clap clap...bravo boys. nice goal.
but in the end Spain dominates. We have good youth at the moment, but Spain have a good system that constantly breeds new talents.

It will go on like this.

That penalty killed it for Italy but still good try from the players , Spain a force to be reckoned with so much talent. Verrati , Insigne , Gabbia , Destro, Florenzi have a bright future ahead along with Saponara

This game is testament to the psychology of this beautiful game. It would have been easy to get their heads down after conceding so early, but they dug in and Immobile scored. At 1-1, I thought it was a very even game and you could see that Spain were a little concerned, especially given how well we were defending. A poorly misjudged cross that should have been cleared and it's 2-1 to them. In spite of that, the boys kept up the pressure, as the game was still very well in hand.

The ref then made a joke of a decision- absolutely no way that is a penalty AT ALL. I wish there was a way we could use video replay for some of these ridiculous calls. Anyway, at 3-1, it ceased being a contest, because we had to scrap the gameplan and go for broke trying to salvage something. A clumsy challenge and second penalty later, and it felt quite reminiscent of Euro 2012, although I felt cheated of a fair contest in this one.

Sidenote: If Florenzi's sublime effort had gone in, not only would we have had the goal of the tournament, but it would have been interesting to see Spain playing from behind (having not conceded a goal before the final!)

Serie A clubs and their coaches should hand more and more chances to youngsters to further their development. For example, Inter this season were going to do bad anyway with all those injuries, but still they never gave their primavera talents a chance. With Benitez at Napoli, I am also worried a little bit for Insigne. I don't remember a particular young player the fatty nurtured.

Good buy

you guys should really read this a good history lesson
Good win , fully deserved by italy "il maestro" world class as usual, de sciglio played amazing but his crosses were much to desire for. Barzagli made mistakes which are unusual for him , Chiellini a rock in the back all and all good game
Marchisio and Giach on the other hand...
I think Prandelli should have figured out by now that Marchisio is just suited to a Central role.
And Giaccherini well it says a lot about Giovinco and the rest that he gets the nod ahead of them.He is not Italy quality.
sad to say this but the 3 main culprit in the match were our players in the form of Barzagli(biggest culprit), Marchisio & Giac(both contributed nothing whatsoever..okay maybe not Giac for that assist :D )

Hopefully we gonna take another 3pts against the Samurai and secure our passage to the semi-final
Barzagli with uncharacteristic mistakes....Montolivo is hopeless on the counter-attack
