What if Wenger would manage Barca ?!
Please no. No disrespect to the man but his Arsenal side stopped playing good football like 5 or 6 years ago. His team can't defend nor attack. He got destroyed by big teams in CL over and over again.
+1
I would actually pay to see that.
to be fair to Wenger, he didn't have financial backings due to the stadium development and the fact that his best players all left for a direct rival heavenly backfired and Arsenal competed for so long with the Top 4

3 goals came from the left side where Roberto plays!
+4
S. Roberto is a la masia product and although he is liable in defense, he will never get criticized by cules. Same with Pique. 18 goals allowed in 12 games. But cules will easily criticize Dembele for wearing a toque and glasses watching a game from stands.
We played so sloppily while Betis played their hearts out and courageously attacked when they had the chance. Bartra and Tello had great games for them and if we had to lose against a team in Spain, I'm glad it's against them.

GG Betis, but I hope we pick it up and play more organised next games.
they deserved the victory.... we were awful.
Setien is the coach we should have got instead of freaking Valverde. Last year he played the same players all the time and that got him results in the league. This year , we have a much better squad and due to injuries, he is forced to rotate and look at the result of that.

did you guys see the FK of my boy vs juventus or not? LOL, always wished barca would have signed him few years earlier
one of the most underrated players
Malcom needs more minutes in this team. for some reason dembele seems to do better asan impact player... iduno what to do with him
Arthur and Coutinho are playing really well. Just need that killer instinct in the final third. I just want Dembele to beat someone. He's having so much trouble with 1v1s.
Coutinho?! He's been horrid the last 5-6 games man. Selfish, not clicking with the team and wasteful. With Messi's absence you'd hope he would step it up, but he didn't whereas Suárez did.
He's not playing to his potential, but he was still contributing to ball movement vs Inter. At least that's what I saw. He also was contributing defensively for a majority of the match. Obviously, Suarez has been contributing the most out of any player offensively since Messi's injury, but Coutinho had moments of brilliance and is also the one who set up Malcolm for the goal. The match against Inter should not have ended in a tie. If Coutinho was in the same position as Rakitic on that counter, I'm pretty confident he would have finished it. Dembele is still lacking the final instinct, not clicking with the team, and certainly the one being wasteful. Let's not forget how wasteful Suarez can be though. When Messi returns, the attack will flow fluidly and, hopefully, be more clinical.
guys, did we exile denis suarez to barca b? theres no news of injury and he's still a barca player but i do not see him at all aside from copa games and some friendlies
It's clear he is not good enough for Barca
So Manchester City is in hot water for faking financial fair play documents. You will never become an elite club with oil money, period.
+2
Nothing will be done about it. Its not even a surprise. Unless you believe they can generate revenue greater than the likes of Arsenal, juventus when they cant even fill there own stadium even on CL nights.
You can only be an elite club by maintaining a mafia of clubs, period. Let the entitled ones preside.
No one can deny that mafia exists, but that doesn't justify any type of cheating.
+1
The rules are meant to be followed whether the club like it on not. If not whats the point of have organised sports? If City is found guilty, they should be punished.
Agree on the punishment part don’t agree on FFP
PSG is in the same boat: the most striking example is one of their sponsorship deals raked in €230m but is in reality worth €3m.

That said, I don't disagree with Tomi that there's a sense of hypocrisy to FFP. Clubs like ours are allowed to do their sometimes shady business and thrive, while the 'nouveau riche' clubs can't invest more than they're worth. If you're going to go for FFP, make sure it's actually fair.
Ya fools - Manchester city will address all these baseless allegations once it completes its player deal this winter - E Mangala to Abu Dhabi FC for £200 MM

(Found this on the net lol)
I like to see more of Malcom. He seems very promising.

What's happening with Dembele? Do you guys see him staying for long?
I wanted him to develop further at Barca under Messi and Suarez, but it seems like he and the club have come to a mutual decision for him to leave next summer. Hopefully, no sooner than that because I think he is still a vital part of the team. Valverde needs to get his attitude in check. As far as I know he has a good relationship with the team and just wants consistent playing time. I don't blame a 100 million euro player for wanting playing time.
i think club wont sell him any time sooner than next summer, and i see this season as valverde's last season at barca. i think dembele's future depends on the next manager if he believes in him or not.
otherwise, this season dembele's role will remain the same he will be a substitute and play in copa and will be unhappy and mentally accepting that barca isnt the team for him and wont celebrate after the goal. just my opinion and i could be wrong

I highly hope the same thing wont happen to malcom though.
Why do you guys think he hasn't done better, he looked like a real talent. Is it that he is not versatile and is not getting a chance because he can't replace Messi on that right side?
He dealt with a long term injury his first season and I think that would be a major setback for any player. It took him awhile to get up to speed in order to click with the rest of the squad and even now almost a year later, he is still struggling. He's still only 21 and needs time to develop, but he has certainly shown his natural quality in brief moments. Not being able to play on the right is probably a reason for it and that plays into the idea that maybe he isn't as versatile as he should be. I think he could still be effective on the left, but he needs a manager that can help grow his versatility because his talent is certainly there.
I would be hesitant to say that he is what United need since you're looking for Mata's long-term replacement. Mainly because he has all the skill, but almost zero defensive ability and he can be very wasteful (kind of like Sanchez without the physicality). I think he can be brilliant on the counter though.
