Wow so United have 7 offside goals in 5 games at OT. Now imagine if that was us. We got 1 offside goal this season (even though got 2 or 3 legit goals ruled offside) and trolls were getting wet everywhere. Imagine if we had 7 offside goals lol

We are the king of offside goals. Haha
we've been on the end of several bad decisions ourselves, including goals incorrectly ruled offside (mata at palace), goals incorrectly ruled out (ibra vs middlesborough), penalties not called (city game, bravo on rooney). In fact I find it funny ibra's goal was ruled a out for dangerous play, but rooney takes a boot to the face in the west ham game after going for a header and no foul is called for a high boot.

tl;dr

not our fault, the refs have made mistakes both in our favor an against.

where do you count 7 offsides goals though, what were the others?
+1
SIF I'm not saying it's United's fault. If anything I'm on your guys' side. It's the ref's fault for shitty calls. All I'm saying is if that was us, people would lose their minds.

This season we have had so many calls go against us and no one notices and yet some people still think the refs favour us. We scored one offside goal and trolls rose from the dead.
+1
Of course if it was Barca people would lose their minds, I know I would too.
If it was Real Ill be happy but you Barca fans would lose your minds.
When its man Utd all the clubs who wished they were anywhere near the top during man Utd SAF era such as Arsenal, Spores, pool etc are losing their minds. Infact, Im not totally convinced they have a mind to lose but they always seem to lose their marbles.
Just look at MU page for the past 24 hours since game, its a war going on there, and there are more haters on our page then actual fans haha. Its insane, I wouldnt say we get away with anything ez, but yeah we get the point.

Ramos scores another big goal!

Tee-hee. This Sevilla win tops of a great footballing weekend :)

Lol read this off twitter

"Luck was not able to differentiate between a bald of Zidane & Sampaoli"

On unrelated note - I am also getting Bald FFS
+7
Have you already applied for the coaching licence, Malik?
Yep , will be part of next generation of great bald managers.
Everybody keeps talking about Zidane or Lucho or Pep or Mou. Sampaoli has done a phenomenal job at Sevilla. He hasn't bought big and is managing with relatively decent team. He got Nasri on loan. Jovetic on loan. Sarabia who turned the game around came from getafe.

By the way, Sampaoli is being lined up as lucho replacement if lucho leaves. He might give barca and madrid a run for their money for the title.
+1
Sampoli>>>Lucho
Sampaoli>>>God
Sampaoli has done a terrific job, but don't forget Monchi. Man has made so many shrewd purchases during his time at Sevilla.

Sampaoli also made a come and get me plea to Barca during the winter break. If Lucho leaves, we must snatch Sampaoli without thinking twice. Brilliant manager
He is great coach, but his style doesn't matches our, though we have drifted quite a bit from our style I think we should still look for someone that prefers possession football.
Finally a late Ramos goal that didn't make me wanna punch my TV! and nice goal by Jovetic. I hope he can revitalize his career, he was a joy to watch at Fiorentina.
+2
That was a nice goal! But MOTM easily was N'zonzi. So calm and collective on the ball. Wouldn't mind seeing him at Barca :p
+1
you want him even though he used to play for stoke?
^we would OK to bring a man Utd player if he is good ,then why wouldn't we OK on a ex stoke player, lol
+1
lol you're not funny
+1
Holy s**t! Sevilla up.

Streak ends. Liga opens up again.
That's the only problem with having an amazing unbeaten run. Instead of killing off the game, Madrid were sitting up and defending their 1-0 lead. What a game!
Sampaoli ftw !! :D
I swear...Zidane has Isco and James sitting on the bench and he goes for f*****g nacho. He creates working line ups which deliver the game somehow. I read an article on Bleacher report about how good is this madrid team? I was like are you kidding me? You're comparing them to Barça? We were playing with flair and style. We got 2 more wins and scored 10 more even though msn missed plenty of goals. This madrid team doesn't even compare to previous madrid teams under Carlo or mourinho.

