399 goals

29 hattricks

It's all because he plays in La Liga. Lets see him do that on a Rainy Wednesday in Stoke :P

Guys where can i find the leader board for the Dreamfooty current season.?
On the menu above: Play ---> "Leaderboards" (small icon in bottom right corner). That'll take you to the Top 100 list.
k thnx mate..but can i see their teams..? coz when u try it shows me world cup teams..
Yeah not yet. I'm not sure if that's a delay or on purpose, but I'll pass the query on.
real madrid fans were laughing at Barca's defence in summer...LOL
TBH during transfer window most of cules (including me) were also not happy with defenders we bought and prices we paid for them, though we’re still to concede a goal and looks solid at back but we also have to remember that it’s been a collective effort from whole team rather than sole super performance from defense (rakitic’s super clearance from yesterday’s match comes to mind, as much as I love cesc ,he never bothered to track back let alone commit for the ball )

So far it has been fantastic, but I will hold any judgement until deep into the seasons, it is way to early to hand out marks yet. We still haven't faced top europeans teams, and we haven't won anything yet :-(.

what I really appreciate, is the rotation of the players. Luis is instilling confidence in his young players while giving seniors much rest to stay fresh for games, very impressive.
Try this at home, fail, weep:

That's new B.Liga record too
New trend in our play is Busi intercept -> pass to messi -> messi assist .

Its becoming a FIFA like glitch , the one which we're abusing and Loving :p

How about those through ball lobs mascherano was sending into the box? I almost mistook him for Rocketic or Iniesta.
Rocketic ? I like what you did there ;)

Its good to see both Rocketic and Iniesta trying to shoot from long range .
+1
Rocketic or Messist, not sure which new jersey to buy
I'm not a big supporter of long distance shooting. However it's a good option to have. Rocketic has a good long distance shot which we have been missing for a while now. Xavi used to take shots a lot more before he got older and possibly because pep doesn't like blind shooting. At the moment, we still don't have a true long distance shooter although we do have several players who can shoot accurately from just outside the box. Neymar, messi, Suarez, rocketic, iniesta, alves are all good shooters. In defense we have Adriano, vermaelen, alba and even mathieu who can shot decently.

The one thing that bothers me is how we deal with aerial balls. In not just talking about set pieces. Just any ball which is in the air or if its bouncing around our players look like headless chicken running around helplessly not knowing when to jump. Its amazing to me how we manage to find extraordinarily skilled players but they all suck at winning aerial duels.
why not both? *everyone celebrates*

I want Rocketic to stick. Trying to think how I can make money off it if it starts trending. ;)
Rocket in Croatian is raketa, in German its die rakete. Both are already nick-names for Rakitic.
Cool. So now we have an English version of it.

SUAREZ hasn't even played yet !!!!

not even unboxed, someone needs to call LFC customer service for refund

Nor has Vermaelen! With him we'll concede -1 goals a game on average. Yes, you heard it here first.
+2
^you really think so? I thought koscielny was the problem at arsenal.
I heard on motd that Leicester scored 5 goals from 5 shots today. that's bad luck for United lol. Although it also says something about the kind of chances they give -- totally exposed on the break.
Shots on target, yeah.
They had 15 shots overall.
its no luck mate..our defense looks like they are going to concede every time Leicester attacked..No one took the responsibility...and it was all started by ref..
5 games- 5 clean sheets and 5 wins= Best defense in the world and best team in the world.

*kicks the door in*

you said what now?
Great win today for the team!

Although this may seem very critical, this is a website for discussing football after all so I have a few points to make about today..

Our defense was very shaky today and we didn't have the best performance at the back. I'm not too fond of this Masch and Mathieu combination as they are both very committing and it leaves us vulnerable at the back. I feel our most solid starting defensive lineup would be to have Dani, Bartra, Mathieu, and Alba to start at the back. Masch is just too great of a DM to waste in the CB position.

Dani is aging, but he played well today besides a few times he didn't get back, which the great Rakitic came to cover for him. Masch needs to be rotated with Busquets for healthy competition for the DM position. We can't have Busi falling asleep like he did last season. Masch is too short for the CB position and he makes DM tackles that wouldn't mean anything if he was a DM but are yellows simply because he's a CB and closer to goal.

Besides Mathieu's few mistakes in this game he was solid again in defense and attack. Alba was just amazing the whole game.

The back-line for this game was about as offensive as it gets. Two wing-backs, one transitioned left-back and one transitioned CB. Lucho said before the match that if Levante plays with 10 men in the 16 box, breaking them down will be difficult but doable. I think he expected a buss and went with the most offensive back-four Barca's got. Masch is slow and short for a CB, but he reads the game and passes like a DM, which is gold when you're trying to score.

I feel like the coach should limit Alves in offense. He's no longer the engine he was in his prime years when he dominated the world of fullbacks since 2006 up until about the 2012/2013 season. He'll definitely go down as a legend and it'll really be sad when he's gone. Despite losing, his speed, stamina, and quickness Alves is still a great player if used correctly.

His connection with Messi is currently better than any other player on the pitch and this a big reason he still attacks. Lucho really needs to have Alves stay strictly in defense allowing Jordi Alba to do all the attacking.
