thanks for the clear up :) hehe
So looking at our transfers so far, we have spent around 8 mil net. Still got a lot of cash to burn.

Morata out :(
Pjanic, Alves, Benatia in. Not bad at all.
I'm very confused about what happened in Morata transfer. At first I thought the reason Morata went back to RM was that he wanted the move and RM just had to activate his buy back clause. However i just realized that It is possible RM will sell him to another team right away. Did Morata have any say in the transfer back to RM? Since Juve is desperately looking for a striker (Higuain release clause), why are they not considering buying Morata from RM? Or Juve just doesnt want him anymore? Pleae clear this up for me. Thanks
It's a bit confusing. He was happy to stay but also did not mind going back. It is Real Madrid after all. However he has stated that he wants to be a first team player and don't wanna play second fiddle to Benzema.
As of now Real seem to wanna keep him but in football you never know.
Whether they are keeping him or not, they will profit from this so they activated the clause. Morata also doesn't mind where he plays between the two clubs, but I'm sure he is staying at Madrid otherwise he wouldn't be happy atm and we would have heard.

Though latest news suggest they did decided to take him off the market.
Ah... so he agreed to go back. He's Spanish after all. Before Morata accepted to go back, RM probably had to ensure him of his 1st team role in the team. It became confusing because skysport reported that RM was willing to sell Morata. There is no way that Benzema would agree to lose his place to Morata, so maybe Juve would be interested? Thanks for the replies guys
We are not paying close to 70- 80 million Euros to buy a 28 year old CF who has a knack for bottling it in the biggest games, are we? If this happens, I think most of the good and shrewd work that has been done by Marotta and co might be overshadowed. (But, I also fully understand that there aren't many good CFs in the market right now, it's just that I think we'd be overpaying for him.)
I am not crazy about this deal either. He scored a ton of goals last season and I'm not saying he is a one-season wonder either but I'm not sure about that fee. There are rumors about a Tevez return on the cheap (even though he looks like he is headed for Corinthians), and other rumors about Gabigol, who looks promising and we could get him at 1/4 the price of Higuain.
And tomorrow when we are facing Barca in the CL, a starting team with Higuain can win us the game. One with Mandzukic will not.

Try to see the bigger picture here guys, If we land him, the league is already over before it's begun and we have Serie A's record scorer to help us in Europe and so what if he is 28, Nedved was 28 when he came here and he won the Ballon D'or. 36 friggin' goals! The best ever.

And if not, we have proven our dominance in the league, once more. We have bought Roma's best player and are trying to get the league's best player from Napoli, our closest rival. If we fail to land him by simply not agreeing to Napoli's demands, it is clear that Higuain will not stay in Naples anymore. Even the best know it by now, you either play for Juve in Italy or if you are top quality and want to win titles, go to another league. Finally we have shown the world that we mean business and if we want, we can go toe to toe with the biggest clubs financially(for the 1st time) and on the field.

It's a win win.

You've somehow sold the idea to me Jujex!
and ppl starting to branded us like Bayern/Bayernliga (SerieJuve/Juve A)

eh f**k u all for all i care. I don't give crap about our rivals and Juve weakening the league, so what? We've been the biggest contributor for Serie A co-efficient points for the last 5 seasons

@Jujex if only i can gave u +10 instead

okay so first we bring in the coveted trequartista then we load up the defense for the 3 men line up. So which is it?

Or are we playing a 3-4-1-2? :)
I think for the 1st time the club is preparing for two formations. Back 3(352) for the league and back 4(433) for Europe.

As for the 3, as long as Claudio is out and we have 3 mids starting I think the shape will remain as it is because in a 3412 Pogba's attacking qualities will be sacrificed for Pjanic's trequatista role. And as good as Pjanic is as a treq, Pogba's qualities cannot be sacrificed for anyone in my opinion. He is our Midfield game changer.

But when Claudio comes back I think we might see 4312 again albeit I don't think we can win CL with that formation.
