Football Italia says our club has struck a partnership with Ligue 1 outfit SC Bastia, our youth players might go there for first team experience and we might get young prospects from them.

1. Cavani (not a chance we'll get him)
2. Lewa (EPL bound - no chance)
3. Jovetic (player + cash will get it done)
4. Higuain (under Conte, I think he can become a great striker)
5. Tevez (only is Higuain didn't work out)
6. Suarez (he would need a kick in the ass from Conte but has great dimension as a striker)
7. Ibra (hopefully we don't go down the list this far)
8. Muriel (no)
9. Podolski (no)
10. Sanchez (no - invest those types of funds elsewhere)
2. Lewa (EPL bound - no chance)

9. Podolski (no)
10. Sanchez (no - invest those types of funds elsewhere)
1. Cavani- TOO EXPENSIVE
2. Lewandowski- he would rather stay in Germany before coming to us
3. Suarez- nasty win-at-all-costs player who is hated by everyone except the team he plays for. I would have him.
4. Higuain- he has become very clinical in front of goal and is probably already signed by now
5. Ibra- say what you want about him but you are guaranteed no less than 20 goals a season from him. Wages may be an issue, and there still is a bad taste left over from our last go-around.
6. Jovetic- I still don't think his injury problems are behind him....if he can remain healthy like RvP did, then I would probably have him higher on the list.
7. Sanchez- young, pacey and wants to prove that the Barca decision was a mistake.
8. Tevez- still a good player, but too moody for an authoritative figure like Conte.
9. Muriel- no disrespect but at this point in his career, he is a squad player at best with us. Maybe he develops later on into something special, but not the road we should be going down.
10. Podolski- why is he even under consideration?

1. Cavani - my ultimate choice but we know we have less than 1% chance to sign him. Taking the rivalry aspect & we've to compete with sugardaddy club into consideration
2. Jovetic - i already wrote why i wanted him a few post below
3. Higuain - 50/50 signing but i still prefer him if the move for Jojo fail
4. Suarez - he can be crazy sometimes but there's others whose worse than him but nowhere near his class as a player. Great addition
*the rest i don't care much..including Ibra. Our team currently good enough to win the league again..so i don't know why we need Ibra at 1st place (and let alone the bad blood in the past)

Inter sack Stramaccioni aka the "new Mourinho" that is what italian media said after they beat us lol
They won 16 games and LOST 16 games! They had a goal difference of -2! I know that there is a lot that can be attributed to injuries (esp Milito) but we all knew that someone was going to be held accountable and that someone was Strama.
Hearing that Mazzari has already been penciled in as replacement. Also Benitez headed to Napoli. Funny how football works.

atleast we can be confident about Napoli taking european tournament seriously lol
as for strama, i remember the whole italy dubbed him as the new "special one"...well he turned out to be just "the normal one" afterall ;|

Transfer News reviews.Just the Important ones.
From what I read from the italian market experts and newspapers they all seem to have the same idea. Our prime targets are Both Higuain and Jovetic not just one.Conte's priority is Jovetic. Also Tevez is considered as backup if the Higuain deal deos not go through.and these are the details.
1-Higuain-There was a meeting on wednesday in madrid between Marotta and Higuain's agents(His father & brother) and reports say that an agreement has been reached for a 4 year contract with a basic annual salary of 4.5 mil a year plus bonuses.
The meeting with Real though won't happen till june because of their elections and the fact that they need to appoint a manager first. As for the fee they would ask for 30 and Marotta would offer around 22 which means an agreement could be reached for around 25.
2-Jovetic-As you probably know he is an Arsenal target as well but reports say that he prefers to stay in Italy and his agent confirmed it yesterday which means that his first choice is to join us.As you may know we had an agreement with his camp last season but Fiorentina did not want to let him go however this time they have confirmed that he will probably leave which means he is gonna be sold.
As for the offer the reports say that the fee Fiorentina is asking for is about the same as Higuain but this time Marotta will only offer Player plus cash for him.The players that he would offer are one of Quags or Matri or Isla(maybe even Gio but the possibility is low) and he may also add Marrone to it as well whether on a co-ownership or his full card.
This one seem 50/50 with Arsenal to me since they are wiling to pay the money for him but we are his preferred choice which means it depends on whether Della Valle will accept the player plus cash deal.
I think the perfect scenario would be to include Matri in the deal as it would cut at least 10 mil off of his 25 mil estimation.
So what do you think overall?

give them either Isla,Matri,Gio...heck even all 3 of them as long as we got Jojo signature X)
Higuain is a 50/50 type of signing. Whether he'll turn good we'll yet to see. Jojo, well he knew Serie A like a back of his head..and younger too. Since we already have Llorente, Jojo is someone we need upfront to accommodate him apart from Vuci

The best would be if we get both Jojo and Higuain, but that won't happen unless some current strikers can be sold.
Especially with Llorente coming in.
In that case we would already have 3 strikers. Gio was told that he is staying and it's no surprise looking at the fact that Conte wants the 4-3-3 option for next season.
So yeah, if 2 comes, 2 needs to go. Problem is that they won't want to. Nobody wants to leave and why would they?..
Soon as we get one signature, Marotta will start dealing in players. Although the good thing is that Fiorentina may actually want them.
On a side note. I think it would be an interesting idea to change the salary system to monthly basic wage (like tenth of what they make now)+ /match+bonuses. That way it would be in the interest of every player to play. They would fight harder for a spot or in this case, transfer to a smaller team for a starting spot.

