Since Benitez left Napoli, they have been on fire. They are top of the table and will most likely fight for the title with Juve.

And oh boy,Pipita is tearing Seria A apart. right now he has 23 goals from 23 matches. He's also the leader in the race for the golden shoe.
Speaking of Serie A, apparently we're gunna bring Morata back!!
I would prefer Dybala
I highly doubt Dybala would come to Madrid. He's clearly made it known that he would like to play with Messi in the future but he's happy in Juventus right now. The fact that you guys haven't been getting along with Argentines either makes it difficult
Lot of players have professed their love for barca in the past and joined madrid. Money talks my friend!
Happy birthday to Tevez, Neymar, Ronaldo.......................... and my girlfriend who makes it impossible to forget her B-day cause its shared with beasts. #luckiestmanalive :v :v

Does she play football? ;)

You're dating Tevez

My God Valencia are horrible! Neville just made them worse and I didn't think that was possible.

Hope he gets sacked shortly and they get Rafa. Pellegrini would be a good shout too
Going to a decent team with very demanding fans wasn't the best career choice for Neville.

I don't doubt his knowledge of the game but managing is much different than punditry.
Lim shouldn't have taken a chance on him just because they're friends. Like you said, he has no experience to be managing a good club like Valencia. He should start smaller.
Valencia were in complete shambles before Neville stepped up. Plus he is only going to coach til the end of the season, no one expected them to give astonishing performances but they want him to ride it out.

gary will be valencia's dark knight.

ba dum tss.

did no one get that reference? valencia bat as part of their logo? gary taking all the bad press and public abuse off his players like batman taking the criminal accusations for the good of gotham?

no?

I got the quote and reference but totally forgot about the bat in their logo. Good one haha

Congrats to Real Madrid Castilla once again they got an important away win at Real Sociedad 1-2 with 90+min goal by Mariano, pulling th team within two points of first place and improving their record to 11 games with no losses not to shabby boys.

really hope they make that first place so they qualify directly for Segunda again

So Guardiola bout to earns 21M in the PL, 13M more than second highest earner Wenger, can't understand how people don't realize that Guardiola isn't as good as people may think he is, Luis Enrique having curently as much succes as he was, at bayern he hasn't been as good as his predecesor to, he had one of the best teams in history... at bayern he only has an " amazing " team, atleast he goes to city, taking the easy way, like usual.

I'd love to see Guardiola coach and/or build a team that isn't already the best in it's league by a margin..

Next up for him, PSG.

Sigh..
+4
Take that you EPL idiots !!!! Always knew City was best team in the league by some margin , making them one horse league.

BTW remember that fraud who goes by the name of Carlo guy? always won trophies with big & strong teams & how can we forget the best managers in football history , Aka Rafa & Mou , after all they won trophies with small teams like Valencia and Porto
The 2007-2008 Barca team was surely the best in its league by a margin. Too bad Rijkaard got fired for no apparent reason.

I have nothing against Pep. He maybe did have great players every time he coached a team, but he's system provided results for Barca and Bayern( minuse the CL semi finals debacles). He's a proven coach, he'll do well for city,no doubt about that.

But I really can't stand to watch the style he plays. His Barca and today's Bayern were by far the most boring teams to watch(for me). Barca is playing much nicer now with the changes in approach Luis made. And we all know how attractive for watching was Bayern before him. He's biggest weakness is his unvilignes to evolve and change his style. That's why good counterattacking team are still using the same pattern as Mou from years ago.

Like I said,he's approach gets the job done, but it has the same effect on me as on the opposition teams...it puts me to sleep literally.
+1
^ Pejvl fair enough, I think that's a legitimate opinion.

Assessing Pep as a manager, people always say his tiki-taka style is his biggest strength. It isn't. His biggest strength is that he can get the best of out his top players. That's why it makes so much sense for City to hire Pep (more so than United or Chelsea). Pep's time at City is really going to define his legacy imo. If he can get this team to reach the CL final or better still win the CL, he will be the go-to man for all top teams for the next decade.
When you're supporting a team that's playing against pep then its obviously very boring because they will not let you have the ball. Towards the last year of pep's time at barca the team was burned out. Their passing became less decisive and the their pressing much lazier. This carried on during tito's time.

But his first three years at barca - that team played football like gods. Their execution was the finest during 2009-10 and 2010-11. The 5-0 demolition of madrid and the 3-1 destruction of united was probably the best two games I've ever seen in my life. Even the games we lost vs inter and Chelsea; that team played at their highest level.

How can one find this boring? Lol Probably one of the best missed goals.

https://youtu.be/3JThGcbAQeM

This wasnt during pep's time but this is what pep left at barca. And barca created 100s of chances like these during pep's time. Which team can play like this?
+1
I'm not going to deny his ability but Bayern fans will tell you how I feel. He didn't make the team better despite snatching up all the talent in Germany. They want to win UCL which he hasn't done. Also about him promoting youth players and giving them chances? It didn't happen at Bayern, not sure if Thiago counts since he bought him from Barcelona.
+3
That video you posted was amazing Franky, just beautiful. But what gets be bored is the 500 short passes that come before that happens lol

As much as I appreciate goals like that,my favorite stye of attacking is a well executed counterattack. Fast, precise and deadly. I enjoy that the most, just my taste.

