Now that Neymar is cule,Barca need to buy Hummels,Hadanovic and Isco, than Barca is complete!
i doubt isco will fit in barca. he can play in iniesta position but you already have cesc there
Isco? Isco? ISCO????? ISCO!?!?!?!??!
For anyone who plays Football Manager. It is on sale on steam right now. For me it is 13.60 (66% off) I already have it but if anyone is interested

Also, check out this picture :)

I think Neymar will fit in fine

^FM 2014 will be out in a few months, probably not worth investing in FM 2013 at this point though.
FM usually comes out in November or so. If you are like me, it is well worth it as I get 200+ hours on FM (I paid roughly 25 bucks for it 2 weeks after release though)
Pep has a mountain to climb at munich next season
He is going into a club that won the league and CL without him. That is scary
the irony is he said he left barca because he couldn't motivate his players enough anymore.

if bayern win the treble this season, he may find it difficult to motivate them for more success, especially considering the manner in which they won these trophies - in a very convincing fashion.

imo that's one of the reasons teams only last 3-4 year cycles. once you win, many players will lose motivation, so you sign some new hungry trophy-less players lol.

People learn through repetition. Some people don't read at all.

People need to understand that the chat has 10 comment threads. When you post two consecutive ones that is 20% of the front page and you move another comment thread to the second page. This will reduce the quality of posting on the page, something that the majority of us are trying to improve.
Just some analysis,

2009 - Barca CL
2010 - Inter CL - Bayern in Final - Inter beats Barca in Semis
2011 - Barca CL
2012 - Chelsea CL - Bayern in Final - Chelsea beats Barca in Semi
2013 - Bayern CL - Bayern in Final - Bayern beats Barca in Semis.

Barca and Bayern are the most consistent performers in CL in the last 5 years.

And every club that beats Barça wins the UCL. Also a noticeable factoid.
What happened at 2008?
2008 Manchester United actually knocked out Barcelona and went on to beat Chelsea on pens in Moscow
Since 2008 Bayern and United have been in the finals.

OFFICIAL: NEYMAR IS A CULE!

Confirmed by Neymar himself on his twitter and instagram:

http://instagram.com/p/ZwXvcIxtnX/

To sum it up, he will sign the agreement on Monday and he gave thank you's to all of Santos's fans for supporting him for 9 years of his career.

edit: Barcelona website: http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/detail/article/neymar-da-silva-to-join-fc-barcelona-for-the-next-five-seasons

edit: TotalBarca sums up the transfer pretty well:

FC Barcelona announced via Twitter Saturday night that Brazilian winger Neymar da Silva Santos Jr. (21) has signed a five-year deal with the Catalan club. The transfer fee is believed to be between €25-28 million for 100% of Neymar’s rights, plus two friendly matches between Barça and Santos, in addition to the widely accepted-but-unconfirmed €10 million prepayment Barcelona put down for the player last year.

I'll just go dance by myself then

Barcelona have now confirmed it as well.
*Dances like a madman*

After a disappointing evening, a great night after all. Now for Dortmund to do the same and strengthen their team, and we'll have our Barça-Dortmund CL final next year ;)

THREE CHEERS FOR NEYMAR!
HIP HIP HOOOORAY!
Marca reports the 28 mil is for 55% shares. So a total 50 mil. That was the money santos demanded.Barca had previously offered 22 mil for santos (40 mil for 100%).But they did not accept that.So there is no way 28 mil for 100% shares.

http://www.marca.com/2013/05/25/en/football/barcelona/1369502379.html
This is freaking nuts. I guess we got one of the 3 transfers we wanted out of the way before summer even started! HIP HIP HOORAY!

Now for the other 2.
+1
Avinash, the deal is not 50 million. Not sure how you, and Marca believe it is when every single source says otherwise
+1
Then hats off Rossel...
Wtf? Honestly Rosell is freaking awesome! One of the best transfers ever!
Couldn't be happier. If the details are correct this is a dream deal!
what did you guys think of Ilkay Gundogan. i feel like he could also potential replace xavi at barca.
Very unlikely mate, he's the reason Dortmund let Gotze go. I can't see them being willing to let Gundogan go as well, they have nobody else good enough to promote to the creative midfielder role.
+5
We have a Thiago.
+4
We will usually refrain from buying promising youngsters from other clubs. The reason is that it sends a very bad message to our Cantera. If Gundogan needs to be bought when Thiago, Deulofeu are in line, then what incentive is there for players to fight for a place in the first team and not leave for a big club like Pique and Fabregas did? To be signed by Barca you need to be way better than the cantera players *and* at least 3-4 years older. Neymar, being a marquee signing, is the only exception to this rule. That's my reading of the situation anyway.
Neymar decides between offers from Barcelona and Wigan.

Hopefully he makes the right choice. XD What a cheeky writer

IT IS DONE!
haha nice one Ldinho
Why Gotze wasn't playing? Can someone explain please?
Hamstring :/
+2
He was suffering from douchebaggery
+17
Supposedly injured, probably overexaggerating it.
+4
And why would he NOT wanna play the BIGGEST GAME of his young career?? Nah!!! was definitely not 100% fit for the game.
Are you kidding me? You ask why he wouldn't want to face his new club in the Champions League final Bayern missed out on so many times that yet another miss would completely crush their team spirit for months, if not a year?
+6
^Calm down mate, I know you're upset, but don't say anything that might get you on status. (Am not saying you have, just to pre-empt)

I can see what you both are getting at, but only he will know if he's fit enough.
+1
Thanks guys for the responses. I think Jeroen is right. Why would one of the key players for Dortmund would suddenly become injured in a final against his new club? Why it wasn't Reus, Lewandowski or any another important player? It was just sad to see Klopp losing after such a great effort. Although, on the other hand, it would've been hard for the Bayern fans to lose another final. So I think Bayern deserved it more.
Bayern deserved it more from all the destruction they left behind as they went through the CL. But who doesn't love an underdog story?
Tito is right, there are lot of similarities bw pique n hummels.both are ball players would always like to run forward n taking the shots, error prone in major matches and the best when they are in good form..though I would like him to join barca...
+1
Hummels was not at his best tonight, but that was IMHO clearly because Schmelzer, the left-back, was ALWAYS out of position and left Hummels alone with 2-3 Bayern attackers.
+2
^right, and i believe if Klopp could have fixed that problem, their defense could have been more organized.
I don't think Kloppo could've prevented that, but he could have let us be more efficient in attack. Grosskreutz and Kuba were extremely poor on our wings. It would've been good to have subbed in Sahin for Grosskreutz with Gündogan on that left wing and either Kuba off and Schieber as another striker with Reus on the right wing, or Leitner instead of Kuba.
I believe if he could have subed Shahin for Grosskreutz just after equalizer,Dortmund could have focused more on defending and they might have prevented rubben's goal which was a series of CBs mistakes.
