Never thought I'd see the day. Good luck Gigi, you are a legend!

Grazie Gigi

Tried to embed yours Noir853 but it didn't work.....here it is:

We are losing another player who isn't just a legend for us, but for football as a whole. I think fans of every other club, even in Italy will say without hesitation that Gigi is one the greatest and more than that he is a great person in every sense of the word.

This is something I am proud of as a Juve supporter. We constantly provided the world with class. You may have your Ronaldos and Neymars, but to be world class and be without controversy, respected by all is not an every day thing.

and to be frank if Gigi and Ale would have had the same rank in the club it would be Buffon with the armband because while Alex was class as well, now I feel that Buffon has an even greater presence as Capitano, as someone who would help his teammates and be front for the club.

casual football fans can say they're lucky to lived in Messi/Ronaldo era

Us? I would say we're lucky to lived in era where we have Gigi as not only our great goalkeeper, but also a great captain, leader, role model, and a great person/human being outside the football pitch
+1
TBH, this Messi/CR7 era is quite boring.

Back then, we have more world class players, and not just attackers, to compare. Just look at Baloon D'or nominees before Messi/CR7 era.
Grazie Capitano. You will always be the best.

I won't lie, I'm not doing very well right now.

Next season is going to be weird..

Mancini will be the new Azzurri boss...maybe got chance to see Balotelli back to the squad....
+1
At this point that won't make a difference. Immobile arguably a better striker now.

I wonder what he will do. Will he force his own crap on the team or find and use the strengths of the squad.
I'll take Mario over Ciro for Italy any day of the week. I like Ciro but Mario is more complete player and when Mario puts his head down and works, his something else. His matured a lot more now and knows he won't get to many chances anymore. I hope things work out for him.

As for Maninci. This will either be great or turn out into a mess. As much as I like the guy for his time at City, he hasn't been able to hold a job down for long since he left us.
+4
I agree Moe66- Balotelli always seems to step up and play well when he puts on the Italy shirt, whereas Immobile seems to completely forget how to play the game; whether psychological or not, the shirt definitely weighs heavier for Immobile.

I have no idea what to make of Mancini- he seems like the 3rd or 4th choice, rather than the preferred option. Critical time in the rebuild of the national side, and we need a revolutionary manager who can get the team playing good again....perhaps even great again.

My Italian line up : -

(4-4-2)

Donnarumma
Darmian / Rugani / Bonnucci / De Sciglio
Jorginho / Verratti / Insigne / Florenzi
Balotelli / Bellotti

Subs:
Perin
Zappacosta
Pellegrini
Spinazolla
Chiesa
Cutrone
Immobile

Back to old school... ;) (Bonu captain)
Wat are you guys line up gonna be like...?
Not sure about Belotti.
just watch the Italy U17 side that beats Belgium to advance into the final of Euro U17, check out 1 of the scorer Emmanuel Gyabuaa #8 (from Atalanta youth club), man he looks like a young Pele, look at his physical..

With Mancini, we can expect a 4-4-2 formation with some slight variations at times. He has tried a back 3 but Italy should play theirs strengths at this point.

Florenzi---Chellini----Bonucci---Spinazzola
-----------Verrati----Jorginho------------
Canderva-------------------------Insigne-------
