After the Scottish independence referendum vote, Catalonia is looking to have its own independence vote. It might take a very long time if a vote is even allowed in Spain on Catalan independence which would set off secession vote in different parts of the country. Its been said that IF Catalonia ever secedes from Spain, FCB will not be able to play in La Liga. Franchises based in Canada play in NHL and NBA so I don't see why teams from Catalonia cant play in La Liga. If FCB isn't allowed to play in La Liga then Madrid can finally be called the best club in Spain. ;)
Don't know what the fuss,Monaco is an independent country, yet they are playing in French ligue.but I think la liga would change rules and let Catalans includes la liga.if it's not,la liga gonna slowly die.
By Madrid you mean Atletico right?
+5
TBH what i have read so far , its likely that Barcelona will still play in Laliga , my only concern is that officiating will became more worse if Barcelona get independence from Spain .
I've always said that the way our barca system would work perfectly is with a strong and fast defence this is why we may have lost all those titles last season (injuries aside).
so far Mathieu has been my biggest surprise with great performances all round. he is excellent at reading the game and intercepting play and has enough pace to compete with the fastest strikers. I specially like his passing I have been surprised by his ability to distribute the ball around. IMO he has been the reason why our defence has improved monumentally since last season.

Bartra need more minutes which he is not getting IMO to improve

Pique is still a doubt although this season he has been consitent at least which is more than what i can say from last season.

Vermalen....injured hope for the best with him

please no more Masch at CB he we could even play a 442 with him and busi in the midfield as a defensive option but pleaseee no more CB masch

Tomorrow begins the Champions League group stage! I know Barca won't play tomorrow, but as a football fan watching the opening anthems all around Europe as teams enter their respective stadiums, the atmosphere, passion, all that will be something to behold for sure. I really can't wait! Its gonna be an exciting year! Goodluck to everybody, and their respective clubs from here on out. May the best team win :)

Don't be silly about the Cristiano elbow guys, they already banned Simeone because Cristiano punched Godin in the face. Justice was done!

Plus it's not like he bit anyone, we all know how deadly a bite to the arm could be. Anyone would rather get punched in the face, its much less painful, and violent.
Cristiano has been letting his frustration get the best of him a lot this season:

http://video.kooora.com/player.aspx?vid=276550

He repays a late challenge by Miranda with a elbow to the face.
+4
Lol,whenever any atleti player came near to him,he seemed to think it is Perez.so I can't blame him for doing this.
This is La Liga. The ref didn't see it. Let's all pretend nothing happened.
Six month ban with jail time.
+1
Pejvl, I know it hurts, but reality! ;/
Pejvl,

Nah, Cristiano is a first class citizen so he operates under different limits than third tier scum like Suarez. It ain't 3 incidents in a lifetime, it's 3 incident per month that's Cristianos limit.
+7
Like I said, 6 moth ban and jail time. Case closed.
What a scum for getting away without a ban! Poor Miranda only had a good intentions to break his legs. This things in football must be punished,so lets all just focus and watch Ronaldo and other Madrid players, and forget about all other who do same or worst things. For example,we should not talk about Song elbowing Mandukic right in the back for no reason, let's just focus on Madrid and hang them all!

Like I said, 6 moth ban and jail time. Case closed.

Such blatant hypocrisy, being so flippant about what happened just because it's your darling player. I'm sure this is just the new changed you, and you'll treat future incidents from all players with the same leniency.
+7
Song got a red card. Suarez much more. Everybody focused and condemned both Song and Suarez, but Cristiano has a second incident in 4 games escaping with a single yellow, and lo and behold, a madridista appears to try to white wash it. As I said, he's a first class citizen.
+4
Pejvl,

It's astounding how wrong you are. I don't nitpick nor look for these incidents, they're on the front page of the Soccer reddit. Interesting enough, even though you claim that Barcelona is full of dirty players, there has been no incidents showing up there since the season started. That of course is because your claims are nothing but biased drivel, which is to be expected because you're still desperately trying to deny and deflect because you're not big enough to just accept it.
+12
The thing that pisses me off is that you only look at Madrid for this things, nowhere else. If you're bothered with injustice in football, check your own club first. But really it doesn't matter that your club is full of dirty players, and that there is millions of dirty players around the world. The only important thing to you is that you nitpick every Madrid game and look for incidents like this. Do the same with Barcelona games or any other club and you'll find the same things happening. But you're not going to talk about that, you'll just keep quiet and act like nothing happened.
+12
Pejvl,

So now you've gone from trying to deflect by saying that Barca players do it too to trying to deflect by going off on a completely unrelated tangent? Never mind that you're wrong on both accounts.

Heat of the moment. Show me a incident that isn't heat of the moment please. Everything that happens on the pitch is heat of the moment. Yet somehow Madridistas like you only seem to realize that when it's a Real player that's done something. Always quick to condemn others yet first in line to explain away anything and everything Real players do.

