“oh my God! Why am I telling it? Why am I saying it if you see everything, you’re anazing by God! GOAL! Is it true Pereira? It was a goal!? I can’t believe it! How could he do this!? By God ladies and gentlemen! What a play, he keeps on surprising us. How am I supposed to yell and scream this goal!?

Spanish one,Lol..
http://as.com/diarioas/2015/06/01/english/1433168999_761671.html

Chiellini says this after Luca Toni finishes at as Seria A joint top scorer ;)

actually im sort of thankful for chiellini words , we all know what happened with others that said something similar before the match .
+1
Yep. They defend better in Italy. They defend better in England. Messi only does it in Spain because it's easy playing there. It's just that Spain has the best European record for the past 10 years. Or Spain has the three highest scoring players in ucl history. The 220+ goals that messi, cr7 and Raul scored in ucl must be mostly vs Spanish teams.
+3
Messi's next target = Chiellini....

If a 38 years old(Toni) is top-scorer in serie A...it's obvious what a 27 year old GOD(Messi)(IN FORM) would do to serie A :P
+1
PSG: check!
Kompany: check!
Boateng: check!
Koke: check!

Chiellini: Messi wouldn't have scored that goal against Athletic in Italy
Chiellini: pending!

btw Malik, I was looking to see if I am safe for top 25 and looks like you're gonna go down to the last game! The dude behind you has some serious fire power for the last game :p best of luck@
+1
He's right, the defending in Italy is too strong -_-

This is Chelsea reject Salah running through entire Roma defense
http://gfycat.com/BitterBlackChinchilla
@Franky4fingers
his nickname is Egyptian Messi, i dont want to see what Messi would do, it'd be unfair
+1
@st10r, yup checked it after sometime now and most probably I'm going down :/ finally can brag about the approx 100 points I was not awarded at start of the season for German cup :(

Though the guy below me & I have 3 similar players and they will be the main player. I don't think his juv mid will start anyways , Lucho might bring me down , I hope my 12 points lead come in handy :/
Allegri : man marking messi is impossible.
Tevez: messi is from another planet.
Buffon:barca is almost unbeatable.
Messi: we must be our best to beat juve because they have great players like tevez.

I thought the build up n hype around final wasn't Good enough,it's all soft talks.it's refreshin.g to see someone break the combo and did some foul mouth.I want more from juve players:-)
4ever

Don't worry, most sites are doing their best to misquote Juve players.

Don't get it though. Why must there be any hostility?

anyway, pre-match interviews are useless anyway. All players say the same thing all the time. They are contracted to do so.
+4
Just kidding though little bit banter would be fine.

I haven't seen much wrong in what King Kong said, that's what his opinion, but it's nice to knowing that messi given perfect reply for those who talked this way in this season..
It's not like the Europa league and Champions league have been dominated by Spanish sides since 2006 or anything right?

Lionel Messi's New Boots for the Champions League Final Revealed by Adidas | Bleacher Report

It is designed for improved traction. If it was difficult to bring him down, now he won't go down at all. Adidas decided against encrusting it with diamonds because tests showed it caused the player to dive like a dolphin.
+1
Always knew Messi was a cheat , first that Harmon growth gave him this extraterrestrial powers , then he used that tax money to buy all this ballon dor's and other awards and now he is forcing adidas to make this boots , SMH

Also he have tattoos and don't donate blood ;)
I suppose very soon its going to be fashionable to be a barca fan again.
+1
It always has been. Designers write on their resumes they are Barça fans ;)
+2
to be honest, regardless of the football you play, I have always thought that the barcelona jerseys were not very attractive.

However I will admit that my very first jersey was a barcelona jersey.
Anyone know anything about Don Andres' injury? Is it serious? I bet he will play the final anyway like the 2008/09 but it would be great if he was a 100% for the final.
He had some strain on his calf. He was jumping with the team during the trophy presentation celebration so it seems like the injury wasnt that serious. But we might not see him play in the final.
Here's the list of Forwards' assists with forward passes (through balls and not square)

Notice the difference.
+3
Wish I could see more names on that. Annoyed the only comparisons are of Messi and Ronaldo. Definitely shows how absolutely amazing Messi is.
Laurent Blanc regarding Pogba: "We have barely had any talks. He might sign for a big club and then stay for another year with Juventus."

s**t JUST GOT REEEEEEAAAL!

MSN
Pogba Busqt Rakitic

ho ho ho!!!
+3
That is very telling... GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Now that the season is over we can start with transfer rumors even though we are not allowed to make any haha.
TBH i don't think he fits our system well, we need a lot of defensive work back there since we have SNM in the front not to mention the price tag he already have

i think the likes of Veratti, Rues, Modric, Koke suits our gameplay better
Yeah at this moment I prefer veratti over Pogba.
He works really hard on the field. Unlike yaya he actually runs up and down the field during attack and defense. We already have a holding midfielder. I'm not too sold on veratti's passing abilities. He holds the ball really well and works hard on defense but he isn't as good as xavi. I think rakitic could take up xavi's role and pogba could replace Iniesta.

