Well well, this has been a fun day. I want to speak to the regulars here and put very plainly the issues at hand so that everybody understands. But first, I'd like to address today's problem. I'm not going to judge anyone, I'm not going to point out if it could've been handled better or worse, I'm just going to show you 2 previous comments made on this forum by the person who got in trouble today, Realfan. I've removed some of the convo cos it's a bit long and attacks another user. This comment was made before Pejvl joined our team btw.

"I've had something on my mind regarding the whole 'the Madrid chat needs a mod of its own'

When Matt and Lee first made this site they picked users like Tony, Ben, Zach, Jereon, Raj to be the mods of this site. Anyways, not only were they respected by everyone on the site, but everyone knew they didn't tolerate any sort of trolling. They didn't give 'warnings' to trolls, they just put them on status, deleted their comment and made them feel like a horses ass.

When Footytube 2.0 first came, I used to get into all sorts of trouble. I was put on status about 3 times, and was even told to stay away the site for a while...LMAO. Why? Because the mods didn't take crap from anyone.

Let me tell you a story. There was a user named ***** (or something like that) Man, I HATED his guts. He used to harass me, call me a glory hunter, make offensive comments regarding my I.Q. and knowledge about football. When Meebo was around, we used to have heated arguments...he even brought my family into it. Why am I telling you this? Well, if we have users like him become mods no one would troll on any chat. I mean, would someone like ******** troll on the Madrid chat if someone like @Slim was a mod? ...we all know Slim wouldn't think twice before deleting his idiotic comments.
The mods ether need to starting being more strict, or we need users like Slim or Rob12 as mods."

"Whatever man. We need a badass like yourself to take control of this chat."

^ I'd say he got exactly what he wished for really, so I don't really understand this sentence from his rant post earlier -

"I miss the good old days when we had @St1or and @White argue for days on pointless topics. Now, if a Madrid fan even dares to post a comment on the Barca chat they get told to back off and take it to their own chat. "

It seems therefore that it's only a problem and too strict, when the attention's on the user making the complaint. Now I'm gonna give you all the absolute bare bones of the problem we're having and then I invite you to discuss it with me, free of judgement, just don't swear at me please. People swear because they can't think of anything better to say so let's all prove how intelligent we are. Here's the issue for you guys.

- This site has changed over the years, different mods, users etc different approaches but there has been ONE CONSTANT. The overall aim of the site, which is "to promote healthy discussion, share knowledge and form relationships between fans of footballs clubs, rivals or alike, on an international level to the benefit of all."

- Lately, we have had fans of various teams coming to us personally and confiding that they don't feel welcome or encouraged to join in discussion on the Madrid and Barca pages, due to the animosity and vitriolic nature of the comments being slung back and forth at each other.

- As Realfan said earlier, we don't get paid $60k a week to mod this site. That means we have LESS patience for cleaning up the forums and making them more hospitable than if this were our day job and not simply something we volunteer to do.

- Lately a lot of regulars have been acting like real assholes to each other, beyond the normal back and forth banter on here. Given that this is preventing the site's main aim, this is a serious problem. You'd best believe that the owner of the site, who's invested time and money into creating this place, will not blink twice about wanting you gone, regardless of how long you've been here. Happily only 1 user has been banned lately but that could change.

^ THESE are the issues lads, now how do you want to play this? Respect is earned, that goes for how mods react towards your comments also. Taking Realfan for example, he's caused several problems of late and therefore we will deal more harshly with him due to him setting this precedence. When it comes to reacting to your comments, I consider how it's been received. If there's a few replies that are heading towards an argument, then quite frankly, you've been a jackass in your approach and need to learn how to structure your posts better. I've been on this site for 3 years, I've made wisecracks concerning just about every team on here on their forums and yet in 3 years, I've had 1 warning for my very 1st comment on the site. Banter doesn't have to be rude, if you're getting rude responses you need to adjust your game.

Thoughts? Replies? Speak plainly guys, let's resolve this garbage cos I'm tired of letting people off with a warning and my Ban Hammer's starting to get itchy. I'd rather talk this out and ban the REAL idiots than deal with petty squabbles between mildly irritating users day in and day out.

