For tomorrow

Navas

Carvajal Varane Ramos Marcelo

Bale Kroos Illara Isco

Hernandez Ronaldo
Bayern just gave the game to City thanks to Xabi and Boateng.
+4
And these both players helped bayern to claw back in this game as well.
+3
ah FFS! Messi broke Raul's record first....
Congrats to him,the record is his for now. Ronaldo will have the next move tomorrow.
+5
this record will go back and fourth for couple of season its gonna be fun watching these greats go at it!
+4
He broke both super records with two amazing hattricks :O #justMessiThings
+2
@Troubletonight, I'm guessing Ronaldo has more CL goals in his career than Arsenal.

Hell, he's scored more goals in the CL this season than Arsenal have won trophies in the past decade.
+4
I will never get people who basically blame Ronaldo for scoring penalties. Is he supposed to miss them? The man is doing his job,and he's doing it almost to perfection.
+5
Naa forget about this guy. He's butt hurt Arsenal couldn't beat United's worst XI in the past 100 years.
+6
@Troubletonight, I get it, you think Ronaldo (or Penaldo/Tapinaldo like you called him on the Barca forum) can only score from penalties.
You said it 3 times in about 2 minutes. The first two times were alright because it was posted on the Barcelona forum, but you can't post these sorts of comments here.
You're of course allowed to dislike Ronaldo, but you can't come on the Real Madrid forum to insult their best player like that. I'll be keeping an eye on you.
- Badge (Mod)

And in case you forgot that Ronaldo occasionally scores goals other than penalties, here's a reminder of what he did to Arsenal the last time he faced you:

+4
If they're called right I could give a sh*t if their 5, 50 or 100.
+3
you know what i notice...these Messi/Ronaldo fanboys are usually worse when they support other clubs whats up with that?
+1
Fan boys? ...
+1
What Slim said. If a penalty is legit, then of course the best penalty taker takes it. Is Ronaldo supposed to say oh no I'm not taking this penalty because people will call me Penaldo...like really? Tell me out of 71 goals Raul scored how many were penalties? Now same thing with Ronaldo and then Messi? I wanna see if someone can answer me those questions without searching it up. That's right, non of us can cause no one gives a s**t if it was a header, if they scored with their man parts, or with their hair. This Penaldo s**t is getting as old as Messi is nothing without Xavi and Iniesta. Come on people if you're gonna hate at least get some new hating points.
+8
Sanchez, that was actually a pretty good example.
Asasiyun, well its just common sense. We have been on a decent form, Messi broke two records and Suarez scored a beauty and instead of enjoying that and being happy, we look to bring Ronaldo down. I actually enjoy football much more when I stay away from footytube. There's only a handful of users who actually still talk about tactics and other important things about the game including you and some others that i won't name. The rest are just waiting for Messi or Ronaldo to do the wrong move.
@SanchezAlexis...Big round of applause to u...:)
Nice little freekick from our Alonso. 1-1 ManC-Bayern
Anyone care to hypothesize why Khedira was left off the 20 man roster for Basel? injury? Contractual?

Edit: hip problem apparently
+1
Marco Asensio rising star 3.5M bought and loan at Mallorca
16 Year Old Dutch Lad Miink Peters from Ajax youth living at Valdebebas
15 year old Martin Ödegaard of Norway signed for 5 years
And from Valencia youth now at Liverpool 17 year old Pedro Chirivella who they already are comparing to Xabi Alonso next on the clubs radar.

Looks like Perez is on a rampage to sign and bolster the ranks for the future of the club Hala Madrid!

"Real are keen to avoid a repeat of the problems that have seen Barcelona punished by FIFA and so are being extra-careful with all their dealings with minors."
lol...lesson learned!!
+2
Most importantly of course we don't make the same mistakes ...lol
Its about time the club starts investing in youth with potential to play for the first team. Does anyone know anything about the 2 foreigners?
No I dont at least I know Marco was about to be signed last summer by Barca and they never closed the deal, this was a very very good signing for us this kid is the real deal.
Yeah, what the hell is this? Those are all minors; I wonder what'll happen. If we get punished, so should you guys now, right? Or does anyone have a sensible explanation why these transfers are different from ours?
Apart from Mink Peeters, and this one is a bit complicated, these signings haven't materialized yet, Jeroen. There's no problem in signing Marco Asensio since he's 18 and home grown. This signing is very likely to happen too.

Martin Ödegaard will be approached once he's of the appropriate age. Also the Valencian youngster will be 18 by next Summer. He'll most likely be approached then anyway.

Don't be surprised if you come to find Real Madrid linked with many youngsters in the next couple of years. This includes both domestic and foreign targets. It seems the club are starting to take La Fabrica seriously, and I'm beginning to see the benefits of reducing the divisions within the subsidiaries too.
Do you guys thinks Ronaldo is going 'all out' until he wins Ballon D'or, and then will slow down a bit? Maybe not give 110% in every match?

Hmmmm, something that just popped into my head and wanted your opinion.
No way, that's not in Ronaldo's mentality at all,he goes all out all the time. And besides,he practically already has a granted Ballon D'or,this year there is really no one who came even close to him.
+5
Ronaldo will celebrate the 8th goal in a meaningless match the same way hell celebrate an El Clasico goal. He always gives it his best I think and never stops or purposely slows down, evey goal seems like his first haha.
+3
Rejoice!!! Real Madrid is coming to Australia next July to play the International Champions Cup.

Finally, after years of waiting I'm going to get to see my beloved Madrid live.
+3
Slim.. you're in australia?

i wish to do my PhD in an Australian University.
..and i love Melbourne
OMG!! R u serious? Finally dreams goin to come true . Tnx for good news slim. Hope they come to sydney.
You lucky bastard! I've never watched my beloved Madrid live, but I have seen Brazil!
I'm really excited. It's like when I got see Eminem live (my other childhood passion) a couple of years ago.

