"Supercopa is not very good trophy" - Florentino Pérez

Here is Ronaldo punching godin. twice. Ronaldo should get baned for this. I can assure you if this was suarez laliga would an him for life. but since its a madrid player he will do what he want.

I posted this on madrid forum too. its pissing me off no one talks about this. ramos now ronaldo. watch madrid fans protect him for this too.

+7
It was "in the heat of the moment" so that's ok I suppose ;)
@Realfan
Death by stoning would be more appropriate.
messi had done this. madrid press would be calling a murderer.

Fascists are unbeatable when it comes to propaganda i suppose.

Saw this linked on fbook and this was a fans' comment:

"No the one who is trying to pull ronaldos shirt needs a red card..bcz of that type of blocking Ronaldo responded that way..normally CR7 doesn't respond like this..he got irritated by that player and he showed him who the boss is".

Stay classy Cristiano (and Cristiano fans)
Ronaldo should get arrested.

Jokes aside, if you read pejvis post on the madrid board he's pretty much justifying it by bringing up suarez. Not sure what suarez has to do with this but this is the kind of attitude that fans of Spanish football have where bad behavior is acceptable. I say if suarez does this, ban him. The ref didn't see, so cr7 didn't get sent off. Now fans start normalizing this by saying "things like these happen in the box". I suppose it's okay then. Punch your opponent whenever you get frustrated by them tugging and pulling you. No wonder the Spanish fa doesn't bother punishing players through replays after the incident. It's because of such fan mentality.
We are Fascists now?! Lol now I've heard it all.
That guy can do anything when he's losing. Such a crying baby...
".This things happen all the time in the box during corners.." This isn't justification through the suggestion that this is normal behavior in the box? Who throws punches in the box "all the time". Shirt pulling, tugging, happens all the time in the box, not punching.
Ok,what the hell Franky? You have to be insane to think I was justifying what Ronaldo did. The only reason why I mentioned Suarez is because Dhockey has used him as an example in his original post to witch I relayed.

If Ronaldo even got a red I wouldn't object at all. But to ban players for things like this is not possible. If you would start banning players like that most of the teams would not have enough players to create a starting XI. Ronaldo was wrong to do it,maybe he should have gotta a red instead of a yellow. It's his fault and he was wrong.
No. Actually if you start banning players then they wouldn't do this. It's like saying if you start punishing people for stealing, there will be nobody left. It doesn't mean you ban them for 8 to 10 games. You get your sending off ban regardless of whether you got sent off during the game or not. The rubbish Spanish fa pretends nothing happened if the ref doesn't write it in his report.

In USA, if a player throws a punch in a football game where they're supposed to destroy their opponents, it would be plastered all over the news and the player's own fans would turn against him. Plus the NFL would give him a lengthy ban and additional fines. In football, especially in Spain it's okay.

Hahahaha f*****g ban Suarez for biting because he is a repeated offender. But don't ban Ronaldo or Ramos (Ramos doing this s**t more than once) because it was in the heat of the moment. Did Suarez do this outside the pitch? No. It was in the heat of the moment. Hahaha f*****g hypocrites.
If they are willing to start banning players for this than it could probably help with decreasing the problem in general. But that would be a drastic measure,a lot of teams would suffer first, and that counts Barca the same as others.
^ i don't think it would be a drastic measure. Yes barca would get treated the same way as others but barca players don't throw as many punches or stamp on other players. It doesn't bother me much. Whoever is the offender should not get away with it just because he was sneaky. Imagine what would happen if someone punched cr7 in his pretty million dollar face and actually broke his nose or something? Would madrid allow the Spanish fa to just let it slide? I don't think so.
Actually it happened, except it was not his nose, but he's eye.