Oh and 1 final thing. With the exception of this candid convo, if you have a problem with a particular mod, DO NOT call them out publicly like Realfan chose to earlier. Either take it to their wall or approach a different mod, we always discuss any discrepancies. If he felt that Chelsea61 was out of line he should've said so in a much less disrespectful manner. And the notion of only a Madrid mod being able to say anything here is utter crap. Having Pejvl as a mod means 1 thing. It means we're more likely to spot an argument on here because there's a mod who happens to be on this page more often than say myself who's an Arsenal fan. Pedmar tried to tell me this the other day(another serial offender) and I set him straight and I'll do it to anyone else who makes an accusation of bias.

Now, gimme some feedback, Barcelona fans as well so I don't have to jump from page to page.
+2
To be honest you guys have been doing terrific job,I have been to many football sites and I know how many low Life wandering there freely ,thanks for guys we still have some intelligent topics to discuss peacefully.

One of main flaw is that, sometimes you are acting as some kind of convent teachers who would punish us if we question them.I had been on status for more than two months just because I questions one mod being too strict and didn't apologize to him because I didn't feel it that way. That's where problem lies, mods are letting their ego to come out rather than commonsense and showing their authorities brutal side though it's happen rarely.
+1
If you need to question a mod and/or his actions, do so discretely, preferably by posting on their wall. Doing so publicly is likely to make the mod defensive first of all as it's an opportunity for all the trolls to crawl out from under their rocks and take a free swing and it can feel like it's '1 mod vs the world' which can lead to the "authoritive brutal side" approach you're referring to. Secondly it's just not a good look for the forum and messes up the page. If you don't wish to approach the mod in contention, approach a different one and rest assured, it will be discussed, it always is. We are accountable just like any other user and problems are addressed and dealt with in-house. I'd be lying if I said I haven't apologised a few times for being too heavy handed and have been told I was out of line by another mod. We're human just like everybody else.

Thankyou for the feedback :) Guys don't be afraid to not hold back, this is your chance to speak plainly cos it ain't gonna get resolved any other way. Contrary to popular belief I hate banning people so I'd rather establish an acceptable standard and let you get back to enjoying the forums without us needing to deal so heavily with users. But I can't do that if you're not honest with me or refuse to speak up. You won't get in trouble unless you swear at me. No decor in this convo.
http://cdn.meme.am/instances/500x/59848156.jpg

Unintentional but hilarious nonetheless ;)
Lol whoops :( c'mon, stay on topic please :)
Sorry! To make up for my derailment...

It might be helpful if we try to be more accountable for our own fans (on our own forum and others' forums). I would rather receive feedback from a Barca fan that I'm crossing a line than a Real Madrid fan.
Mmm, well that's all about having the older users act as ambassadors, which I fully support. It took a few years to establish that system on the Arsenal forum, now it moderates itself. The issue lies with the fact that some of the older members on these 2 forums are more likely to encourage the argument than dissuade it. I basically want to come to an understanding with the regulars of both pages to improve relations and make this forum more attractive to outsiders. A lot of older members have been quite outspoken towards mods and that has to stop. Establishing proper leadership in the forums is a great idea but the responsibility needs to be shouldered by all the older regulars to be successful. A very good approach though Alfrodo. It also limits these damn accusations of bias from a mod if their own fans are telling them to pipe down.
Zlich, I respect your devotion to this site. Seems like it means life to you.
Cheers lol. Not even close though, I do this in my spare time. I just have a desire to preserve a good thing. I've seen far too many of the other sites on the net which are a free for all. I want there to be at least 1 place on the net where people can talk football without being abused for having a different opinion.
I'm a bit surprised to hear RealFan considered me to be a 'badass' mod he respected. I wasn't that strict at all I thought, but I did delete comments I deemed too rude/flamebait instantly and put the user on status without his/her knowledge immediately. Perhaps that constitutes as 'strict', I'd say it was just what any forum moderator was supposed to do: make a righteous unbiased judgement on posts and act according to that judgement.

More on topic though; I will try not to come across as a tutor, because I'm not. I was made a mod because Matt thought I was a civilized and respectable active member of the footytube society. No more, no less. I'm convinced the current mods are ALL of them very good picks: Pejvl is one of the Madridistas I respected most before he was made mod and (a common sight) he actually behaves even more exemplary now that he's a mod as well. And exactly because I think all the mods, even the ones from rival clubs (CHELSEA61, Pejvl), are doing a great job at remaining objective and polite, I do not know why you're asking this question, Zilch.

