That Scottish fan with Uruguay fans celebrating the win over England in the World Cup was extremely amusing.
Merci ! Dank u wel ! Thank you !
Gordon Strachan appointed the new national manager.

The wee guy has been out of a job for a while now, obviously looking to get himself back in the spotlight, Scotland are 1000-1 to qualify for the WC now! lol

Good luck Gordon your gonna need it! :)
I don´t understand all the fuss about Scotland. I mean you lost to superior opposition in Belgium. Lost to a stronger Welsh team away from home and did well to get a point against a better Serbian side. What did the tartan army expect? This is not the 70´s or 80´s. Scotland don´t have the talent they once had and also we should remember it is a lot harder for European teams to qualify for major international tournaments these days. What was once yugoslavia is now broken up into several strong teams in Croatia, Serbia, montenegro and Bosnia. What used to be the soviet Union now has Russia, Ukraine and several other smaller countries who are no pushovers. Scandinavian teams are much stronger than they used to be as well as some other countries like Greece and Turkey. How can Scotland even expect to be in contention for qualifying for the world cup. It beats me.
We don't expect to qualify mate, what we do expect is to compete!

No talent?

We have at least 5 or 6 players from the EPL, this is as good a squad as we have had in recent years!

I don't expect to beat Belgium, they have a great squad, but Serbia and Macedonia at Hampden were matches we could have won, and we have a squad that can match up to the Welsh no bother!

I expected to take at least 7 points from our first 4 games not 2, and why not?!

When Walter Smith and Alex McLeish were in charge we beat France home and away, ran the Italians very close, and we were not a kick in the ar*e of qualifying for 2 major tournaments!

We know we can compete with the bigger teams, we are always the underdogs but we usually rise to the occasion, whats wrong with having a bit of belief in our team, the 2 Fletchers, Naismith, Mackie, Caldwell, Hutton, Snodgrass, we have a decent core to the team we just don't seem to be clicking at the moment, and i can only put that down to man management, Levein doesn't seem to know how to gt the best out of these players!

One thing the Scot's have always had is pride in their National team, that will never change, all we ask for is the same from the management and the players, we knew we were in a hell of a tough group but their were winnable games in there!

Anyway this is all a mute point, it is damage limitation from here on in!
+1
Nice of you to come here to slag off our national team then don't even come back to back yourself up!
The Bhoys, nuff said.
who?
+1
Levein out now, the team is going nowhere under him! 2 points from 4 games is not acceptable, there are some good coaches out there looking for a job that would do better, Coyle, Walter and Big Eck to name a few!
i suppose you cant blame it fully on the fletcher debacle, although it never helped the situation, i fear scotland should have done far better even without fletcher, no way are they a one man team.
so outside of fletcher, it must come down to managerial skills, which levein has been found wanting sadly to scotlands cost, and they DO have a decent team there.
They do Tony, they have a much better squad than in recent years and they just haven't stepped up when it matters, Serbia, Macedonia, Wales and Belgium, 2 of those matches at Hampden we should have been looking at, at least 7 points in my opinion!

2 points is just criminal, our qualifying campaign is over! :(

Bring in a new coach, now they are working under no pressure, the damage has already been done.

Hell we could easily finish bottom of this group now!
I guess Wales got BALEd out again :p
I guess it was Miller time
I think Scotland really need to work on their counter-atttacks. They seem to really lack that.