Koke is the same as verratti. Not a star passer imo. Where will Reus play? Why would reus come to barca to be on the bench?
Pogba is perfect for us,my only concern is,bringing Pogba means,we are dropping our policy of recruiting from La Masia. He is not a defensive mid fielder as most thinks here,he is cm who offers great defensive capabilities.

verratti is Dm,we might probably dont need him.Reus!love it,but we have to sell ney ,otherwise it would be waste of talent.
Best midfield in world football and best attack plus a defence that's only conceded 20 league goals, fk me.
Maybe I'm alone here, but does anyone feel like we don't have a huge need for him? Our midfield is great as is.
I wouldn't mind having him. Suarez was overkill for his pricetag but look at what he's done for us. I wouldn't mind spending the big bux on someone like Pogba/Verratti knowing their potential.

Plus, having them also means clubs like Madrid won't have them :p
That is true. We don't really need him and I dislike the current attitude of the club. Its a galatico policy which belongs to our rivals.

However in terms of long term success for the club it is important that we buy young leaders and build a team around them with recruits from la masia. If we continue to behave like this we might have a strong team for the short term but we will lose our youngsters like Dennis Suarez, rafinha who will look for first team action elsewhere. If the current team is good enough to play for the next 3-4 years then who gets the axe? These are difficult decisions that the club has to make for the future but we definitely need someone to take over from Iniesta in the next year or so.
There should be a new camera angel called messi eye view, wonder how beautiful it would be to watch football, can't he play by wearing go pro cam or google glass, I really want to see how he sees the space between players which even we as an audience can't see it. :)
+16
I always thought we are very lucky to witness such a phenomenal player, especially us barca fans who watch him play week in and week out. Those who don't watch him play often are surely missing out on something...
He reminds me of the flash, he must see everything in slow motion.
I don't see what the big deal is. He either dribbles past the whole team or chips it across the field over their defense for Neymar to volley in. So predictable and easily stoppable.

Crank it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5UfNmZ4-Pg
+1
Its really annoying when people cross the ball to the winger in fifa. Messi does the same s**t on the field. His diagonal balls are so hard to intercept because it isn't just neymar but also alba and Iniesta making runs to follow up.
I can't believe people are actually talking about Neymar and going as far as calling him immature.First of all his flick over the defender has nothing to do with disrespect, it's a move that's only used by players who have the confidence to do it. On top of it people are saying he dived.. I guess being clearly pushed is a dive now? To those speaking badly of him, I say they are immature. Football is all about expressing yourself and having fun on the pitch and especially while winning. Neymar is a special type of player that's produced by Brazil every once in a while. If anything he is very mature for his age in that he walked away while the other players should have seen red for attacking him after fouling him. It made me really glad that Busquets and the team ran to defend him, and as true fans I like to see people who show love to a player who did nothing wrong. Stop trying to accuse him to fit in and sound unbiased. The truth is Neymar did everything right in that move and was obviously fouled.
+5
I saw the clip. What's the big deal? He tried to be audacious and he gets crucified for it!? Bah. They talk about respect and arrogance and this and that, but it's all nonsense. Crucify the racists and the bigots. Let the Brazilian wonder kid do what he does best and leave him alone.
+5
Yeah what a joke that was. Mad respect for Neymar coming out to say he won't change the way he plays. Players like him is the reason we call it the beautiful game. If they think that little flip is disrespectful, they should check the replay of what Messi did to them on that first goal.
+2
to be honest the game are missing players like Neymar that does the fancy stuff and make other defenders feel silly. Ronaldinho did it on a daily basis.
+2
To be honest I don't see anything wrong with his move. Ath.Bilbao players overreacted. sore losers..
Still looking for links, but my local channal are reporting that lucho also came up against him and said he would have done same if he was an athletic player.I think people in spain aren't really font of these kind of acts,or you should be dinho.

The best part is Neymar was so calm when every provocation happened, good for him..
I can understand both sides. I agree there should be more flair and creativity in the game yet at the same time I feel for the Athletic Bilbao players. Their pride was on the line and Neymar was smearing the win in their faces.

What I cannot agree with is the way they reacted. If I were ref, I would have sent off one or more of their players. You cannot intimidate and otherwise threaten a player like they did.
To take offense like Bilbao did is understandable if they were to view it as disrespectful. The thing is they only feel it was disrespectful because they don't see themselves as equals to Barcelona.

When Messi took down Boateng, nutmegged everyone and just made everything in his path look like parking cones... it was all good because it was against BIG teams. Bilbao thinks they are small why? they were in a cup Final. Neymar wasn't rubbing it in their face that they were losing, imagine if he had done that against Terry? Double standards are dumb in this case, I wish players were congratulated for giving the crowd a show at a big game. Maybe I am guilty of being as evil as Neymar the Horrible.
Did anyone see Xavi intervening? Not only did he shield Neymar from the Bilbao players, after the final whistle he also put his arm round him and told him something. Fairly sure he told him not to care about them and to continue playing the way he did.

Yesterday I said I didn't like what Neymar did, but I was wrong. If you outskill your opponent, even with a trick that ridicules him, you can only say it's a part of football. However, I do prefer players who play it simple when the win is secured. Instead of a rainbow flick, Neymar could've just passed it back or hold the ball up rather than make the defender look like a fool. Then again, most fans will disagree with me and love to see those tricks.
+1
Tbh the little kid in me that admired Ronaldinho smiles when Neymar pulls off awesome tricks, just brings back good memories.
+1
Lol I was channel surfing and found out that there was handball champions league final going on. Barcelona defeated some hungarian team yay! Barcelona's best player was Arda Turan(look-alike?) who has apparently switched sports after practicing with throwing shoes.

And Puyol was there watching the match!!
This must be a sign that we will win CL next saturday!