The mods are NOT at fault for the far too frequent debates about Messi and Ronaldo on our two fora, about the banter that grows out of control on the EPL fora or about spam. The way you guys deal with it is all that you can be blamed for. I understand some of the people's complaints that sometimes you are too strict, I even agree at times. But that doesn't mean they are right. If allowing some banter means it quickly spins out of control into flaming and angry users, it simply should NOT be allowed. When the users here can't act mature, they shouldn't be treated as mature people.

Personally, I'd love it if some banter was allowed. But: know your audience. Yesterday someone on the Chelsea forum posted the amount of trophies won by the major managers to showcase Mourinho's legacy. I posted Pep's stats (twice as many trophies a year as Mou) in the presumption that they'd understand it was to illustrate stats don't always paint the whole picture and that if they believed Mou was the best because of those stats they'd be wrong, but of course they all thought I was being rude even after I explained myself. Rude vote count up to 306 - booyah.

Footytube isn't a platform where the average user is intelligent and tolerant. It used to be on some pages when the community was smaller, but right now we are hardly different from goal.com users. Based on this, I would advocate a strict modding policy, because there simply are too many idiots, too many people who are quickly offended, too many very biased fans. Moderators can only be nice guys when the community is, and here, it is not. There is no room for friendly banter, unless it's made by a person who's respected by the vast, vast majority of that team's fanbase. Whenever I post on the Chelsea page (90% is praise for one of their players or a joke that's not offensive to them) they're all quick to jump me and somehow are able to twist my words into something offensive. It used to be different: scroll back to the first pages of any chat here, and you'll see I often joked around with any given fanbase, and they joked along with me. Now though, I have to consider every word I write in certain fora so as to not offend anyone. And on our own Barça page, I write scarcely little anymore, because long posts are ignored and the majority of the debates are hardly worth calling debates and even if they are, they're the same old same old.

Rant over, my point basically is that the mods ARE doing a good job and I would advise you guys to be even more strict with bad users BUT communicate well as to why you're doing what you do. When I was a mod, I proposed a system where as a mod you could give a user three 'strikes' and then he's perma-banned. I still think this would be useful: if a person doesn't learn from his mistakes and misbehaves all the time, he's not worthy to be part of our community. And finally: when you see a person saying he's disliking mod A or B because he's supposedly protecting his fanbase and being biased, say that you guys are fans in the first place, mods in the second. Because that's the truth.
Ronaldo the only player in La Liga to reach 30 goals in five separate seasons. #respect!

Siiii

lol great vine
I have an idea!

How about on the day of El Clasico, making cheeky comments (banter & trolling) should be allowed! For example, if(when) Barca lose the match, we can go over to their chat and make a couple of cheeky comments!

What do you guys say?
+2
Situation around the world is already tensed, with the whole situation with Ukraine,Russia and USA going at each other and things like that...do we really want to escalate this situation into the WW3 with El Clasico trolling? Because that's how you start a World War!
+2
NO need these things happen already and usually escalate into insults and ridiculous comments.

Chances are people will over step their bounds anyways even if they are told it is not the right thing to do.
Is there not enough cheeky comments as it is now?
@RealFan, you are raring to go aren't you? :D

Keep the banter with your real life friends buddy - more funny that way. On the internet it is generally not taken in the right way. We don't want to mop up another insult-fest or fight here.
I think its a great idea..... theres no reason why as a fanbase the madrid and barca side cant come to an agreement and make a 24 hour banter treaty :D
I would be down for that. Banter but nothing personal. I think we would have fun :p
Maybe personal comments shouldn't be allowed, like 'F*ck your mom'
You know, something like, 'PEPE had more touches on the ball than Messi. You mad?'
I am in,I would kindly ask to all mods not to come online on that precious day, even if they can't resist to come, they should take a side and join the party;-)

@Dr Gaza,I had put some warning message to your wall,if you don't act accordingly,I would gonna ban you for life time..
Good idea. Now I'm waiting for Kgb112 and zilch to come in and pee all over your party.
Just another day for RealFan. We are absolutely NOT going to allow trolling and personal insults on game days. We allow people to vent on their own forum and that is it.
'Just another day for Realfan'

What's that suppose to mean?
^What do you think it means? You consistantly break site rules mate. Now you're asking if we can alter the rules so you can troll and insult freely. Just another day...
how's it gonna be different from any other day?
+1
Look who's acting like they own the place. I volunteer my time to patrol this place because I have been chosen by the other mods for good behavior. You want to rant, fine. But you question my ability to do the job I've been selected for. You've done this with other mods. So, I'm taking your comment down.and since you're so sensitive, I'll take the image down as well. Happy? Because if you can't handle just that as a modicum of my respect we can take this further.
@RealFan, you need to relax as well man. Kinda hard asking someone to relax after attacking him full steam. Consider me tell you as a friend - not a Mod. Let this personal feud go for now, please.

