Dani Ceballos hattrick. He should be starting more games or getting more time on the pitch than say.... Lucas Vasquez
how so? It's not Mods or Isco or Kroos or Casemiro out of form it's the forwards. Ceballos is a midfielder and he plays more attacking for NT than he would be asked to at Madrid. Unfortunately we play to cater to the forwards and not to allow the mids to come through middle to offer added support to forward line.

He should at least start against Atletico. I can tell you now that he's very dangerous, watch those videos and you'll see what I'm talking about.
bale's injured again
What's new?
in other news, water is wet.
Rumor Mill: winter window approaches and several reports indicating Juan Mata maybe seriously looked at by Real Madrid.
Rightttttt.
Isnt he super old? Why would real want him?
+1
Mata is close to 30, he is in his peak, he is being wasted at UTD being played as a RM when his best position is CAM/2nd Striker, he is a great player and now that UTD will likely sign Ozil, he could be a bargain
+1
he would be on the bench in Madrid... but he would make a great backup for isco...and we currently don't really have one.. but i'd prefer we focused on a CF who isn't cup tied to CL
CF would be Kane next season...its too late to sign a good CF. January you will usually overpay and get average players
I am of the mind that this could all go sideways pretty fast and not only because ZZ seems to have this undying loyalty in playing Benzema in or out of form, but also even if he had an option on the bench he would still start Benzema and let him miss to his hearts content.

The amazing individual goals and one or two good build up plays is not going to cut it at this level hope everyone is ready to accept that this season, because Madridistas seem to get very distracted by great shiny goals and moments of individual brilliance, and ignore the overall sub standard play from the majority of the lineup. Defensively there seem to be some very worrying signs and frankly my confidence playing highly intelligent skillful attackers has sunk to an all time low. Vertical passes seem to send or defenders into states of panic and confusion about positioning, Midfield has been inconsistent at best, and our forwards, well not sure what going on, if one or two are not injured every other game then they seem to be trying to set the record for most shots with no goals for a season.

P.S. Vallejo did his best and played a smart and solid match. We will see against Atleti if something is sparked within this squad because we have shown how we are playing against mid to low level teams in La Liga so far lets see how they respond to the top level teams.

I would say, sometimes you have to protect your players. As a coach, you might think starting them gives them confidence but if they are poor and getting stick, sometimes you gotta take them out of the limelight.

Couldnt agree more.
Like i said we would regret it if Morata left us.. and i was definitely right.
..He is not the best forward in the world, but right now and last season, he is far better than what we have.. and it made no sense selling him.

We have always ignored the fact that Ronaldo is ageing and we really have not gotten a suitable replacement for him.
..As always, when he doesn't score, we suffer and that is exactly what is happening right now..

personally, i think our major problem still lies in our attack

- Benzema as usual, is still irrelevant
- Bale as usual, always injured keeping him out of form even when fit.
- CR7 is now ageing.. no more superman

had we not sold morata and james, this are players who would have had bigger impacts this season for us.
..james and morata would have definitely played more minutes this season.
Last season, they had pretty good conversion rate consdiering the time played on pitch.

as for our defense, i am glad we have Vallejo, very promising... but varane and Ramos have never really been good together.
Vallejo is a good replacement for Pepe, but we still need to cash in on one of the 2 (varane or ramos) and get a solid defender.
I would even prefer Nacho and Vallejo partnership.

its unfortunate, but this season, it will take a miracle for us to win anything, if
- benzema is still starting
- Ronaldo doesn't find his goal scoring form
- our injury crisis, doesn't stop
- we don't improve on the squad in the next transfer window
Far better second half. We scored two beautifull goals. Most of all I'm happy with the second one because the build-up play was great. That's Real Madrid at its best. Vallejo was really good. I feel bad for Ronaldo though, he just can't seem to score.
A course about accountancy is more fun than watching us play. The linesmen are the worst by the way, just unbelievable..
worse than linesmen is Benzema ... Lineker is laughing
+2
Yep, I will always back Benz, but he is doing terrible. We really need to buy a striker who can score goals. Next to that we need a decent right back.
+1
Doesn't saying we need to buy a striker say you don't back Benzema anymore??
@Pedmar

I still back Benz, but he needs some competition. It's obvious he's not doing well at the moment, but that doesn't mean he won't get better. A challenge is always good.
So you want him to get better eventually when we're no longer challenging for league or out of CDR? UCL so far hasn't been any better for him either. ? wasn't Higuaín sold because it was believed having someone challenge Benz for starting spot did no good for him. Y do you think Morata was sold? not because of $$, because our coach trying to help him get back on NT. Thing is the French NT coach doesn't WANT Benzema period!!!!!

Who do you think is the overall best player of your team so far this season?
Isco for sure. Not many standout performance so far, witch reflects our results.
Isco is great at keeping possession for us but i think he also slows down the pace too much. He is just not fast enough.

Who do you think is the overall best player of your team so far this season?
not gonna win anything playing like this

that's the spirit (100 likes)

That's the spirit. ;)

I'm not sure what is wrong with the team, but something is terribly wrong. No teeth, and no defense either. They seem...tired? but that's not it. Its something else. Like they know their tactics won't work.
+1
There is no creativity through the middle. Every game is the same old thing. Move the ball to the wing. Put a cross in. Fail, rinse and repeat.

Right back is a gaping hole, Carvajal was the only player who had that position locked down and no one can come close to what he does
Options from the bench are some kids who just don't seem upto the quality. Ascencio scored a few goals last season and suddenly the world was expected from him.
Mainly loss of James and Morata are killing the club, two players who can turn games around when needed and unmatchable options from the bench are GONE
