AC Milan sign Matteo Musacchio.

Despite Montella early struggles, his building a good team and has an eye for signing good talent.
He did well at Viola, getting just the right players to play to his liking without breaking the bank, tactically he isn't quite on the same level as Allegri, Conte and Ancelotti but he does have an eye for players, perhaps he is missing that assistant coach to take him to the next level as has happened with Wenger and a club that is willing to spend on him, Sarri is also doing really well at Napoli but than again, they've been getting their players spot on long before Sarri arrived...

eitherway, read Moratti gave his blessing to the appoint of Spalletti, with many major news papers already publishing about it,he is coming off from a strong performance with his Roma side, was impressed with how they dismantled Inter in their last game, even publicly stating how Pioli's team are set up and the way they play before coming up against them but than again, they nearly threw away second spot with a loss against city rivals Lazio and couldn't overcome their inferioty complex against Juve as they crumbled horribly during their defeat against them... he won't probably do wonders, as the team is already in shambles any indication of how well he is doing will be done at the club with those closest to him as they've seen first hand how the team was with Mancini, De Boer and than Pioli... and to be honest the team can't do any worse than they've than this season except for ending up in relegation battle next season and it will be too much to ask for immediate success or take it for granted if it arrives as it could be easily undone as happened with Pioli... much of the judgment will come when the team does bad and how well he is able to cope with it and mend it putting aside who is to praise for it, is the club management? the coach? or the players? in all honesty it's collectively with each department taking responsibility and Zhang the arbitrator....
The club higher ups need to realize success won't come overnight. No matter who the manager is, his going to need time to build his team because this team lacks chemistry and togetherness, no surprise as managers and players come and go every 6 months. The management can only blame themselves as sacking Pioli was premature thinking.

If Spalleti comes in, his going to have his work cut out for him. Roma has also managed to get good quality players, Inter is monster job of its own and I wonder if his up for the task. Won't be surprised if 7-8 players come in during the summer.
So sick of seeing the Inter owners claming they can buy Messi or Ronaldo or Sanchez. Get a good manager and give him time first.

When the next manager comes in, I hope Inter can focus on signing more Italain/Serie A based talent. I mean Gagliardino cost less than half of what Joao Mario cost and who came out as the better player for Inter? Inter need to play it smart as you can only attract so much by name and past glory before players get better offers.
There are a couple of talented players out in Serie A, hard to find them as Serie A clubs are notorious for not giving them enough chances, lately the trend has changed with the abolishment of co-ownership thus forcing clubs to invest in players at their disposal in Serie A instead of them losing years in lower leagues, nevertheless De Sciglio would be a welcome purchase, than the usual Berardi and Bernad but any big money move should be done for Coutinho, who practically grew up at Inter and knows the club well and deserves a big contract for his performance at Liverpool... Kova with his time at Real, must've matured really well if he still has maintain that level headed of his that got him to Real in the first place... than it's a question of defenders to replace Ranoch and Miranda, please don't let it be Pepe! I've given up the dream of Veratti with a host of world class clubs chasing him...
Wtf? Pepe? His a great defender but he will expire in a year or two. I think more Serie A based talent would be great. I wouldn't mind seeing Samir of Udi and De Sciglio and Darmian this summer for the back-line. Sell Brozo and Joao Mario, should have enough money to buy at least 2 quality MFs. Patrik Schick seems like a long shot but would love to bring him along if we can get rid of Barbosa, Eder and Palacio. Big investment would be Bernardeschi as well.
...
Just send out the primavera players out on the field and send the seniors players out on vacation for them to prepare to come back for next season with a set of rules and regulation to help them achieve the goals for that season... there is no point of keeping them around, managed to watch 20 mins and turned it off
three coaches in one season? I can somewhat understand now how Palermo fans must feel! Keept reading about how desperate inter were to hire Conte and Simeone by offering huge contracts but it shouldn't be something that's on the front pages, who is leaking these stories? and with Conte I'm having bad omen as it was with when Lippi arrived and messed up the Inter of that time, no need to offer huge contracts to coaches when this team is lacking in so many departments and the contract of the coaches above the team in table isn't so high... for me I'd love to see Eusebio Di Francesco or even Gian Piero Gasp given another shot at Inter but out of the high profile coaches Spaletti looks tempting, if he had the balls to bench Totti, take on the ultras and wrangle out that much of a team that came second so many times, he'd be a welcome addition to Inter...
You have got to be kidding me! Another manager sacked! I actually thought Inter had potential with Pioli and he knew what he was doing. This wasn't his squad apart from Gaglia but of course the owners are going to blame the manager like everything is his fault.