See - the problem with banter is the inconsistency. 'Pepe having more touches than Messi' actually seems fine to me if both fanbases are open to banter but does not seem fine to you. So, it is going to be very very hard to decide a level of banter for the two groups. You cannot tell what is sensitive and what is not. That makes it a nightmare for Mods.

You know what, banter is actually quite healthy and enjoyable when done in good taste. See how DaGaza's comments in the Barcelona page right now. People are enjoying them. Tanmay is actually asking the Cules to raise their standards in banter. So yes, banter is great, when done in good taste and acceptable by rivals. The moment is gets annoying and s**t-hurling contest, it gets ugly.

My best suggestion would be - make friends with the Cules and they will allow you to banter them - same goes for Cules who want to have banter on the Madrid pages. It really is about respect for the rival users than mindless banter.

I think you will agree man. Let me know - preferably my wall.
yeesh
+1
I think this already happens. And not just on game days.
Chelsea61

No offense and I got nothing against u but it was a huge jackass move you made there... "just another day for realfan"... he was just suggeesting we had a lil fun and everyone but the mods thought it was a great idea, though I understand why mods would think otherwise....

Just letting u know... it was unnecessary and u basically came out of nowhere with a direct attack to a user.. and then when u heard an ear full, used ur power to delete the comment...
+1
DaGaza,

First, I partly agree with you. I still, from time to time, conduct myself with an insufficient level of tact. Rylan is an excellent mod, and he has done a fantastic job since joining the team. However, maybe this is one of those times that he could have had a bit more tact. RealFan has had comments deleted a couple of times in the last few weeks because they were flamebaiting or too close to attacking a specific user. Rylan has had to clean up at least one mess on the Chelsea forum after he came in and ruffled feathers. Rylan's comment was essentially saying -similarly to my point above-that RealFan has already shown a pattern of making cheeky comments. But again, probably could have used more tact.

Second, look at the thread again. It looks like about half the comments are saying "no no no no no! Not a good idea". So I disagree with your statement about "everyone but the mods thought it was a great idea".

Third, let's imagine this scenario:
"User A" says something to "User B" that is against site rules, but only just barely. Then "User B" retaliates with a 500 word essay that is filled with things that go against site rules. Who get's in trouble?
-In my opinion, if User A has never done something like this before he would probably only have his/her comment edited. Maybe a brief message on his/her wall that is a "heads up" to not do that again. But not an official warning. If User A has done that tons of times, and has received warnings before, I would probably put him/her on status. If they've already been on status for the same thing, I would probably ban them. However, even if it was User B's first offense, I would either give him/her a last warning or even put him/her on status or ban him/her (if what they said was harsh enough or contained racist, sexist, et cetera language).

In the situation with Chelsea61 and RealFan:
Chelsea61 has been a perfect user for years. So perfect that mods from several different fan bases unanimously nominated him to become a mod as well. RealFan, on the other hand, has been on status, has like 15 warnings from different mods on his wall, and is-frankly-known to the mod community as user who often stirs up trouble. Go check his wall if you want to see what I am talking about.

However, I am a professional counselor and there is a concept called "unconditional positive regard". It means that even when a client you are counseling has done the worst thing imaginable, you still have a professional obligation to treat them with respect, dignity, and communicate that you hold them in positive regard. Footytube has had a problem for years, and it is that sometimes our mods stop trying to show positive regard for certain users. In my opinion, we are MUCH MUCH MUCH better at this than we used to be. I've seen mods who used to take PRIDE in how condescending they can be. They would DEMAND that users apologize to them, tell them they respect them, et cetera. Fortunately, none of those people are still mods. In my opinion, mods need to treat all users with positive regard, even if they freaking hate their guts. As soon as a mod is no longer able to do that, he either needs to stop interacting with that user...or the mod community needs to check-in with each other and think about if the user in question has lost the privilege of being part of this community.