Today was the perfect example. A madrid team playing with 5 defenders. When has that ever happened? Even when madrid was losing to barca, they have never fielded 5 defenders.
+4
"Zidane has Isco and James sitting on the bench and he goes for f*****g nacho"

Both Isco and James weren't even called up for the match because they're both injured.. ffs gentlemen, get your info right before talking
+1
To say this Madrid team doesn't compare to previous Madrid teams of Mourinho (wtf) and Carlo is pretty stupid. Of course it compares, it's probably better than both of them if not equal to Carlo's Madrid.

Carvajal and Marcelo were practically wingers, watch the game and see how often Carvajal was chasing defenders as a winger almost because he was attacking more.

And like DaGaza said, were James and Isco invisible? Last I checked they were in the hospital and not on the bench...??
Dagaza: My bad. I was watching the game in Arabic so I didn't know why the team was selected. In any case, my larger point was that Zidane's instinct in times of difficulty is to go on defense. James and Isco have been used sparingly all season. Going in with 5 defenders isn't too shocking for Zidane's madrid.

Hikmat: Marcelo and Carvajal were "wingers" only on paper in the starting line up. Sevilla had 57% possession. That actually makes Marcelo and Carvajal "practically" wingbacks not wingers even though Zidane might have fantasized that they will add width.

As for other Madrid teams of this decade, I think your memory is failing you. Mourinho in his 2nd year smashed the record for points, goals scored, goal difference etc. That Madrid team played like a well oiled machine at least in La liga and Barca lost by some 8 or 9 points. They also posted the best defensive numbers for a Madrid team in la liga for over 15 years. Mou's team was the counterattacking team which set up the stage for Carlo Ancelotti's team which again smashed through the UCL. Atleti won la liga on the last day while Barca and Madrid ended up with equal points. Barca won the next year on the last day with madrid 2 points behind.

Madrid team in 11-12 scored 121 and allowed 32. In fact, Mou's teams have scored over 100 each of the 3 years. Even Ancelotti's Madrid scored 104 and allowed 38 in the first year and scored 118 and allowed 38 in the second year.

This Madrid team is at halfway point and have scored 46 goals and allowed 16. At this rate they will finish with around 92-95 goals and allow 32. This team is not even close to posting those numbers. They will have to score 72-75 goals in the next 20 games to match Ancelotti or Mou. These aren't numbers for a historical streaking team. Still think its stupid to compare this team to Mou? Actually you're right, the way this team is playing you can't compare at all with Madrid from the last 6 years because they're posting below average numbers. LOL I can give Zidane benefit of doubt since Bale is missing but Mou's Madrid didn't even have the gamed BBC.

Barca's streaking team scored 122 and allowed 23. Most of our close games were because of us scoring early in a hurry, then missing a bunch of sitters and suddenly conceding a goal or two. Zidane's 39 game streak included 112 goals and 36 allowed which included 13 goals vs Cultural Leonesa. How many games have you had with late winners or draws? Zidane is getting the job done with practical solutions which is good for your team. My point was that talking about "how good" this team is just ignoring game play. Its like saying Chelsea was the best team in Europe because they won the UCL.
+3
Hikmat is still a young kid. Jumps on to conclusion too soon. But, good job Franky, you certainly are amazing in your analysis and helping young kids like Hikmat in their development by teaching thing or two.
^^
His age has nothing to do with this. You're insulting him yet you're adding nothing to the discussion. I'd rather read what this "young kid" has to say over the load of crap you just wrote.
+1
I guess we differ on what a streaking team should be like. Simeone doesn't care about a game being 4-0 or 1-0, a win will get you the win. That's exactly why they won La Liga and had some key players stayed, they would have put up a better job defending it.

Zidane is a better man manager than Mourinho by far. Ancelotti, maybe not, but definitely over Mourinho. Management is just as much man management as it is tactics and getting results. In my opinion, that is as good as winning the league by 8 or 9 points with a 120 goals.