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aiMZ5MTqyyo

And it was not even called a foul for than, nothing. It might not have been intentional, but it was recless and dangerous. And then if you ask me,trying to be sneaky and get away wit it is even worst than doing it rigt in front of the ref.
Seriously Pejvi? I know Ronaldo gets manhandled a lot and I would accept it even if you didn't post a video. But this is what annoys me the most about you guys. You saw the defender "deliberately" elbow Ronaldo in that clip? There are several videos of players of different teams deliberately elbowing their opponents but in your quest to find an incident where CR7 was the victim, you just picked the first one that you found with CR7 at the receiving end, regardless of whether it was deliberate or accidental. The other day, Hikmat also posted a video claiming Messi "headbutted" Srna even though Srna was the one who came to confront Messi and stuck his head in Messi's face. According to hikmat, since Ramos punched Mandzukic and Messi clashed heads with Srna, there was some sort of equivalency there.

CR7 deliberately punched Godin while in the video you posted, the contact seemed accidental. I only say "seemed" because I can't figure out clearly whether the player was looking to elbow CR7 but you are somehow quite sure about it. I've said it before, you could break someone's leg in football through accidental contact and its okay but if you attempt to hit someone even slightly without any injury to your opponent, you should get the red and ban.
Madrid cannot ask for punishment for an incident where the contact was accidental. Its not same bro!
The point was that there was no punishemt, not even a foul. I was answering to the claims that Madrid would not let "Ronaldos million dollar face" get hurt withou punishment. And lets not bring Messi into this again, hes not a sweetheart himself.

My conclusion,so we dont have to drag this out,is this:
It was a bad move from Ronaldo,he deserved a yellow card he got,but a red would not be unjustified as well. You also have to take into account that Godin was holding him with his arms. Should that then be a penalty for Madrid? No. Should Ronaldo get a ban because of his actions? No. Where hes actions wrong? Absoluty yes. It should not happen again and I dont think it will, this is not something that is a part of his character.
Pejvi: You are conflating several issues. Defenders hold players in the box all the time. Are all of them penalties? In fact that's one of your theories. "These kind of things happen all the time." You don't get penalties for all forms of contact. That's not even as per rules of the game. One referee would look at the replay and say its a penalty while another wouldn't.

What is FIFA rule for intentional violence? A straight red. There's no ambiguity around that rule at all especially in this incident. He got away with a yellow because the ref didn't see. What I'm saying is he should get a red after the FA reviews the match tape. You can't claim that a hold in the box which is a 50-50 penalty chance is the same as a red card for violence. Not even close.
The more I think about it, the happier I am Luis Suárez signed for us. He is really genuinely happy to be here (see this: http://www.footytube.com/video/directo-rueda-de-prensa-de-xavi-290407?ref=tchan_ov_vidgrid), the club he dreamt of as a boy. Obviously he's a sublime player and the reason I'm happy is because I know he's going to give it his best every game and allow much more versatility in our attack. The fact we now have an absolute top right-footed striker alongside Neymar and Leo is really quite exciting too. I wonder who's going to take the free kicks now. I think both Neymar and Luis are actually better FK takers than Leo, I wonder if Enrique will notice and only let Messi take the free kicks perfectly suited for a leftie.
We have three fk options now. I think rakitic takes fk too, right?
Suarez bring something which we missed a lot last season , hunger & aggression , real challenge for Enrique will be to channel his aggression into good performances rather then frustration & stupid act's .

as for free kicks i think messi is better when it comes to close range , his placement of freekicks is just sublime , when keeper have little time to adjust they struggle against better placed free kicks , Suarez and naymar both have better swerve and sting in their shoot & Fk's , also i think messi will let Suarez take the freekicks which will be on left side of pitch and he will take the one on right .

Or else we always have option of rock paper scissors
+2
Yeah, Suárez is always hungry. Hungry, hungry Luis.

OMFG 36 months ban
Lol Don't you know "everybody" does it in the heat of the moment?
Brandao is a mo ron. He could have gotten away with his head butt if he had just done it on the grass instead of doing it after the game. Now they're charging him with premeditated assault.
Wow. The second clip makes it look even worse than the first one.
Cristina fights like a little bitch muahahaha , Ramos almost unlock his achievement of ' hands of god ' , though not sure if target was ball or defenders face . BUT BUT it was done in heat of the moment so all good .

