. The guy can score goals if he is given the chance. I actually feel that at times our players don't pass him the ball like they should. I think at one point Isco should have passed it to Bale for a clear shot on goal, instead he shot the ball to no avail. (don't get me wrong, I really like Isco, but I think Isco should allow Bale to do his thing as well)

Bale has been out for a long time due to injury. I think he is finally coming around. Maybe once the fans give him a little breather, he can become more clinical.
+3
You guys are getting these 3 points because of Mayoral. Great game by him and he definitely deserves to start over Benz.
+1
everybody since the past 5-6 yrs deserved a start over benzema

...prob, marcelo's 8 yr old son should be playing over benzema.
its no more funny when ppl think benzema is actually a real madrid quality.
+4
Our defense has more holes then a crack whore!
+2
I thought whores had as many holes as normal women....
+2
perhaps you have never seen one up close but they got many more then youd think.
they prob have d same no of holes... maybe the size and depth..

..don't ask me, i am still a virgin
+2
big benz would have missed that ... The kid needs to be given more chances even when benz is fit :)

Theres the f*****g difference, Barca wants the win and goes and gets it what do we do? worry about dribbling and falling not fighting. And now its 7.With Sociedad away one of the toughest stadiums to get points at in the league.
Sociedad are banging in goals and have won their last 4 COMFORTABLY. This game will really tell us what Madrid can do without Cristiano.
Without Cristiano, Kroos, Marcelo and Kovacic ... Theo will and Cabellos could be thrown into fire tomorrow.
when we have a striker who can't score for goals... how can you score goals??

for years i have pointed out that Benzema is our biggest problem, yet everyone simply think i just hate the lad.. but now its clearly obvious that without CR7+9 we can't score against s**t..

still baffles me how the f**k we sold morata and kept fat old benzema who has been unproductive.

Bale in the UCL game simply showed he is good enough when he has someone lethal to convert his chances... so ppl given him s**t for not scoring goals... is he our striker/point guard/ top 9...???

we really need to spend... get quality forwards if we are to be competitive from next season... DYbala and belotti are very good options since Perez simply sold the possible best striker we could have had in a long time (twice)
+3
Now Cjayzz, dont be too quick to take bale out the fire.. he's not our CF but he can't be missing 1v1 chances.. dont care who you are.. only one on the field allowed to do that is Navas.

And bale isn't criticized because he doesnt get goals, he's criticized because he performs piss poor on a consistent basis

before everyone gets carried away; if we beat Sociedad, we will be fine. Barcelona has been playing Bottom of the league games. Sure its not ideal, but we can get back into it, starting tomorrow.

The trouble is that La Liga refs have made sure we have plenty of missing players tomorrow. Ramos, Marcelo, Ronaldo, then the injuries, Kroos, Modric, Kovacich, (anyone else?).
Beating anyone without those players is going to be a big ask, pain in the backside. Isco Bale and Benz must step up big time?

The refs who sent ronaldo and marcelo off must be real happy now
I reckon after they could not get Coutinho, barca spent the Neymar money the one place they knew it would work for them - paying off refs

LOL a United fan or a Madrid fan, can't tell now, is blaming Barca for Madrid's problems. I agree, those damn Catalans are the reason why we have global warming too!
+4
^^ are you seriously replying to the guy who said pep isto blame for ederson injury and who have no idea why Marcelo got red carded? Lol.
+2
How boring it must be for barca fans to constantly stalk RM page? Lol..
+7
@DaGaza...

Did Gareth Bale give you the response to ur post..

I was going to reply you earlier, but i decided not to.. I was hoping bale would... and he didn't disappoint..

what i can assure you is.. as long as benzema stays out, it doesn't matter who strikes for us.. we will score goals and win matches..
What happend to the goal line technology today for Ronaldo
That ball was two feet over the line
The goal line ref was doing his job, hunkerd down and everything
Lol
+3
Two penalties not given as well. he also gave a bs penalty to madrid man very strange
+3
Ronaldo! GOAT he's back

Have always been critical of Morata at times in seasons past, but this season and its start has really shown me how valuable his presence really was to our team. Even so Mariano was a dynamo always harrying the opp defense and now that they're gone we as fans need to understand that sometimes for all the good that the team has and will achieve the bosses still make decisions that baffles the mind. Yesterday's team selection was a head scratcher and the result even moreso but it's still early and if we're not careful Barcelona's great start to the season may prove a difficult lead to catch. It's been years now and I'm done talking about give them time and so forth. It's been too long to continue accepting mediocrity from players who have mil dollar price tags and command soo much money in salary and go out there and don't justify their play vs what's considered weaker opp.

Must say this is one time that we've truly sold players that we definitely shouldn't have sold and kept what should've been.
+2
That was a pretty horrendous starting XI today. Why start Theo Hernandez and Marcelo in midfield when the team is stacked with actual midfielders like Kovacic and Ceballos who could have started even if you are rotating? Bad move from Zidane.
+3
What are you talking about? Theo was LB and Marcelo played LW
+3
Doesn't matter who played where, the most idiotic thing done was to play both at same time. As was said Ceballos or Kova could have been the extra mid. In any case none of that matters as we have 0 players to help Asensio as neither Bale or Benzema are capable goal scorers with any sense of consistency at the moment.

Very disappointed in Iscodisco and the other 3 who clearly didn't watch the game to see that both Marcelo and Theo interchanged positions where both played as a LW at diff points in the game. So what Wily0 said is entirely true, so no need to bash the guy for speaking the truth. Get over yourselves!!! Zidane is a young and still learning coach, great thing I've come to respect is when something doesn't work he doesn't stick with it to force a result. So I'm sure we won't ever see that lineup again and he'll set out a team to get the desired result.
