just finished watching.

Wasn't all too convinced tbh. There is more to the fact that Dinamo couldn't deal with our defense and theirs was awful.

I feel like some things need to be cleared. First Allegri. The only reason he made those subs is because we were up by 3. Perfect chance to lessen some of the hate he has been getting sub wise.

Second..Dybala was painfully hard to watch. I mean we all know that he has a golden foot and nice goal and all, but my god...
It's like the whole team's deficiencies are taking shape with him.
I get that we have chemistry issues, but months are more than enough to get some routine going and formations set up.

In this regard we have nothing. Remember how Conte always had the front 2 lined up and one would step over?
Things like that are non existent under Allegri and now that we are not even in form, we have nothing to fall back on.

Looking at the movement and the passing. Count how many times players make runs and nothing happens. Or how many times we pass back to the same player or give the ball away. As I said it's especially visible on Dybala now. He wants to please Alves so much it's getting awkward.

I'm telling you, a top5 team would tear us apart right now. Some of the quick passes they actually attempted needed to be dragged through the defenders and by the end someone was on all fours trying to dig the ball forward.

This is all Allegri. Don't know what happens on training, but millionaire players should be able to pass better. Maybe some Futsal matches midweek would do them good.

We got the result easier than I thought, but I wasn't happy to be honest. Well happy for Dybala on that goal and seeing some forward passes from Pjanic, but otherwise...we have a long way to go.

oh yeah..WTF is up with defense on set pieces? :D
I see your point about Dybala and Dani crystal clearly, and that has been my main gripe about this new team so far. It seems that Dybala and Dani are trying to replicate a Messi-Dani partnership, and it has gone so far that Dani has replaced Dybala as our main playmaker. I mean, look at the number of times Dani Alves has been in the CAM/CF position, while Dybala pulls back or drifts wide. You see much less of the wide support that Licht or Cuadrado offers.

I don't get whats going on in training, but it seems like Allegri gives Dani so much respect that our other players on the right side like Dybala and Khedira have to take a back seat, and we become a less fluid team. The other side with Alex Sandro and Pjanic is looking much better to me, with good build up play that leads to service to Higuain. We are not Barcelona and we shouldn't try to be.

No hate on Dani Alves though, 1+2 goals at this stage of the season is always appreciated.
Dybala drops way too deep recently, although it's kinda understandable because we don't have a good link between our mids and attackers.
Good to see Alves doing well :) I have no doubt the free kick went 100% according to his plan!

His new nickname is Pinball Dani !
Easy game, comfortable win. Glad to see Dybala scored, hopefully that will boost his confidence. 4-4-2 is interesting, a short reminisce of our '03 formation.
The 4-4-2 was a joy to watch against Dinamo, but it had a few worrying drawbacks. The midfield was far too exposed, it was a good thing we played mostly in their half. And when Dinamo countered, the defence was too thin, resulting in a 4v4 situation a couple of times. A team like Napoli would have punished us mercilessly.

Nonetheless, it's a good evolution so far, hope to see more diverse tactics from Allegri as we did today!

agree with the point about 4-4-2. The midfield looked "hollow" bcoz we don't have the actual ball-winning MF.

Hopefully we'll sign Witsel in January
Yep, but Dybala was playing more upfront with 4-4-2
Alvesssss againnnn :D
Alves at it again!
Did something happen to Allegri?! 3 attacking substitutions, in a 25 minute period, and it's not even the 70th minute yet??
Pjaca on! Time for 4-2-4??
More like 4-4-2
Oh finally, golden boy!
wohhhoooooooo dybaallllaaaa
This is how you score your first goal of the season. Brilliant.
For real..
The drought has ended! I repeat, the drought has ended!
