MOTM for me is Benatia, he played well yesterday. the game going for a draw seems like pre plan and I dunno why Allegri bench Mandz which he is badly needed yesterday instead of bringing in Bentacur. Welcome back our prince Marchisio, is been a while since he come on for us. ket's hope all 4 team draw on the final week match .
yes. Benatia was MotM last night. Credit where its due

the best result was probably all draw in the final matchday, eventhough i'm hoping Barca to atleast beat SCP for us to confirm our place regardless of our result in Greece...but at the same time i hope we beat Olympiakos too. No sane fan would've wished for his/her own team to achieve a negative result
+1
Yes Benatia was immense, kept Suarez in his back pocket. He and Marchisio were bright spots during the game. Marchisio looks as calm on the ball as ever.

And make no mistake, Olympiakos in Greece is no walk in the park. And Sporting DEFINITELY have what it takes to surprise Barca at Camp Nou, so I hope we don't take any chances and attack, attack, attack.
call me anything, i'd been known probably as the most positive & optimistic fan around here, but 1 point against Barca last night, was a 1 point GAINED, rather than a 2 points LOST

that's show how poor we're at the moment

i'm confident Barca will beat Sporting in Camp Nou, or draw atleast, bcoz at the rate we're going now i'm not sure if we can beat Olympiakos in Greece...
Anyway, anyone caught the moment after the final whistle where Gigi went over to Ter Stegen and started praising him for his final minute save? What a guy!
He is the definition of class, and your fans were amazing too ,got goosebumps when they gave standing ovations to iniesta and Messi :)
I can't believe what I just watched. We are at home. We sit back for 85 minutes, allowing Barca 70% possession. We don't even have the movement to string a good counter. Didn't even try to retain possession, punted everything long once we stopped their attacks.

We were playing for a draw from the first whistle.

Small-club tactics.
Oh and Sporting are just a point behind us now. This is the exact same "Draw Now, Win Later" attitude that led Italy out of the WC.
..and similar when we got kicked by Galatasaray not too long ago to the Europa League...sigh
God Cuadrado sucks so bad... I don't think I can watch him anymore.
He has some good moments, but I feel that they are becoming more and more rare; can't quite explain it but he needs to get back to rampaging and putting good crosses in.
His good moments cannot justify constant poor performances. Fact is we play him and it's a 20% chance he'll have a least bit decent game. Otherwise he's just an embarrassment.

For a club like us, I don't think these are the performances we can condone. A player who has 1 good game in 5 is not a player that's gonna help us win the CL.
Douglas is so good. Hope Allegri doesn't take him off.

well..

not surprising one bit to me. Loyal player(s) are like a diamond in a rough nowadays.

but still, out of all those people, i don't mind Pogba tbh, but Dani Alves? The one whose responsible for the breakdown in CL final...

loyalty is precious indeed

*hopefully this is just rumours/games by tabloid/media
Tavecchio resigns. Nothing is fixed yet but it's a start.

Good riddance. Let's try to get a non-racist dinosaur for the next one shall we?
+2
Don't want a dinosaur.....let's get someone with experience and progressive thinking, and who isn't overawed by his own egotistic self.
+1
that's a good news....
Albertini as President anyone?
a good start nonetheless. Taking out the cancer (might be a little too late after the damage was done...), but still, a good start
I don't understand strategies about line ups and all that. But why we don't use Douglas Costa on first line up?? I was really happy we got him this summer because he is very fast and skilled. With his freighting run he instills fear on opp. teams. Why and why?
+2
Because Allegri loves his aerial superiority, which is absolutely undisputable.

Problem is, on the left wing, his aerial prowess count for nuts because the ball ends up going backwards anyway, and play restarts from our CBs. So predictable.

Berna and Costa need permanent starts on the wings. Bring in Pjaca, Mandz and Cuad as subs.
I silently rage quitted last night

I just stopped watching after the 2nd one and went to the grocery store at 7.30am! Bought Oranges and squeezed me a juice.