Just out of interest, should we look up what you had to say about the latest Suarez incident?
+11
The thing that pissed me off the most was when Barca faced Celtics and Neymar kicked the guy from behind and fouled him. Madrid fans were going crazy because Neymar kicked a player...players get kicked all the time it's part of the game. But when Ronaldo elbows someone, oh it's nothing.
+3
Barca board and fans always ridiculed us when we spent big money on players during transfer windows, while they were doing the same exact thing. The only difference is,you splashed big money but acted like you don't do that, like you're better and above other clubs. Now the same thing with this, portraying it like Madrid is the only team with players that get lost when somebody tackles them with both legs from behind. Now that is the definition of hypocrisy and bias.

This is the Madrid derby, heated moments after fouls like this are usual. This is only a big deal for people who a biased against Madrid, even Miranda didn't even flinched, dived or acted after that, cause he probably got a lot worst during the match, and he most probably also did the same to an opponent player. And of course you didn't notice Raul Garcia intentionally putting his knee in Coentraos back during the first half. I will conclude it with this post, and I apologies,my inability to not respond cause this pointless biased conversation.
+13
^lol, you must realize there must be equal n opposite reaction when you are making some ridiculed posts.I do remember you were trying to prove messi also diver with unclear video.even before you posted lot of stupid arguments like you were talked aboutneymar diving n all in el classicos.

After all,we are talking about a guy who said he n rm been living in injustice and never get a favour from referee,so going after him is perfectly reasonable.
+15
If that was Messi, it would have been the end of the world.
+16
Presenting Pejvi's response style:

Act 1: Exaggeration and belittling the incident through clever use of hyperbole: "6 moth ban and jail time"

Act 2: False comparison but exaggeration continues: "Poor Miranda only had a good intentions to break his legs." - Miranda fouled Ronaldo and got a yellow for it so bringing up Miranda's foul doesn't even make sense.

Act 3: Unrelated comparison continuing illogical post: "we should not talk about Song elbowing Mandukic right in the back" - Song got a red card and ban for it. CR7 got away 2nd time with it. Apples to apples? nope!

Act 4: Deflection by focusing on others: "you only look at Madrid for this things, nowhere else."

Act 5: Deflection continues: "If you're bothered with injustice in football, check your own club first. But really it doesn't matter that your club is full of dirty players" - Except we actually don't have "dirty" players of the caliber of Madrid's players. Barca consistently is the team which fouls the least in Europe along with Bayern. But screw stats or facts. Its not even close but in Pejvi's world this false equivalency works just fine.

Act 6: Bring up unrelated topic to soften the incident: "Barca board and fans always ridiculed us when we spent big money on players during transfer windows, while they were doing the same exact thing."

Basically, Barca are such hypocrites they criticize us for spending but do the same except we're a good 200m pounds ahead of Barca in the past 10 years but its still the same. Also, since Barca fans are hypocrites when it comes to spending, the same argument can be made for elbowing which doesn't make sense but hey, who's working with facts anymore.

FINAL ACT: Heat of moment! No comments!

In all of this, not a single word saying, "Hey, CR7 threw an elbow 2nd time in 4 games. He needs to pull his s**t together." Nope. Not even once.

APPLAUSE!

This is exactly what i picture after reading some of the arguments made by Madrid fans

Guys this has really got to stop. You can't drop your pants and start pissing on each other in the name of an argument.

If you guys can't have basic regard for other people while arguing with them, I can think of other websites which are better suited to your needs.

lol Malik...that was a good one...hahahaha

Tanmay, I just opened my zipper. Its much more convenient.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We had a nice lead last year as well and by the end of the season we were struggling to keep up.
+2
Yeah, agreed with Franky. With Tito AND with Tata, the real issue was the second half of the season, they both had fantastic starts.

I do think that the new faces bring a badly needed new vibe, energy we lacked before. Both Barça & Dortmund look very much improved, I'm happy.
This is the team I wanna see on Wednesday.

---------------Ter Stegen-------------
----Montoya--Masch--Bartra--Adriano
------------------Busi------------------
-----------Rafinha---Xavi------------
------Sandro-----Messi----Neymar------

I have never seen that much depth in our team before. Besides Messi, Busi and Montoya, all of the players I mentioned didn't start against Athletic (Masch doesn't really count). I also wanna see Douglas getting some playing time depending on how the game goes.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL montoya started last game you fool ;)

Dickism aside , Depth we have this season is amazing but we also have to remember this depth and pool of players are for next season too , so this was suppose to happen , i just hope Luis Enrique manages to satisfy whole squad and don't loss any player .

Well Alves is back, he can start instead of Montoya. I would rather Montoya start against Levante. It will be a tough game against them and I don't want Alves crossing the game away.
I would be really happy is Montoya is implemented into our starting lineup instead of Alves. Not that Montoya is something special, but when he play, Alba becomes much more dynamic, and unlike Alves, Alba's attacks aren't a waste of time
"Messi is the best player in the world. Not just because he scores goals but also because of his assists... He’s the best in the world in every facet of attack, and if you've noticed, he’s also a brilliant defender... He does things in training that I've never seen before. Not even by Captain Tsubasa or on the PlayStation...”

True,I am playing him in either busi place or xavi's because I have abundance front line includes neymar.Suarez, tevez and alexis and he is such better player than busi in dm position.

By, pique will win ballon d or,if he plays the way he playing in play station, winning every duals and tackles;)
How about the defense getting 3 clean sheets.
& only in last game we conceded first shoot on target this season
