I'm disappointed, it was a poor performance today. We were the opposite of "organized". Starting with our defense, it looked at times we were too committed pressing forward, it is almost like we did not have a plan B, in case if Juventus counter attack. Perfect example was the second goal, things were looking for us attacking Juventus, and all of the sudden, counter attack for Juventus, and our defense were two players only! Listen, if that was the only time it happend, then fine I wont mention it. But many times during the match, that exact same thing happend, our players are too committed playing forward. We have no Plan B for defense. When Juventus counter attacks, our plan is to play "catch-up"

Also, too many passing errors! This is not usual, so I'm hoping it is nothing to worry about, considering the fu ture. I expect we get back to our usual form, high accuracy passing game!

However, I am not happy with the team attitude. Medal of shame goes to Marcelo for clipping Morata. I don't care how silly it looked, but a real champion does not play this way. I consider Marcelo a real madrid hero. But today he was wrong.

I hope we improve our attitude this la liga game this weekend, I still think we have more hope in La Liga this year, more than the Champions League, but who knows, we can easily win against Juventus with a 3-0 next match. Anything can happens, but I am counting on La Liga this year. Currently, I am only happy that I got to see Kross taking shots on goal from outside the box! I hope we keep coming up with different approaches rather than the same routine pass, same routine play.
Player ratings:

------Ronaldo (6) ------ Bale (4)-------------

Marcelo (3) -- Varane (5) -- Pepe (5) -- Carvajal (4)

* Chicharito (6)
+1
James deserves a better score than Ronaldo. Ronaldo did virtually nothing the entire game except for the goal.
+2
Ronaldo had alot of contributions that lead to nothing. Alot of high pressing in the second half that should have led to a chance or a goal under normal circumstances
+3
Just saw this slow-mo .gif of James' "miss"

http://i.giphy.com/xTiTnymJW3PKIGT7mE.gif

It was incredibly defended. James had it on target.
+5
He's gotta score from there. Unlucky James, unlucky...
Wow unbelievable seein that angle now it makes much more sense how it went straight up at the bar one of greatest blocks ever, not to mention clearly dangerous play having essentially kicked his foot right in the path of James face.
+2
James is trolling you guys. When he wants people to watch his YouTube highlights he doesn't want easy goals. He only wants golazos and screamers.
+1
Block or no block, the ball was moving so fast that it was a really tough header to control. Can't be too mad at James.
+1
I'm not sure why anybody is mad at james. He was clearly your best player. Juve was hounding him all night and even then he managed some good plays. He had no help from bale and isco was overwhelmed by juve's pressing.
How I long for a coach able to make decisions for the betterment of the team and not because they're fan favs or mangmnt favs or club capts.
+1
All you guys need is a goal, then rent Chelsea's bus (they won the title already, so Mourinho wouldn't mind.) and park it a front of the goal. BOOM! Through to the Final! lol
If you want to rent the bus it will cost you 1 Bale :P
Take him, it may give the other EPL teams a chance against you.
+1
bitter Gooners are the bestest Gooners.
Sigh.
We hear ya!!!
i know how u feel man... just cant get over this performance
Words can't describe it.
Well, lets just be happy it was only 2-1. All we need is a goal and a clean sheet inside the first half.
Please start Chicharito next match!!!

Any fan of a football club can usually predict how their club will perform, but that's not the case for us Madridistas. One day we go to a teams backyard that haven't lost in 15 months and win, the next we play like horse s**t. Why is this team so unpredictable? Lack of concentration? Lack of rotation? Lack of motivation? What ever the case may be, we need to win the next 5 games... Or else Carlo is out of here...
Lack of a coach who knows what he's doing. How does one expect that Ramos moving to the midfield vs JUVENTUS would have worked? Tell me was it that Pogba was missing? That Pirlo's almost 40? Vidal's haircut would have confused his thinking? what seriously what?

This would have worked if Carlo had swapped Pepe with Ramos because Pepe has played in that position for Portugal before and for RM as well under Mou and he did well against believe it or not BARCELONA.

Today is another day in a long line of days where Carlo simply got it DEAD WRONG. ? What will he do next week? Will Benzema be avl? will Bale start again? He should NEVER have benched Chicharito. Bale's too introverted he never looks to take any game by the scruff of the neck and attack. Talks about wanting a stay but honestly right now I'd prefer he leaves.

This is one time that I will say I blame Casillas for a pk he didn't cause. Here's my reasoning; He sees Tevez and carvajal bearing down on goal and right before Tevez enters the box he has the vocal strength to say to Carvajal " Do not go down, stay up, do not tackle, hold him up, DO NOT FOUL" Yet he says .................. to my knowledge, as Captain in that position he should have been more vocal and dictated Carvajal's actions. Had Carvajal did that and forced Tevez to make a weak shot or attempt at pass maybe we would have survived that play.

Just too many mistakes from players who our coach has as "UNTOUCHABLE" and yet rewards them with continued starter status over players who when called upon or not in Silva's case always looks to give more - Chicharito.
Don't know why Carlo keeps playing Jese on the wings where he's obviously not comfortable and offers little to 0 contribution.

Always like a stuck record now the second leg at home.
+2
I just don't understand what the hell is going on with Bale. I'm a big EPL fans, and I watch teams that excite me (Arsenal, United this season because of Di Maria, Spurs when Bale was red hot, Chelsea before Mourinho joined them, Liverpool when Suarez was red hot, City when they won the title in overtime) So I've seen Bale at his best. He was great at Spurs, yet he's been nothing but garbage for us this season. I don't get it! He looks fit so fatigue can't be a problem. The whistling and booing can't be a problem either because he's not 12 years old. SO WHAT IS IT BALE? A player of his quality doesn't have a 'dip in form' for a whole damn season... Wake the hell up Gareth because even I am starting to get annoyed...
+1
We were not patient enough out of defense - lol Carlo. You picked the worst 11 you could have picked. Chicharito should have started, coentrao as well, Ramos as cb not cdm, stop playing Isco on the wings he's ineffective there like Ozil. Should have gone 451.

Your blind faith is ruining this team Carlo.
+2
Marcelo yet again had a poor game. I would have picked Marcelo too, but now that I know how bad he played, I wished Fabio started :P

If Chicha started then the beloved Isco would have been benched, and we all know that's impossible. Ozil was just laughable on the wings, at least Isco does a decent job
Ronaldo became the best scorer in the CL semifinals with 6 goals. we'll need some more in the next match as well, cement that record Cristiano :)
+4
Actually he already was the best scorer in CL semi finals wth 8 goals... today he added to his record and now has 9
+2
Really? My bad,I had the wrong stats. If that's true,he's way ahead of everybody else then,Del Piero is second with 5 goals,if I'm not mistaken again.
ronaldo has 6 in semis with madrid.. and I believe thats also a record.. but he has 9 in total now...
