There is been a lot of talk from Liverpool side concerning Real.
Well duh! What do you expect? There's a final in the Champions league between the two clubs.
+4
I know, but it’s not talk about their own team. It’s talk about Real. Not saying this to offend but in my short experience when a team talks too much about the opponent before a game it’s a sign that they are scared and they end up choking on game day. I’m not saying that will happen or that’s the case with Liverpool but just making an observation. I hope I'm not proven wrong (;

Case that comes to mind is Bayern Munich's "Hail of Burning trees awaits Madrid" and the ensuing 0-4.
Maybe we are scared, and trying our best to convince ourselves that we can beat a team that hasn't even bean eliminated in the last 3 years.
Believing is half the fight, I forget who said that. I can at least rest easy that even if Real loses, Liverpool wins the Champions League, as they are my favorite EPL team, mostly because of their uniquely amazing fans.

Hope we beat you though. I would love to brag about 3 successive CLs.
if madrid fans aren't discussing liverpool, you're underestimating us. it's going to be one hell of a final!

Lol, we won't underestimate Liverpool by any means. Winning this trophee is the only thing that can save our season.
+2
i'm not saying the actual team will underestimate us, just the fans. most football fans think we don't have a shot.
@ScouserDan
That article is exactly the type of "talk" I was referring to. The article is not written by anyone from Real Madrid. Looks like the author cherry picked stuff said by different people and attributes them to the team. Real fans are not surprised by spins like that anymore, we are used to it.
+1
All season the same thing we go up and can't see out matches very frustrated.
pretty sure our players aren't really motivated to fight right now. Wisely, as the CL Final is not too far off.
+1
if we only count the results of the second halves of each game we'd probably be towards the bottom of the table
+1
It maybe the side effect of winning two champion’s league seasons in a row. Long term fatigue plays a big part in team performance. At least that’s the most often touted reason why teams generally don’t win successive CL trophies.
Hope no one gets injured against Villarreal. I wish ZZ could use all the youngsters and give a day off to anyone featuring in the CL Final.
The agony of seeing liverpool fans gloat alongside the city fans who are out in full force will be unbearable. Please for the love of all that is pure, beat pool.
+1
I think we will know in the first 20 minutes if Liverpool has a chance. Not saying it’s not likely, just that in the first 20 minutes it would become evident how the two teams actually match up.
Posts like these are more embarrassing than city or Liverpool winning trophies.

Hows the view sif?
Can't see a damn thing 😎
+1
Lmao mustve climbed on after seeing my comment then eh
LOL at UEFAlona. Thank you Levante for making this an even more special Mother's day.
+7
Lol Levante play well vs small clubs
+3
Fair enough. We deserve all the trolling in the world after a f*****g performance like that :(
Barcelona is loosing and where is the Refree????
+11
No ref can save a team from a performance like that.
+2
the ref tried, but it was difficult to save them this time.
+1
Barca should have asked La Liga to use the refs Madrid gets in the UCL! ;)
Gareth Bale, not bad. not bad at all.
+3
Im pretty sure during the celebrations pique and Suarez had a laugh about Suarez’s foul that led to Messi goal. It looked like pique asked Suarez something and Suarez nodded in confirmation. Then they laughed it up. I can’t think of anything else that might have been so funny to cause so much jubilation. I hope the ref goes home and watches that moment.
Maybe the ref should watch the moment when Bale intentionally tried to injure Umtiti...?
+2
ok you can have a yellow to bale and we will take away your foul goal (give Suarez whatever card he deserves for intentionally fouling) and two penalties that weren’t given?
+3
TBH the ref was bad for both teams.
Bale could have been sent off twice in that match.
Marcelo should have gotten a penalty. I didn't see a second penalty for RM though
Perhaps a disallowed goal for Barcelona
Foul on Varane etc etc
Draw seems fair result on the day.
+3
Really? You thought that was fair?? I’m sorry but I cannot imagine how you came to that conclusion. And to be honest I think your being deliberately disingenuous.

I think any unbiased person seeing that game would be offended by Barcelona’s second goal and the no penalty call for the foul on Marcelo.
+1
Madrid were 1 men up for 45 minutes of the game. If they couldn't score then the blame is on RM.
Would the same unbiased person be offended by Madrid's second goal? Bale wouldn't be on the pitch if everything went by the books.
+4
And Marcelo just confirmed that Sergi didn't touch his face and yet he went to the ground like he got Tysons punched. I can't believe Madrid fans are crying about refs again.
Oh yeah. Navas foul on Suarez right at the beginning for a penalty? Lol of course that's forgotten. Look at the replays. Navas missed the ball and tripped Suarez. But of course, Marcelo is the only one that was a penalty. Sigh! 🙄
+2
Madrid didn’t score earlier because the dirty goal by Suarez changed the dynamic of the game. I can’t believe you guys don’t have the decency not to argue that this was in ANY shape or form a fair match. Picking up little taglines from commentators whose job is to talk and create scenarios to have a hot debate and using it to act like Real didn’t get shafted by the ref. Shame on you. If it was me I would admit that we got lucky, and leave it at that.

Bale getting a yellow or red is a matter for the ref to decide. Same thing for Messi’s foul on Ramos which also looked intentional. But the foul by Suarez and the penalty were not debatable. they were blatantly 100% calls that could only be called one way and one way only.

I can’t wait for VAR in LALIGA. It will ruin part of the game for me, but with calls like these I think it’s no longer an option.
Then...Marcelo getting a penalty is a matter for the ref to decide. You can't just debate on what you feel should be the correct decision vs what is the matter for ref to decide. It is either the correct decision or not.
I bet you couldn't wait for VAR after last season?
+4
Lol you forgot Pique should have got a red for tackling Ronaldo and injuring him
+3
Ok guys
Ummm yeah If you plant your foot with studs showing into another player ESPECIALLY from behind, its a guaranteed red card. There's no ifs and buts about it. The referee didn't give it and it's his error. By your logic anybody can say the ref thought Marcelo dived before the foul. So it's for the ref to decide. Bale if he was rightly sent off would have been game over for Madrid. Shafted! Yeah right!
Ok whatever you say
I would love to hear something from Barcelona fans about the refree's todays performance!!!!
+2
you'll hear nothing. it goes against their narrative..
may be after this comment one or two will give their expert opinion but you'll have to look at their footytube comment history to actually judge if that's genuine or not
+1
@DanTheGooner maybe?
just created an account for this???

edit: also nice edit btw
+11
No, I have this account since 2013.
this ref will get another best ref award after this match... he accomplished his objective...great job ref!!!!
+4
Maybe he is the best because he is good at saving Barcelona?
+16
ya it's almost like since the head of RFEF is a madrid fan, he wants all ref favors to go for Barca and against Madrid just so he can look to be fair
I know a bunch of em will come with that Franco thing, but what they don't know is Franco was an Atletico fan and during his regime, Barca won more titles than Madrid. but don't let this s**t get out. it goes against their beliefs. so keep quiet
+8
i would say maybe the refs have it out for Real because Real is pushing for VAR in LaLiga, but then Real is pushing for VAR because this already had been happening to them.