Something like this:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=S6j6fIo2xuY
I understand what you're saying. Pep's team had become one dimensional but that was only towards the last year. I remember that goal vs Ajax. Mourinho's madrid team was lightning quick on counterattacks. You think pep's barca was boring? Check this out:
https://youtu.be/1C--gtzvDUk

This video is fast forwarded but if you watch this goal in real time you can see Liverpool players getting bored and tired of chasing the ball to a point they stopped running haha.
Hikmat: Pep was hired to reform the youth system at bayern. Things like that do not happen over 2 years. Barca benefited from his work at la masia because of him coaching the b team and then being involved in the academy for the next 4 years. He's leaving way too early to see the fruits of pep's work.

When your predecessor wins the treble its a lose lose situation no matter what you do. Pep's coaching at bayern has evolved from playing tiki taka in the first year to a much wider direct style played by the current team. He has managed to find replacements for ribery and schweinsteiger. I don't know much about bayern's youth teams but you can't just promote players unless they're actually good enough. As far as I know pep has tried out various young players in the last 2.5 years.

I think Carlo's biggest challenge would be to hold on to lewandowski and find a RW and RB. Their midfield is pretty much set. Griezmann is supposed to be a target for bayern. Bayern were looking at darmian too. Its interesting how people look at pep as someone who ruined heynckes' "perfect" bayern team. He won 6 trophies in 2009 and dismantled that team as well and won only a league title next year. I'm not sure pep cares about holding on to title winning teams.

Some people prefer watching porn rather than watching great movies while going to sleep.SO we can't blame real madrid fans, lol.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
i actually don't think guardiola is the best coach or as good as he is rated... but i know he is good, cos he must be doing something right when you let go off Ronaldinho, Deco and eto'o still in decent form and then still do pretty well..

1. one thing i am certain; people are right when they say he takes the easy way out by always going to big teams and not having to rebuild much to achieve succes.
actually he has been below expectation for bayern Munich if i am to say; though buy win convincinly, they did it in a better format under Jupp Heynckes..they were playing like machines then.
it clearly showed his tactics in bayern failed when he doesn't know how to use Mario Gotze, Javi Martinez, Toni Kroos.... who are all monsters on the pitch.

2. he could have gone to Troubled Chelsea and prove his worth; do what his arch enemy couldn't do and got fired.. but no, city with probably the best team in EPL was his preferred option... i mean, there is man united who will throw van gaal away today should he decide to choose them...

Lol if there is one fan base that should recognize Pep quality and abilities (besides barcelona fanbase), its of course RM fan base
That's like expecting a zebra for lunch to say "damn you're a fast lion."

Cjazz: Are you under some impression that juup would have repeated the treble if he had stayed? In case you don't remember BBC were in crazy form 2 years ago. MSN were going wild in April may last year. Seriously, I highly doubt Juup's team would have survived them. And for the record, juup's team lost every final the previous year. This is why coaches should retire when they're at the top because legends are created around them.
Gotta love this:

Goodluck Cheryshev at Valencia quite ironic that he can now play against Barca in the Copa del Rey and we cant because of him.....LMAO LMAO:)
+3
Hahahah that's funny indeed :p

But you can't be cup tied in Copa right? Only European competitions
LOL
I thought he was Liverpool-bound? what happened with that?
Just imagine if he end up scoring crucial goal to knock us out and manage to win CDR , banter on both our teams will be endless.

@SA , he is eligible to play , not 100% sure but from what i understood the half match he played for Real was never counted , so as per the record he served his suspension and yet to play in CDR.

Guardiola just agreed terms with City.. lol
... This is going to be one hell of a test.

But knowing the dude, i believe he will do well for city.
+2
THe momet you realise Bayern would have been better with their old coach, and that Luis Enrique is as good a coach as Guardiola
+2
I see Cheryshev has popped up as a last minute transfer rumour for LFC. What's his deal? Is he a lost cause? Should I be angry at our transfer committee (yet again)?
He isn't bad, but he isn't the type of players a club like liverpool should go after, he ain't replacing Sterling that's for sure, but you never know, you got Klopp now he's the type of coach that can transform a player and give him lots of confidence
hmmm if its in terms of that hard work that klopps demands from the attack, then he will be good for you guys... he is a good player, but not one liverpool should be going for IMO.. i think u guys should be looking towards better players...

Chery was brought back to Madrid for depth and backup.. he is indeed a good backup... but us doing BS and getting disqualified from Copa Del Rey means he wont get to play any matches and therefore I see him playing 3 maybe 4 matches for the rest of the season....
Ronaldo's goal in HD:

More like Messi's own that many were freaked about that looked like 'meh ok'.
