Garcia really messed this up. I mean they play with 4 at the back, but leave the sides open for the attacking wingers. Robben was constantly open.

Suicide.
Just watched the 1st 35 mins of the Roma-Bayern game, it shows how far behind we are, I mean, it was satisfying to watch them get hammered but at the same time it shows how far behind we are from European football Elite and how nothing has been done for us to improve in that area since we got back in it.
Looking at Bayern players, almost all of them are comfortable on the ball with quick feet,they can dribble at will,with great sense of space and movement. Looking at my team we still are playing the same way we did 3 years ago with less intensity.
With our transfer campaign again being what it was, do you guys think that our management actually care about a team that can make the CL final or are they satisfied as long as we are bringing in it's money?
I think it's a step by step approach by the board. It sucks for us, but it's not like we can do anything about it. They look at the finances for the club as a whole and not just the team.

I have yet to watch the match, but I can say the gap isn't this big. It's Roma's first season and beating this Bayern is nearly impossible.
You look at us, Real won it and they only beat us through mistakes. Now we played the other finalist and they were on the back foot the whole match.

Roma played a draw at City, the so called champions of England.

It's not that far off, but we can be certain no Italian team will win it for a good while. Without top talent, you can't.
What bothers me is the lack of penetration, I've said many times before with our setup we don't have a way to penetrate from the wings, almost everyone know how to stop us and our strong core can hold for so long, as you saw with Atletico , we lose concentration one sec and we concede.
What I'm worried about is that they are not even bothering looking for wide players or attacking mids at all.
that result kinda gave Italy & Serie A a bad name...but after all those bad words coming from those camps & the entire world hurled out to our Juve for the past few weeks, meh i think they just got put on their place last night

after all the talk about Juve as a "disgrace in Europe"..i admit i kinda enjoy the spectacle last night ;)

I loved it to be honest brought them right back to earth
Fun facts;

The last & only time b4 Bayern scored 5 goals in the first half in UCL, was against Lille back in 2012

Lille manager at that time? Rudi Garcia

Roma LOL other times i would have felt sorry for them but since the game in torino F them . Forza Juve

I went to Goal.com right away after the game and I read the comments and some idiot said that we paid of the ref to make sure Roma would get annihilated lol very funny.

yeah...that's not happening.
That was a crazy game
@Spigy

yeah, it happened. Last night ;0 ;)
Very unfocused performance. Allegri should have rotated more. It's clear that most heads weren't in the game and the guys on the bench really want to play and would have gotten the 3 points with hard work.

I don't know what Gio has to do to get a start. Coman was dreadful and not doing what he knows, which running past players.
This was the game for Llorente to pull a header out of nothing, but it won't happen it seems.

Only Asamoah, Marchisio and Morata are rested from those who count. Going to be a hard night in Greece.

Let's hope Vidal makes it.
What a dreadful game ... hopefully we do better against the greeks
My anger throughout the game got ahead of me
Why is Ogbonna shooting
