Atletico will make a fine torture test just to see how far we've come (or fallen behind).

Predictions?

AM 1 - 1 J
J 2 - 1 AM
i kinda prefer a 1-1 scoreline in Wanda Metropolitano instead of 0-0

with 0-0, we would've need to resort to all out attack, and this fall rightly in Atletico hands, bcoz their best feats are sitting behind absorbing pressure and try to hit Juve on the counter

with 1-1 in Spain they'll need to attack and open up space hence its "easier on paper" for Juve to score against em
FINALLY, Dybala scores a goal. A beauty on top of that.

And I must say, Mandzu is so crucial.
That was worth 5 goals

5 days to go...
He should be scoring like this every other week, but he doesn't set himself up, always going for the set up.
Aaron Ramsey is official..

He plays like Claudio. I wonder how his play will change under Allegri.
400K a week player. Madness!

You guys better hope he fills the void Pogba left. Doubt he will though
400k is high, but I think he will turn out to be everything we hoped Pjanic would be. I also believe he will be moulded into a Pirlo style player. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
It's 250K actually. I don't know about this one. We'll just have to see.

Scipio he is not that type of player. He will more or less play the role that Matuidi has now but a bit more attack minded. One twos around the box, arriving late for goals that type of CM. Like Claudio when Conte was here.

Paratici is looking at Tonali for the vice Pjanic role.

man...that 3rd Juve goal

that is the REAL Juve. The stuff that this team are capable of. Brilliant
yeah, but they only play like that when the victory is sealed, not when they need to.
+1
and that what made it frustrating. Bcoz this team can do more. Not just playing like a midtable side, leading by 1 goal and then goes back to play it safe..
Got to feel sorry for Higuain..can't catch a break.
he's the best player for Chelsea in the 6-0 demolition

anyway the same ol' Sarri. That man couldn't take a loss. Leaving Guardiola hanging like that... XD
It's really interesting if you watch only Pjanic. He basically does nothing, messes up most corners as well..

I'm not sure just yet, but doesn't it seem like players we sign have a good debut season, but the more time they spend conforming to Allegri's tactics, the worse they get?

Heart braking news from Brazil. First Sala and now the fire at the Flamengo academy. Can't imagine what their families are going through. May they rest in peace.

hey guys. is anyone new york based. would love to catch up and watch the UCL together
anyway Golazo Higuain opened his account with 2 great goals for Chelsea. I know its against the bottom dweller Huddersfield but still glad to see him do well
+1
his ball off movement is brilliant, its a shame we sold Cesc who is brilliant at picking those runs
indeed.

casual football fans calling him as "fat" "slow" and such, but other great quality for Higuain instead of his finishing is his off the ball movement. He's the closest striker we've in similar mold to Trezeguet
lack of post match comment over here is like a reflection of the rough patch Juve are currently experiencing now

they better get their s**t together b4 Atletico
What can I say Noir? I think I've said everything that needed to be said and they are proving to be correct.

The best coach forms a strategy around his team and brings the best out of them. Allegri is forcing things for safety and doesn't promote offensive football.

If a switch would be made, maybe we would get scored on more, but if we win every game by 2 goals, it wouldn't matter. Because this team doesn't have ways to attack besides lobbing balls into the area, they cannot force themselves onto the opponent when they need to, like when a goal down.

If it were me sitting on that bench, I would bring in a passing coach, hold tiki-taka sessions to the point they are comfortable with one touch passing and ACTUALLY know where the others are so they don't have to think about what's next.
Also practice attacking formations, passing routes for different set of players etc.

This isn't Conte's team anymore. There are more attackers, wingers, fast players that need to be utilized in a completely different manner.

Dybala and Ronaldo both need to be around the area and not far out where they need to dribble past people. They are the ones that can make a turn and curve it into the far corner. We need more wingers on because our midfield passing is slow and lateral, there are no piercing passes or ACCURATE lobs above the defense.

Mario loves playing 1-2 with wingers and Ronaldo loves to arrive for those crosses so why aren't playing that? If you watched the match, you could see Mario frustrated (again) because the play turns around as soon as wanted to make a move past the defense.

This can be summed up by what I always repeat here:

Allegri does not use the players to their advantage, so his teams never show their full potential.
(only if he ends up with the team that shines under his tactics)

"Allegri does not use the players to their advantage"

indeed

imagine if the likes of Klopp or Guardiola getting their hands on this team
