Watch the Iniesta vs Sevilla clip. We're going to really miss that magician when he retires.
Yeah, Andrés was magical. Messi, him, Busi and Piqué proved who are our most reliable sources of success throughout the years. They were all absolutely world class once again when it mattered the most.

Messi was the X-factor, The three passes were out of this world ( The third one being the one that resulted in Banega clipping Neymar and being sent packing )

Mathieu was solid after he came on and Neymar was good too especially his workrate was superb.

^He did a great job helping Pique out.
Messi didn't trust him, otherwise he could have been on score sheet now. Loved how passionate he was, sprinted like Bolt into Sevilla's penalty box.
Inesta was calm in midfield and he was going passed players like there is no tomorrow. He get out of tight situations and started attacks numerous times.
I was just watching Messi videos and I found myself saying woooow again.

Thanks budd, good luck on the CL this coming weekend
yep, congrats on the double
damn, nice season Barca
Is it okay to call this team a dynasty? A dynasty consists of the same players who have consistently in the same team and dominated the sport over a large period of time. Its more of an American term but its applicable to many teams in the past in different sports. Lakers were a Dynasty with Shaq and Kobe. Bulls were a dynasty with Jordan. In football, Real Madrid with Di Stefano had a long period of success domestically and in Europe. Ajax did the same with Cryuff and Bayern with Beckenbauer. Arrigo Sacchi's Milan dominated for a few years in the late 80s with Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard.

But since then only Messi's Barca has dominated the sport over the last 12 years. We have won 4 UCL's, 8 League titles and 4 CDR's. In addition to this Barca has won 6 Super copas, 3 UEFA super cups and 3 CWC's. Thats a grand total of 28 trophies in 12 years which also includes 2 trebles. The only club team that has achieved this much or more is Real Madrid in the 1950s and 60s who won 8 La ligas, 5 European cups and 1 CDR. Its difficult to compare quality of opposition because the rules were different as well as conditions. UCL is much more difficult to win these days but teams also have a better lineup of superstars within the same team.

But the thing that you can definitely compare is the schedule. Di Stefano never played more than 45 games in a season for Madrid. Messi and Cr7 regularly play 55 to 60 games in a season minus injuries. Fitness levels are much higher now but its applicable to all top teams who use entire armies of doctors and physios who monitor players day and night and keep them in top condition. Has Barca in this period eclipsed every club dynasty in the history of football? You could probably say that.

The other interesting thing is longevity which also has to do with the fact that Barca's financial position has become stronger in the last 10 years. Messi has been at the core of this but the movement started a couple of years prior to him. Barca is lucky to have their golden generation in this period but it will be difficult to imagine that Barca won't be in the top 3-4 teams in europe in the next 5 years. We have managed to pass the baton from Ronaldinho to Messi. Now Neymar is next in line to lead this team. Our midfield core is almost gone but Busquets will be around for another 3-4 years along with Pique. Messi will be our next great playmaking midfielder. It is going to difficult to replace Iniesta but we have Rafinha, Denis Suarez and Sergi Samper who could provide us depth. La Masia has not produced a striker in years and we might not for a few more years since we seem to concentrate more on midfielders than strikers. We definitely don't produce good CB's who stick around for long within La Masia. With reinforcements who learn to play the Barca way, it isn't impossible to imagine Barca continuing their success.

The dominance is going to stop soon but we will continue to be amongst the top clubs in Europe for a very long time.

If this team is not a dynasty idk what is. The Messi Era Barca is undoubtbly one of the best teams ever, if not the best ever.
I don't doubt the fact that we have set new standards in world football and it will take much to break those records set.
you almost lost! but pique.. arrrghhhh!! he was superb last night. It was a great comeback from you guys to win the match 2-0 by going 1 man down against tough sevilla side.however their players looked tired otherwise it could have been a disaster for you. when sevilla player got red card i knew it was over for them.

As of inesta, i have no words for him!!! once he gets the ball it becomes so hard to dispossessed him then. what i also noticed yesterday that he uses the space of football pitch really well.

congratulations guys.
