Mandzukic is a great signing.
No way, is this actually true? Mandzukic?????
C'mon now. No low-ball bids for Navas.
Hypocrisy.
10mil euros is his buy-out clause. Atl can cough that up for sure, no reason not to spend 10mil on him in fact that could probably be the best 10mil they every spend. Keylor Navas is such a talent!

Also looking at the squad next season the CB is going to looking good. Atl need to keep both Miranda and Godin and with Alderwerild and Gimenez playing as backup/rotation the center halves options is looking good! Also I want Atle to sign Sosa on a permanent deal, its always good to have that kind of experience in the team. For the MF especially considering the loss of Tiago Mendes who was an important player. Saul can play as a DM/CM but I'm hoping his going to inherent Gabi's position as a CM because his just so good and I'd rather see a natural DM like Fernando Gago come to Atl just because I don't think Mario Suarez is good enough to take that role, maybe as a backup but nothing more, don't really know what the plan is at that postion. Looking at the forwards options Atl have some promising young talent Correa is the cream of the crop this kid is going to be the next Carlos Tevez imo, excited to see him play. Also hopefully Borja Gonazalez and Leo Baptistao get a shot as well and considering Adrian Lopez will be playing a lot more next season Alt should be alright unless Simone is going to the market and buys a big striker. With Costa gone I've been hearing part of the deal might have been to get Lukaku on loan but it seems like a bad idea. Although in set pieces his so dangerous his first touch is awful and his ball handling skills are literally nothing compared to past successful strikers like Falcao, Aguero, Costa, Forlan etc. He just wouldn't fit into a league where most strikers need to be technical.

I don't know how things are going to down but hopefully everything works out.

Off to Atletico London:
Tiago
Costa
Courtois

Off to NYC:
Villa
Well, Correa had heart surgery.
Expected to make full recovery though.
Really? Wow, that sounds sad his so young. Hopefully everything is going to be OK.

Looks like it so far.

Very happy with this signing! :)

Its going to be really tough to be honest, defending the title isn't going to be easy for Atletico next season. Hopefully Atletico sign Keylor Navas to replace Courtois and Guilherme Siqueria is most likely going to to replace Luis but I'm hoping Miranda stays at Atletico. One of the Rojibalancos strongest areas was their defense duo of both Miranda and Godin. If Altetico are to have a successful season again they need to keep both players.

For the MF with Tiago Mendes still uncertain, I don't want him to leave but his 33 and its time Simone found a replacement for him weather he stays or leaves. I'd give Saul Niguez, Borja Gonzalez, Leo Baptistao, Oliver Torres a chance next season and bring them back to the first team. Its a risk to bring in youngsters but they are the future and might as well give them the shot now. I don't know whether Simone is going to buy or go for youngsters on loan?

I've seen a few of his games, his got a long way to go but his a very confident player and isn't afraid of anyone or thing. That's the kind of attitude players need. Hopefully his playing for Atletico next season.

Don't read into this regarding Courtois. Moya is signed solely to be a backup. He was approached last year as well:

If Courtois were to leave, an excellent replacement.

Imo, would have loved for him to stay and sign on a permanent deal but as any young footballer he wants to prove himself at Chelsea who most likely want him back. Keylor Navas is a perfect replacement, his top notch and is such a stud! This would be a smart move to make:)

Congrats on signing Angel Correa.

He is the next big thing. I've seen a few of his games, his got skills with the ball, low center of gravity with great technique, pace and a good first touch. The kid reminds of Tevez.Imo, his going to be the next big thing:) I want to see Asenjo, Olvier Torres and Léo Baptistão playing more games next season. I want to see them blend with the first team to get used to playing in that top level.

"Summed up, the Rojiblancos can end up with €53m in income from UEFA for winning the Champions League. Additionally there is an unknown amount of indirect incomes to the club that can influence Atlético’s financial future. Even disregarding the merchandise, sponsorship and ticket incomes, the money only received from UEFA make up almost 50 % of the clubs annual budget which for the 2013/2014 season was €120m."