If no mod feels like they can treat a user with respect, it probably means that user has broken enough rules, enough times, or in an extreme enough way that their very presence will upset other users. I won't name names, but users have been banned via this process before. Now, I'm not saying that this applies to RealFan. But, his comment, that Rylan rightfully deleted, was absolutely un-defendable. If he talked to another user that way, and not a mod, and then didn't communicate that he wouldn't do it again he would be banned. However, users tend to get away with more when they say something to a mod. It's an odd dynamic, but it is definitely true. We try to avoid claims that we were being biased, and that means users often times can say things to us that would get them banned if they said it to another user.

Sorry for my novel, but this all needed to be said.
+1
It will be quite mess if this ' banter day ' especially after el clasico is allowed , thing is during and after clasico matches emotions run high and with that harmless of banter feels like an insult .

Also that will be the time lots of former banned trolls will make a new accounts just to stir the s**t up .

Its funny i remember few months back i suggested to disable both pages for a day or two after all clascico matches .
Oh!pretty lame from mods part, after all its a suggestion which mods would never going to let it happens, which means it will never going to happen.this is more like we say, what if there is no boundaries betwee.n nations or what if there is only one religion exist, this is pretty much saying about which never gonna happen. The only people who overreacted here are mods, especially that another day for particular user statement.regardless who suggested this, you guys should take this as serious as he mentioned.
What if Modric comes and nothing happens???
What if Santa comes and I've been a bad boy?

What if a meteorite crashes on the building I'm in right now?

When Modric will be back, he'll do his thing. If that's not enough, clearly there are other issues with your team. It's a coach's job to solve those puzzles. Besides, you're not playing as great as a few months ago, but you're still first. What else matters?
+1
We are only first because you guys have dropped points almost everytime we have. We seem to continue that trend while you will not.

also modric isnt alone the answer to I agree jereon.

Combination of James/Modric was ancelotti's answer

honestly if we had everyone fit we would likely be much more clear of barca than before villreal.
Well he's presence won't make things worst.that for sure. This midfield:

James---Modric---Kroos---Isco

was one of the best if not the best I've seen in a long time. Those 4 and Ronaldo in front of them gave us that unbeatable spirit that lead to a historic winning streak. If only Ancelotti would drop BBC and field a 4 man midfield with Lucas Sila fitting in for James until he's back. Ronaldo and Bale up front would be deadly with the support they would get from this kind of midfield.
pejvl,

exactly. but I would honestly drop bale. and also the way marcelo is playing if coentrao is ever fit enough I would play this

carvajal pepe ramos/varane coentrao

Isco Silva Kroos Marcelo
Benzema Ronaldo
Depends on for too Danny. If both Bale and Benzema are on there best and one of them has to sit down, then there is no doubt that Benzema will have to settle for the bench. Also Marcelo in Midfield with Coentrao behind him is an idea i was hoping to see in reality for some time now.
What if modric comes and it moves?
Answers to why Barcelona's use of the 433 is more effective than Real's use of it. Is it the front 3 or is it the midfield 3?

If most say it's because of the front 3 then please share your thoughts as to why and likewise if it's because of the midfield 3.
Well its clear their attack is connecting better than ours. Benzema and Bale (lets be honest, other than yesterday's match, Ronaldo has been pretty awful since the new year too) have looked nothing like the 'BBC' we are used too.

I keep telling myself Modric alone won't solve the problem, but he just might.
They work harder than bbc our midfield lost its balance without modric and james . I honestly would drop benz or bale and play four best mids
+3
I agree with you Danny, it would give us more stability. We have individual talent, we are missing balance as of now.

Yesterday's game we struggled because of one reason. The midfield was overloaded. Villareal's winger and strikers dropped deep and made it too hard for any of the three midfielders to create something, hence the excessive crossing as a second resort.

At this point seeing how Modric isn't back, I'd drop Bale to a winger and specifically tell him his job is that of a midfielder.

-----Silva-----Kroos-----
Bale------------------Isco
------Benz----Ronaldo

Ideally you would have James where Bale is, and have him move to striker possibly in space of Benz.

