now Jovetic looks to be an integral part to Man City this season...its looks more and more that our chances to sign him goes from slim to none (don't blame me, i'm still hoping he would eventually don the bianconeri shirt..and yes, f**k you Fiorentina)
+1
Why f**k Fiorentina? They have the right to say no to our cheap offers when someone else is willing to pay more.
+3
hey Jujex where have been man , welcome back!
he went for meditation, all for Vidal to stay.
+1
Been busy with school John plus there isn't much to be excited about with football these days.
no Jujex i'm not giving my middle finger to em regarding Jojo transfer alone... but to all those unending "crisis" between us and em..where most of the time Juve don't give a s**t about but they keep on clinging about it

and yes, F U intermerda too..just for the sake of it :D
+1
See..I was 50% right. I said Jujex will return with (Manchester United) next to his name :)

Jovetic would have needed another injury to get into our price range, but it would make him a giant risk as well. He is in the champion team of the money league so I doubt he would want to move.

For what it's worth, playing football there probably feels better with all the nice stadiums and full crowds.

The sad truth is that being Italian is hurting us in more way than one.
I mean we are a world wide brand in football yet if you look at that shirt sponsor deal chart that has been going around, we are not even in the top 10 (though the Adidas deal will improve that). There is no money in Italy.

..and why the fck is it the LAST league to start??
lol, I don't who's situation is worse!
I'm hoping to see some excitement from Italy at least, Conte should start bringing these youngsters in although he won't if they are not used by their clubs. All in all this has been a terrible summer.
I have never been this disinterested in a new football season since ever.
I still can't get over the deals United pulled. 180m/year just from adidas and chevi...
We currently have 4 strikers...not enough. There is talk that Falcao or Podolski might join us.

Falcao would be an amazing move becuase it would turn a lot of European heads towards Juventus and truly make us competitive in the European stage as well as provide depth for Seria A and Coppa Italia.

Podolski, on the other hand, would not be much of an addition imo. I would rather have a young striker that could develop instead of a striker who would simply be a bench warmer with very little upside potential.

But let's keep our fingers crossed for Falcao (even though he wants to go to Real Madrid)
I really doubt we can get Falcao his wages are too big for Juve , he'll probably go to Madrid
We are assuming Morata won't pan out? I have high hopes for him.....just wish it was Conte moulding him.
Some good news guys after the protest from the fans Juventus will change the shirt yellow numbers to black. It will look like this

didn't even know about it.
darn it, I already bought it with the yellow numbers
Black is badass

and im glad fans like us actually have some say towards the club decision

keep up the protest Juventino
I honestly have no idea whats happening on he field ....

Just a friendly nothing more or less usually who wins the Tim trophy doesnt win the Seria A title so good for us :)
Yes, but every friendly should be played for the purpose of getting ready.

I honestly couldn't figure out who played where in 45 minutes. Pretty sure Pepe was playing ST though.
So I never saw anything (tbh I even forgot that this was being played- such is its relevance to me). I would have liked to see how the team played- chemistry, formations, new players integrating into the team.

Let's just say I don't have much hope in the upcoming season. It's weird how this time last year, I was trying to figure out an over/under for how much we'd win the league by- I was so confident in Conte and the team. Even with Roma's ridiculous start, I knew that it was only a matter of time until we caught them.

I hope my worry is misplaced.
well Sam, from what I saw today, we shouldn't expect anything good.

It looks like it will take way more time for the team to play any kind of effective 4 defender system.

I don't even know what the hell was that second match. 4-5-1 with Pepe as ST probably. How that helped anything is beyond me.
well...the 4321 clearly doesnt work. no clear ideas going forward. line up wasnt optimal but still. 0 clear chances in 45 minutes...

lol..for the second match I cant even figure out the formation..or whos playing...such mediocre sight.

I know I'm basing this on a goal.com article, but it seems plausible. I think, like most of you, Conte had enough of our big wigs policies. But apparently, Imobile was one of the contributing factors. He wanted him at Juve, but our big wigs opted to selling our share of his contract. Now we don't have Conte nor Immobile. We have James Purefoy (a.k.a. Allegri) as our coach and the same big wigs pulling the shots. Regardless of Purefoy's/Allegri's best intentions, this working environment is not prone to success. Our big wigs have to step up their game. We need world class young talents. And we need it Now! Getting players like Morata and Coman where steps in the right direction tho. Not having Zaza, Immobile and Berardi where steps in the wrong direction.
+1
Just read it.

It is clear as day that Conte got frustrated. We are asked to compete with the big guns, but we have to do it from the back of the row.

If you look at it, none of Conte's targets arrived. Well, Morata I guess...but he may have been 2nd pick after Ciro.
Reto Ziegler is no longer a Juventus players the club and the player have rescinded the contract. Boom another deadweight gone

Could I be any less excited for the season to start?... -.-

The only thing that stuck out for me was Gio's good pre-season. I really hope he has a great season amidst all the chaos.

If we keep Vidal i'll be happy to be honest