@Franky4fingers , if i kill someone will it be okay ? because i'm sure i will take such a horrible decision in heat of a moment only .
Im just in aw why Real just doesnt start Di Maria. The man is very clutch in the big games, he makes Real the best team in Europe IMHO. In most cases, I can care less about my rivals playing certain players, but the fact a man like Di Marias level doesnt play, stuns me. He is Reals most important player, and yet James starts over him. Di Maria deserves better, he is a big reason why Real got La Decima. Yeah im mad cause I appreciate his world class talent. it shouldnt be wasted >:(
They weren't willing to give him the pay raise that he wanted. I think he was offered something but not as much as he would have liked.

Personally, and I've always said this, Di Maria is in the top 3 best players for Madrid right now.. and was last season as well. He got himself a spot in the XI even after Bale's arrival.
The reason he didn't start is because he is well on his way out. He was offered a contract which he rejected, understandably so when clubs like Man utd would make him the star and give him even more.

The thing about Real is we won't force him against his will. If he wants to leave, he is free to so so but Ancelotti also said if he changes his mind he can stay. Its in his hands atm what he does.
It's most likely that Adm has been signed by united or at least they have a deal in place. Once a deal is in place you can't use the player. They're probably just waiting for formalities to be completed before they make a final announcement. Plus, it doesn't make sense to start a player that wants to leave. You want to start players who will be at the club for long and are fully committed.
Atletico continue to show that they mean business.

This is the first step for them to dismiss the talk of being one hit wonders, then again.. we are their opponents, it wont be easy!

But seriously... the more they play, the more they scare me!
OT: Is anyone else sick of these Ice bucket videos as I am?
+3
Yes, but not if they're as well-done as Bill Gates' video. I really like that one. Powerful people like him make me have faith in humanity (while demonic organizations like IS and Boko Haram make me nauseous and very angry).
+2
Problem is that lot of these famous people's are doing it without any knowledge of why they're doing it or what was the purpose behind it :/
+2
I get it but its all over Facebook. For some, it went from doing it for a good cause to just some attention seeking stunt. If someone challenges me, I'll just spend the $100.
Donating to good causes that are hyped is something I never do. They always get *too* much money, money that's much better donated to other not-so-popular causes. Which is another reason why I like Bill Gates' foundation so much: they spread out their resources over thousands of great projects.
Charlie Sheen ice bucket challenge , i don't know anything about him apart from his obsession with word ' winning '

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bvbb4rJCYAAVFid.jpg
50cent had the best ice bucket challenge imo (the one where he challenged Floyd MayWeather).
Comedic gold
Floyd's answer might be even funnier. He'll donate 1 million if 50 cent is able to post a video of his son saying that he loves Fiddy.
Any news about Neymar, when he's gonna be back?
Sorry Madridistas. No sextuple for you this year. You still have a chance to emulate our 2011 team and win 5 trophies this year starting with the CWC in December.
+2
RM must spend another 100-200M, IMHO.
+1
Lol franky that way too far , by then their last remaining hopes of Laliga will be gone , I'm just waiting for di Maria and khedira to leave after which we might organize a little cule party ;) with these both gone Madird's gona concede s**t load of goals .

& also with complacency kicking in Madrid ranks they won't be able to perform any good .
Malik: Madrid has a lot of depth. If Khedira does leave, they have Kroos/Alonso/Illara to take care of DM position although Alonso isn't as sharp as he used to be and Illara still has to prove himself in madrid colors.

Di Maria will be their biggest loss. They're wondering why ADM didn't except contract extension. The guy was probably their best player after CR7 and they go ahead and buy another attacking midfielder who sort of plays in the same position expecting ADM to just roll over and go, "Oh yeah. Go team! I'll wait for my chance while you try to sell more jerseys."

But even then, their attack is very very strong. If CR7 doesn't stay fit, its going to be a long long season for them.
Atleti might have sex this year tho.
They look even better than last year.
^ Mandzukic has been impressive so far. He seemed a lot lazier playing for Bayern than he does for Atleti.
Franky, i think we all agree di maria is way better thAn james. I definitely didnt want james to come in or khedira to leave.

Oh yeah the guys who won the most important games/trophies wc final, lets sell them!

Genius...
