Did we just sign Di Maria? Saw it on the official Barca page on Facebook.
No. It got hacked.
They can't even protect the page ffs

MSN reunited!
Barcelona to sue Neymar over move to Paris St-Germain seeking "8.5m euros (£7.8m) in damages, and an additional 10% in interest".

That's ridiculous, lol. We have got enough money for him, now let's f*****g move on from there and work on improving fading team. This board man,SMH
+3
Oh, how low the board has dragged this club.
+3
I was looking at the Team sheet and found that we've 27 total players for the first team. (23 [with shirt number] and 4 [without shirt] ) some new faces may still join in (hopefully some quality players)

I am trying to field them to see how our team structure looks like at the moment. Looks to me, it's not the greatest but it's not the "end of the world kind" as well.

So for this season we have (so far):

.....................................................Ter Stegen/Cillessen............................................

Semedo/Vidal ................. Pique/Mache................Umtiti/Marlon...............Alba/Digne

Roberto/Iniesta/Turan/??..Busquets/Samper/Paulinho...Rackitic/Suarez/Rafihna/??

???/Deulofeu...................................L'Suarez/Paco...........................LM10/Munir/???

We definitely need a Left Winger at the very minimum and if possible a Mid for this season. We've a backline with potential and age on their side along with a good keeper.

We have a broken front 3 but still have two world beaters in there in Messi and Suarez (thanks to you Mr. Neymar Jr.)

I hope with the new Coach and new challenges, our mid field finds a way to work for the team and work wonders.

Roberto is very promising, Iniesta when fit is still valuable, Sergio Busquets is fine, Samper I think is capable of a deputy to him and also there's Masche in times of need.

D' Suarez was doing great stuffs at villareal - the very reason we bought him back and I hope he gets inspired by Roberto and regains his form. I hope Rakitic gets some rest because of D Suarez and Rafihna (who's also a good player) and gets back to his first season form.

With Suarez's and Messi's team first attitude, we can still be competitive - despite all the noise surrounding us.

Keep your chin up, Cules, Visca Barca!!
Out of those 27, three are utterly garbage/useless players that we should let go just now => Gomes/Douglas/Varmaleen

Munir - we might as well release him but I am still OK for him to be given some chances this season and that's better than giving chances to Gomes. If he doesn't do anything this season, he should be offloaded next season for sure.

Also, we should offload Turan probably this season and if not next season for sure.

We should also offload Vidal, Digne, Paco next season If we don't get any good return from them this season.

Next season, Masche, Iniesta may walk away or we may have to offload them(because of age).
+1
I agree with almost everything, but why would you get rid of Turan and Digne. Turan actually did quite a good job so far at Barca IMO and if you let Digne go, who's gonna be your back-up for Alba.

Other than that I think Dembele and especially Serri are a must for Barca.
I agree with Zizou, we need Digne and he's actually been pretty good for us. We also need Vidal. He's just starting to find his feet and him and Semedo can fight it out while Sergi moves to midfield. As for Turan, he's a good back up in midfield and LW but we already have too many midfielders.
Turan wasted here TBH. It is better for us and him to part away.
+1
@Zizou5:

Regarding Digne, I said

"We should also offload Vidal, Digne, Paco next season If we don't get any good return from them this season."

Regarding Turan, he rarely plays in Barca - he's just wasted by our board/coaches :(

All my comment here refers to is => we shouldn't panic at the moment but should start building our team for the future. We need to get at least 6 great players into the team whether we build them in the B team (from our la masia) or buy from the market between now and the end of the next summer window.
This is Sergi Roberto's chance to have a break through season and be among the best midfielders in the world.
+2
Liverpool rejected our third bid for coutinho, now it seems practically impossible to sign him. Poor fellow,I feel for him. This is his chance to fulfil his childhood dream to come here, now he has to play and suffer with f*****g overrated English players with a mid table team. So sad for him.
+2
Blessing in disguise. Overpriced and injury prone.
+4
Great player nonetheless! Although I will be happy if we sign seri and dembele now, but bvb asking ridiculous price for him which makes that case also 50-50=.
+3
Lol, cocky much?

Let him stay at Liverpool; he's the star there and it's not exactly a 'mid-table' club like you say. Any player should be honoured to play for them, no matter how good he is.