@Nedved007 - who else? who would you choose that would be in our price range and fit what Conte is trying to build?
I would welcome Higuain and JoJo, even if we give up Matri, Isla, and Quags in the process. Llorente, Higuain, JoJo, Vuc, and Qio would be a much improved attacking core, especially with the desire to have a more attacking tactical formation like 4-3-3 or even try out 4-2-4 again.

If I were Marrotta, I would offer Isla with 10 - 15 million cash as an offer for Jovetic, Tevez .... not even once.
As per higuain, that deal look fishy to me, if we can get him around 18 - 22 million is fine, other than that absolutely no.
I won't sell Gio to other club, he has something special, this guy had speed and accelaration, he can play as a winger and behind striker (trequarterista).
This is my point of view :
Jovetic (priority target)
Higuain ( only if the deal come true)
Tevez ( f**k Off )
Cavani ( Bring him in immediately even though if we have to swap with 2 player and cash )

@Lugs - no way Napoli will sell Cavani to us...even for a bunch of players. EPL sides will offer much more money than we can and Rafa will want transfer funds over players he may or may not want.
@Spigy- I like your idea of providing players monetary incentives for making the match roster but it does have a minor flaw in it. Ultimately the roster is the manager's decision and if, for whatever reason, your manager doesn't particularly like you, he can keep you from getting certain bonuses even if you merit being on the team. You would want to believe that all managers operate ethically and in the best interest of the team, but sometimes ego will get in the way, and in our league especially, there is a thin line between legit vs corrupt.
Juventus fans will find this interesting!

Demise is not the right word here.We are the 4th league now I give you that but there is nothing suggesting we are going down.If anything the teams have learned their lessons and are investing more responsibly and building from youth setups.
The part about loyalty is not very accurate either. If anything Italians are some of the most loyal players out there.Mentioning Zlatan and Cassano as the examples of loyalty is rather poor.
In Balotelli's case he always wanted to play for Milan so nothing wrong with that.
The european history part was a good review.

Cmon you are being a little harsh he is the president of Uefa what else can he say? The best thing he should have done would have been not to say anything
he or anyone else can say whatever they think. Its a freedom of speech
but they all knew the titles dat were won in 2005 & 2006 were won by sheer determination, hardwork, sweat, tears & blood by those who involved during that season..
...so for starters, i couldn't care less what he or anyone else have to say

If you look at his comments, he never ever says anything from a players POV. He never talks about Juve like he is past of the club.
He is the head of UEFA. He simply can't and by now it is all he knows.

yeah, because clubs always sell their most valuable player...typical Madrid shenanigans. They want what they can't have. And to think, they would want Vidal for Higuain...Vidal is worth 3 Higuains from Juve's perspective.
Higuain = not really wanted at Madrid
Vidal = the M.V.P of the M-V-P at Juventus
and then they want to bargain like this? lol

Serie A already ended but there's still going to be a great weekend awaits us

Higuain, Jovetic, Suarez, Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Lewandowski, Tevez, Podolski .. ... . .... ....... Only rumors, at the end.......... Borriello will back ...... I got bad feeling about this
Cavani started it..
followed by Lewa..
after that Ibra..
then Diamanti name came out of nowhere
then Jovetic..
..next is Higuan...
after him is Tevez...
now its Poldi..
..
take out the "smallest" name from the list and that was probably Juve signing
omg! OMG! our biggest fear & the pattern starting to repeated itself again

I think it is mainly due to the Viola being interested in Isla, and now that Jovetic is definitely leaving, they might be open to Isla plus cash... Only thing I can think of since player + cash was on the table previously.
@Noir853- you would trade 3 players AND cash for Jojo? Jovetic had 13 goals and 7 assists; Ljajic had 11 goals and 8 assists in 3 FEWER games!! Maybe the numbers don't paint the whole picture but still....3 players?
@Sam
of course i would. This is not some ordinary player this is Jovetic we're talking about
btw those player i mentioned above(no disrespect to them) but there's a reason why i picked em as example instead of others from the roster
1) Isla - i don't mind losing him as we have Lich, Padoin, even Barzagli to take on his position
2) Matri - inconsistent. On his off day he's worse than let say Vuci or Quag. 99.99% anonymous on the pitch let alone helping the team in defending
3) Gio - similar player to Jojo, can play similar position from SS,LWF,RWF,even CF..but Jojo is better bcoz of he's stronger, more skill & better passer/flicker than Gio