Once Modric is back a lot of our problems will get solved, Modric thrives in those tight spaces to create chances from deep.
+1
i think its front 3...MSN are working really well together especially suarez..he is a clever player and knows how to play according to others strengths...
Coming to Madrid the front 3 are finding it hard to strike balance..one players always looks out of form...first it was Benzema, then Bale and Ronaldo followed by that..now Bale is at it again...there is no consistency imo..i am not sure how can Modric solve this problem...
id honestly drop bale or make him play as a midfielder>forward and track back alot. James wasnt afraid to get down and dirty and then pick a pass.

when fit
James Modric Kroos Isco

now
:
Silva Illara
kroos isco
benz ronaldo

silva fills in on the flanks and kroos plays CAM with isco given some freedom to get up the pitch
+1
Danny: Bale suffered at tottenham when they played him in midfield. He's the type of player who needs lots of space because his pace is his biggest asset. Apart from isco your entire midfield and forward line is out of form. I think James and modric's injury has hit you hard. I think the team just needs time to settle down and play dirty just to grind out wins until the confidence is back.
we need to play four mids lol benzema> bale up top
How can a coach have any confidence in his ENTIRE team if he doesn't field a formation that would benefit from the ENTIRE team being fielded at one time or another. He's bound to play the heralded BBC but right now that trio aren't performing as expected. What's painfully obvious that that trio benefitted from the play of Modric, James and Isco. Modric moreso than the others but right now it really doesn't make any sense continuing with this 433 formation without feeling the wrath of the Prez.

Right now with ALL this talk of we're behind the coach, we respect his decisions, we're going to do everything to win the last 2 titles up for grabs. Carlo needs to hold his hands up and honestly say I've made a mistake and we need more "balance". The only way to achieve such is to shelf the 433 formation and bench one of the BBC or play Bale as the extra midfielder.

Many are calling for this change to 442, the only thing is if Carlo's able to do so it would say that his 433 system at Madrid with our current lineup was a bump in the road after Modric's injury.

Let's see how good Carlo is now. He was on the sidelines when they made their feelings known and he obviously reads the news so let's see what he comes up with against A.Bilbao.
Let me first say that we won't win the La Liga. This team is too inconsistent, plus Carlo isn't a league winning coach. There is a problem with the team, We Real Madrid fans need to realize that Cristiano is no longer the Best player in the team. It's Isco ,and I think Ancelotti needs to understand that the left wing isn't bale's best position , it's either the middle or the right wing.
+2
Ok..
+2
So 22 wins in a row represent inconsistency? Alos how did you come to that conclusions about Ronaldo after he was our best player yesterday? Also Bale always plays on the right,it's a rare occasion to see him on the left. Way to much negativity man,we are still top of the league and we have been there for some time now,and we have some core players coming back from injures in next weeks.
+1
Ancelotti has won Serie A, English Premier League & Ligue 1 titles and is IMO. on his way to winning La Ligua. March 22 will decide it I think. Would you rather win CL or La Liga? Sometimes it comes down to where the focus is.
For me it's always CL over any other competition. The best scenario is to take both titles of course.
+1
Right now our best players are Carvajal and Marcelo.
Carlo needs to deliver the league title this season. The CL would be a bonus.
Carlo actually has a bad track record of the league, so I do think the league is priority seeing how no one retains the CL anyways.
Di Maria hasn't scored a league goal since October. Only two assists since November. And he's only getting criticized now.
+5
Can't say I'm surprised,he had those periods in Madrid as well. Oh and,LVG is playing him on the wing,so he's basically wasting his talent. Di Maria is a vary bad winger, and one of a kind CM.
+2
he was also played as a striker numerous times
LVG screws around with the positions of his players so much...Rooney in Mid, Di Maria as a Striker, Mata on bench...
between matchday 13 and matchday 21 he played 29 minutes of football. his form was interrupted by a long injury layover and he hasnt recovered form since.

he has played 7 league games since he got back from injury and has 3 assists. not great but not horrible either. his form has been patchy but i think he will get his act together soon. he is just starting to get media flak because his hot start bought him some time, his injury bought him some time, but now he's more or less ran out of time in a way.
I was certain that our next match was against Schalke, but looks like Athletico comes first and than that one. Oh boy, that will be a tough one, away from home too. The bright side is Ronaldo's performance in the second half,he was all over the pitch, creating chances. Shame Assenjo had an even better game,or he would have walked out with a hat trick easy.