Besides, he's not worth more than €100m to us.
+15
^ a team which aren't won a single league title for more than 25 years , certainly a midtable club in my book, lol.
He isn't worth 100 m, but these fuckers just shut the dream of a player who wants to be here. I feel for him, now nobody going to pay 130 m for him which means he may end up without winning a title,he ha
+6
Damn, you're pretty salty. One of the top teams in England doesn't want to sell their best player to you guys and you go and attack them. I don't buy the entire "his dream" thing either. Liverpool want a fair a price and seeing as how Barca is loaded, they are in the right for milking you guys.
+4
It's really simple:
1) Is he still under contract at his current club?
Yes: he can't leave unless the club allows it
2) Does the club want to sell him then?
Not at any cost.
3) Is the club big enough to deal with him being an unprofessional c**t and refusing to play?
Yes.
=> He's not going anywhere.
+4
^ lol, everything that you said here doesn't change the fact that Liverpool is a mid table club and with their transfer policies, they aren't doing anything to suggest upon improving the squad into title contender.I think you're overdoing, I didn't say anything that suggests Liverpool are wrong not to sell him, I just said I feel for this guy, because he can't fulfill his childhood dream and now he has to play with average players. You want me to further explain this simple post dude?
+1
@ hikmath, I never excited about him being here because I honestly thinks his football style wouldn't fit with our football.so I have no saltines here.

Am certain that Liverpool would let him for 80 m+ if neymar didn't transfer to psg, and just because psg triggered 222 m clause, there's no way coutinho worth 150 m now.

As I said in Liverpool forum, I can understand why psg didn't let us to buy verrati as they had better plan, but Liverpool doesn't seem to have any plan at all, so I was just saying I feel bad for coutinho.
I'm reading reports that Dembélé, Seri, ans DI MARIA Will all be announced soon.

Why Do Maria? Seems like a weird transfer to me.
+1
Not weird at all. Di Maria is still a top quality player and Messi's bff, so results will come fast as both have played together before and know each other very well.
It's only weird because he played for RM; it makes perfect sense football-wise. ADM is a winger, but he's also good in the advanced CM position, as you might remember from his last season at Real.

I really hope all three will join us, we need new quality in midfield and someone to replace Neymar.
If he can bring his form from his last season in Madrid, I think he would be deadly for us. Madrid won the CL and Di Maria was the key player. He was destroying teams in CM. A very good replacement for Iniesta or at least temporarily.
I'm with Hikmat on this one, if Dembele is signed, Di Maria doesn't make much sense, he is very talented but very selfish player, not Messi or Suarez type of generous player.
That said, there are two ways to look at it:
1. Board is desperate to keep their seats ,they will sign big names even if not a huge fit.
2. Frankly speaking, Barca needs tons of players for the regular 11 as well as for the non-existing bench, so technically Di Maria addition will be just the beginning.
If Dembele is signed, why not get Di Maria if you get the chance. Di Maria is a stop gap player playing in his prime years, Dembele is a 20 year old that will need time. Not to mention Di Maria can slot in CM when needed, bringing in Seri will allow him the freedom to exploit teams defenses from the middle.
+1
Can you guys imagine what it would be like if Messi leaves? :(
It's inevitable. It will be a sad day for a barca fan. I'm just glad I've gotten/get to enjoy him on a weekly basis. Right now, he deserves better teammates. Hopefully we don't sign coutinho (our offer has been rescinded with the time limit given to l'pool). I want dembele and seri this week with yerry mina joining in january.
+1
Lol A red card in the 91st min with a 3-0 lead. Even Pepe grew up after he messed up during the world cup. And people think Ramos is a great defender. Throwing elbows around comes to him instinctively. What an ass!
+3
In fairness, that did not warrant a yellow card. However, his first yellow should definitely have been red.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHFQQ0k-YOw
+2
I agree but the point is when you're on a yellow, in the 91st min and 3 nil up, you don't take a chance. You can clearly see he stuck his arm out because of all the fighting that was going on. Good players don't do that and it happens with him way too often.
He should have been sent off long before, was just lucky that ref didn't spot his actions.
+1
i think the message is clear. Messi will continue to hit the posts only until Barca signs more world class players
