ur just mad u guys couldnt win the worst porto team in 10 years. since the summer u guys bought players like crazy and this beginning of the season porto wasnt playin like last year, so u guys though it was in the bag. but in the end what happened was that porto were more constant in all areas (more goals scored less suffered) especially in the last fourth of the league, and i know what hurts the most is the u guys were 5 points up and u just let them fly away. yes porto was helped a little but so was benfica so dont come with apito dourado stuff to save ur butts another year. u know u played terrible in the last fourth of the season so just admit it. and if there was a team that was hurt by the refs its sporting so only sportingistas should be pissed at the refs

I would like to see you talk about referees to Gil Vicente fans or even more so with Ferirense fans who's team is most like going to go down a division because points lost in those games

We all know that Barcelona won lot of controversial referee decisions last couple of years, so better not go into such discussions.
Ok referees were not good, but that does not mean Porto bought the league, there were mistakes everywhere. Porto didnt play as they used to, they were not convincing, but at least they are league champions, I guess congratulating them, highlighting there mistakes, firing the coach :), is a a good preparation for next season.

Porto are worthy champions congratulations. The table clearly indicates that. I was a bit maddened how easily Benfica have thrown away the title when I posted that comment. If I have offended anyone I sincerely apologize.

P.S. Vítor Baía and Michel Preud'homme were my favorite goalkeepers :)

No worries mate, the thing is that the last couple of years lot of light were shed on referees decisions, the wrong ones specifically, everyone can do mistakes and sometimes mistakes cost titles, though Benfica should have better fought the last couple of games. I guess them playing the Champions and the domestic cup made it bit hard for them, but again most of the fans here would also be mad if Porto didnt get anything this season ;) even if they were not that worthy as past seasons.

P.S. You have excellent understanding of what a goalkeeper is ;) and if I am not mistaken you are a football player yourself.

its okay bro i just felt like it was a little rude. i understand that the portuguese refs arent that great, as everyone know, but its for everyone that the ref are bad (if u recall when porto got the distance of 2 points away from benfica extended to 5 points, porto had a game against gil vicente and we lost by 3-1 and we lost by 2 offsides goal and 2 pk's not called in porto's favor and i thought that the league was over and benfica was the winner of this years league and i didnt go crazy and blamed the refs)

i do blame the portuguese refs for the ugly and boring style of football that is played in portugal (mainly for all the worthless fouls that are called which kills the fluidity of the game). still i feel like that doesnt mean that u can say they were bought by porto. benfica had the best team on paper this year hands down but with that said that doesnt mean that they had to win the league at all costs.

to me this was the worst porto in ten years, this goes to show that benfica needed the tunnel situation to win the league two or three years back. thats how i see it

I agree it was a bold move taking off a CB, for a an attacking player, but in recent games James has come on as a sub, and has made a big impact, scoring decisive goals. I think VP knew he had to go for it!

im so glad we won today didnt like the game really boring and it wasnt the porto im used to hopefully they can prove me wrong next friday