And the good thing is that apart from the Copa America there's no major intenational summer tournament going on so Madrid will be able to bring most of the stars.

@Dwarush

I think they're only coming to Melbourne.
its ok . I will go to melbourne. Slim it will be awesome if we meet each other n watch it together. Do u live in sydney??
Nay, I live in Newcastle. And yes it'd be cool to meet up.
Slim you like Eminem? Is he maybe the reason behind your name here on footy? Anyways, im a huge fan of his as well, still didnt get to see him perform live thou :(
lol When I growing up I was a skinny kid and my nickname (among others) back home was 'flaco' which roughly translates to 'slim' in english.

Eminem also being called Slim Shady was just a cool coincidence.
Yeah, that's why I thought it was connected to Shady, but still a cool coincidence lol. Now that i think about it,you had his picture as your dp some time ago,I remember that the name-picture combo struck me at once lol
Gundogan "Real Madrid made a bid but my club didn't want to accept it. I was under contract for two more years,"

"My injury broke my plans. I didn't play for 14 months. Now I want to make up for this time with success. One day, I'll leave here, I want to play for one of the big teams in Spain or England."
+1
hmm.. ok

but i think our team is really strong enough..
...unless we can swap illarramendi for him
Madrid tried to sign him last season but was told to wait another year (this summer).

If it wasn't for his injury he'd be in Madrid now.
Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Ilkay Gundogan.

Let such a scenario sink in for a minute...

EDIT: This is not to say I'm not satisfied or confident with the current squad.

Also, what are your opinions on Alvaro Medran?
Well, Khedira is mostly likely going to leave us this summer. I don't see Illara staying any longer, so that leaves us down to Modric and Kroos. Gundogan would be an amazing sub for Modric and Kroos.
Ilkay Gundogan would have to be carefully monitored though. It isn't clear whether or not he'll be able to display the quality that caught the club's attention before his injury. I don't think the club is interested in him any more though.

Luka Modric isn't getting any younger by the way, so this will probably be brought up again.

I don't think the club will part ways with Asier Illarramendi just yet, not only because I think he'll still be useful, but because that would have been a terrible investment. Florentino Perez will want to save face.

Sami Khedira might actually get his contract renewed if he comes to an agreement with the club. This will depend on Khedira though.
I kind of feel that Alvaro Medran will be promoted next season. Perhaps he'll be loaned out right after (or maybe a transfer with a buy-back clause), but I do feel his development is progressing smoothly (knocks on wood).
At this point I think Marco Verratti is a more likely option than Gundogan if Madrid were to make another midfield signing.

And don't forget Pogba.
If I had to pick between Pogba, Verratti and Gundogan I would pick Veratti every day of the week.
Veratti seems overrated to me; i could seriously be wrong,

pogba on the other hand... speechless. but will be too expensive.

gundagon, if not because of his injury, i would have liked to see his status and form in the last yr to place him.

but guys, you forget we still have Casemiro (loaned), illarramendi, isco, modric, kroos and possibly khedira.... which to me is very balanced once we bring back Casemiro. so any of those guys will just be lavish spending.

but a long term replacement for modric; we need to sit down and watch.. pjanic is my pick or we can steal Ander herrara from United since it seems they want to offload him
+2
I agree with Cjayzz. I haven't watched much of the other 3 names this season (I think I saw Marco Verratti in action against Barcelona though) so I won't comment on them, but I have followed the progress of Casemiro.

I was critical of the loan move before the season began, thinking the club would turn their back on him, but this appears to be just the move Casemiro needed to demonstrate to the club his ability and capability of playing at Real Madrid.
Maybe sell Illara and Khedira, and sign Gundogan and Casemiro?
Medrán is the s**t, deserves to compete with Illarra.

If this was 2012 Gündogan, but now it's all about Verratti, such an exciting player.

We don't need a player like Pogba, and as for Casemiro, unless he has an amazing season at Oporto, he's been eclipsed.
Gundogan would be a great signing provided he can still play like the way he played against us. Very talented player. Pogba would also be a solid addition. Veratti, I'm not so sure. Seems kinda lightweight.
I'd love Casemiro to play for us next year. I remember last year in a match he got 60 minutes or so, he was fantastic. In Europe too I believe.
I know he's chasing a record, but i think we should rest Ronaldo against Basel, since we granted the first place. At best, give him one half. Also Kroos needs a rest, especially now that he's even more vital because Modric is out.
Ronaldo getting a rest? Well, if Carlo and his staff wants to do that, they'll have to tie him down in the dressing room...or tell him the match is on Thursday.

Kroos, though, will probably get a rest. Khedira to get a start?
+1
I think that he came off at the 84th minute is a representation of his rest and will probably start and finish the Basel game with at least a goal:P

However Pejvl you have a point that CR7 is coming to an age where most athletes are usually slowing down not him making it very hard to know when to rest this freak of nature..lol
+1
He'll probably be rested for game 6, not this week...
Yeah i know, but since this game has almost no competitive meaning for us,i think it would be a nice time to give him a little rest. The season is long, and if he can keep up this form,we'll probably win most of our games. And Tharius, looks like time works differently when it comes to affecting Cristiano lol.
Ronaldo needs to beat Raul's record before Messi does!
Just leave Rual be! Ronaldo is coming for all of his records is seems lol. Can't say im not just a little bit sad.
Messi plays on Tuesday, where as Ronaldo plays on Wednesday. My money is on Messi :(
Pejvl is right. Rest him the group is yours..give Basel a chance:p
