I know you guys like to be all positive but that was a bad match. I have to keep saying Allegri doesn't train offensive tactics. Players didn't know where to go, where to pass. Ronaldo was basically walking the entire match.

There is nobody who would make this team click.

Didn't get Allegri either. Young was the only source of danger and they kept getting more and more into it yet he would not bring in another winger on the left. When he finally makes a change he just straight replaces Dybala..WTF

We were making ourselves go to sleep and a mistake could have come at any moment in the usual fashion.
We suck in the final 1/3. The number of wayward shots we had was depressing and I think we could have converted at least one of those dead balls given the current state of their defense. Lindelof and De Gea are the only reason it ended 0 - 1 and not 0 - 2/3. Cancelo is quickly becoming one of our top players.
yeah, i'm a quite positive guy around here..but i'm also a realistic guy

the positive from the match is that Juve got the 3pts from the toughest venue in the group(yeap, i'd consider United a stronger team than Valencia this season). And a win in Turin next 2 weeks would take Juve to the next round

but keeping things on reality check, i kinda agree with ur point that Allegri is not the best when it comes to offensive tactics

2-0 scoreline would've been quite fair for us, but De Gea & Lindelof were a beast last night

all in all i'm happy with the win, and what's more its against one of our European rival, in their turf. Forza Juve!!
Hard working win. Our final balls need to be much better, link up plays. On to Turin.
What a save De Gea. Great shot Ronny
Positioning is all over the place. We have even less offense than usual. 4-4-2 would have been better.
Paulo Dymbolo!!
An early goal is always good for the nerves.
Bonucci, Mandzukic and Can are out. We are gonna be a very attacking Juve tomorrow as a result.

Costa Ronaldo Dybala/Berna. Probably.

Or maybe Max will go crazy and sets it up like this

Costa Ronaldo Berna
----------Dybala
i doubt Costa will start. Idk if its just me be he seems a bit "rusty" even after coming on as a sub against Genoa

But that spearhead attack of Dybala-Berna-Cristiano already looking good
Ronaldo-Dybala
Costa-Pjanic-Khedira-Cuad
Sandro-Chiello-Benatia-Cancelo

I think. There is no way Allegri goes offensive.
Chiellini has to start but I would be tore up between choosing Benatia or Bonucci. Both quality players but I guess it would depend on Allegri's tactics if he's looking to play long-ball or have the defenders sit back and defend.
Man U. @ Old Trafford. They're like a wounded yet highly venomous snake that can still f*ck your day up. We seem to preform well against the big teams so lets hope the lads show up for this one and hopefully their defense continues to let them down.
I just wanna see a good game to be honest. Confident not cautious.
they probably didn't have quite a reputation or form like Fergie's United used to be..but they still can hurt & punished any team on their day. As a matter of fact i'm quite surprised they're the better team against Chelsea in a 2-2 draw last weekend. And not to mention their recent comeback after being 0-2 down
against Newcastle b4 the international break. That's clearly evidence they had the "grinta" of their own.

but having said that Juve own record has been formidable these past years against English opponents. So, we're in for a cracking tie
first dropped point of the season, smh

and its against the team not in really good form. Juve rustiness after international break continues...and from their body language in the match, they'd definitely took Genoa lightly & already thinking about Man United in midweek

and that goal...zzzz...what a silly goal to concede. Benatia & Bonucci both caught sleeping. Only ourselves to blame for this hiccup
Does his passing make up for poor position and overall defending?

@Sam, to honestly answered ur question. Hell nope. Its like Bonny giving us 2 dollars, but he took back 4 dollars from us. He assisted & scored on a 1 or 2 occasions, but then his defensive mistakes let to 4-5 goals conceded

hence why he got exposed very badly with Milan last season

usually Chiellini & Barzagli that helped him "looked" better than he actually is. Yeah, he'd improved since the day when he first signed from Bari to be fair. But in term of defending he's not close to Barza, let alone Chiello
+1
I'm sure Allegri reviews the goals. He chooses to keep Bonucci in the starting line up for a reason. Our defending is lax overall.
You know he had a very good game yesterday except for that mistake. Benatia did the same last year against Real and was dropped.

It's all seem to be about the CL. Benatia will start tomorrow let's hope it goes well.
Ferris bJuveller's day off... :p

Cancelo aside the rest of them should give Allegri 300 push ups and 100 laps around the stadium.

This Juve is so bad not even Cristiano can help them :P