You have to realize Mourinho's attacking players included Benz, Higuain, a young Ronaldo, and Ozil+Di Maria. This team doesn't have those players. No disrespect to Isco, he's no Ozil. And James doesn't track back as often as a 3 man midfield of Kroos Modric and Casemiro.

Zidane has been without a healthy BBC for ages. Someone is always missing. A few years ago, a healthy front 3 was a regularity. Bale and Ronaldo have not been available as much, hence Zidane playing Lucas Vazquez and Asensio more often.

I just think we disagree on what a good team is. If it's scoring a lot of goals and playing with flair, then you are absolutely right and the numbers show that. :)

@Leo, I actually got my drivers license recently and have been practicing for a while, might get my full license in a few months! ;)
Ramos scored an own goal. He continues his goal scoring streak in the last few mins. #clutch #legend
Here's something I remember from Capello's time at madrid. He won the league but was sacked 1 week later because madrid weren't happy with his "tactics". He was supposedly too defensive for a club like madrid. I still don't remember him playing a 5 man defense. I won't be surprised if perez thinks madrid needs a new direction after Zidane wins the league.
Franky, Zidane have borrowed a lot from what Rafa was trying to do, only difference is that under zidane Real players, fans & Board are on board with his defensive plan.

I am quite sure Rafa would have never gotten this much praise for going on a similar or even better undefeated run.
+1
If Rafa Benitez ever went on a 40 game unbeaten streak I'd write his name in my hair. Calm yourself.

Zidane is a better man manager who gets players to work hard. Ronaldo defends on this Madrid side, and that's saying a lot! Barca fans have been waiting for Zidane to slip up for ages and now that he does, y'all are too quick. Give credit where it's due. He's no treble winning Guardiola yet or anything, but it doesn't mean he's an average clueless defensive manager.
Hikmat: I will partially agree he's a better man manager than Rafa because there were other conditions working for him w/r/t his relationship with his team. When Carlo was fired, the team was in revolt. Rafa got caught in the crossfire between Perez' decision and the team's disagreement. Zidane worked for Carlo so the team accepted him as a remnant of Carlo who brought Madrid La Decima. Plus Zidane is a Madrid legend at par with superstars like CR7 and Bale. He probably will not get the same reception if he was coaching at Chelsea or United because the awe factor wouldn't be there.

I have no doubt in my mind Zidane will be out sooner or later unless Perez has changed his personality. Perez buys stars to win and show how fabulous Madrid is, not to create a working system.
I guess Zidane really doesn't wanna lose that record lol starting with 5 defenders.
I saw a 3-5-2 formation in the beginning and I thought Zidane was being adventurous. Now I realized it's more like 5-3-2 lol
LOL who wants to bet a certain Arsenal fan will come out of the hiding and hate on Pep today? Even though the same Pep beat their ass couple weeks ago 😂
+1
He already did; check the City page.

A sad case, that guy.
Oh man I feel stupid now lol I should have known
It was a fair comment regarding Bravo's poor performance, sentiments the vast majority of football fans can easily see.

I agree he makes problematic comments but in this case, there's nothing wrong with it. If he is trying to engage others with a genuine comment like that, it's only fair you don't ridicule him.
+3
Read his other comments. And the fact that he disappears and reappears to talk s**t about Barca or Pep lol
+1
Just go to his profile Hikmat. Then you'll see nearly every single one of his comments revolve around Barça somehow.
+2
Its getting old...the trolling!
+1
It obvious that he is a troll, but hardly any action is taken against him.
Mourinho said "it's good to know Liverpool can defend" trying to highlight their defensive stance to guard their 1 goal lead. It's so funny seeing him talk about defense as a negative thing after he parked he bus vs pool in suarez' last year at pool.
And I thought the fans went crazy after the El Clasico. Just look at the EPL forums.
no no i think he was saying that because we got criticized for being defensive at anfield.