What a bunch of morons we have running the club at the moment. Mancini couldn't get the players he wanted and they sacked him, brought in De Boer who really had no idea what he was doing and was clearly not prepared. The revolving door of managers coming in and out has been worse than the transfers at Inter. No one knows what the hell their doing. Theirs so desperate for Simone but Simone nor Conte can't take out their magic wands and suddenly turn this team into a world beater, they well need time and funding. Even after almost 7 years, this system of sacking managers hasn't actually improved the team at all. Its clearly not working.

I don't know what to even say, what a joke of a season. I'm wondering what manager even wants a job at Inter, they pressure the manager into finishing top 3 but Juve, Roma and Napoli are strong teams that are tough to knock out considering the quality the possess. Although ablove all that, Inter lacks unity and true sense of togetherness on the pitch. The proof is in Lazio and Atlanta and the way they have worked hard this season, they had hiccups but came back from it and finishing strong. We took Lazio's strongest player last season in Canderva and Atalanta are a squad filled with players a fraction of the cost Inter paid of some our current crop but Atalanta play like a team.
My guess is something must have happened after the Genoa game, it was a bold move to sub Icardi and the aftermath must have been Pioli lashing out on the team, perhaps didn't go down so well... I'm mostly curious to see Saba in the team and what he has to bring, a shrewd director with many years experience in Serie A, has done really well for Roma and some of the players brought in to their at a affordable price and good return is evident by their depth in squad, albeit they're not world stars but a few of them stand head and shoulders above some of Inter current crop... eitherway, a season outside europe could allow the team to trim down it's squad size and with the funds I've read about give the incoming coach a chance to get a squad to their liking...
a complete mental blockage, inter gave the game away, Genoa really walked away from that with Inter giving them the win, they played with such fear and looked under pressure for a team with nothing to lose, Gigla looked under pair but so did Peri which says a lot about the form the team is in... i don't think talks should be about if players should or can deliver for the team but about if they can't, and if they can't than keep those players that can and gamble on new players that could and can deliver for the team
Inter can't seem to win if Icardi and Perisic aren't playing well. We don't have a team, just a group of guys put on a field together.
Had Inter won their last 5 games, they would've been level with Napoli on points by now but with Juve winning another Scudetto and Napoli with Roma plenty happy to occupy top 3, you'd wonder what type of work do Inter have to do to challenge Juve for the title when they can't even break into top 3? at this point of the season it's is over but you'd hope for a turn around as Chelsea did after their disaster campaign in the previous season while they had all the pieces there to succeed and added just the right players, City has completely fumbled it but I do rate highly Sane of City, they didn't get their other players right...
City is an ageing team. Pep can't fix everything in one season. its going to take sometime. We have shown potential but the back-line has cost us plenty of points this season.

As for Inter. Pioli needs to get some funding and get his players for the next season. Spend a good pre-season with them because I do trust Pioli and he looks so done and embarrassed with our current crop of stars. Won't be surprised if a whole lot are sold this summer.
Just read Gabigol and Joao are on the market! Inter really do struggle with players they've bought from Portugal, can't remember the last player that did well at Inter from that league, only the likes of Guarin and Quaresma... but in all honesty, I'd taken Kova and Coutinho for the price they shelled out for those two... the team does look disjointed and all the work they've been doing to mend this situation clearly hasn't worked, they should be asking themselves why that is and also what lead to this situation? at least they have all of next season to sort that out, Juve got relegated to Serie B! and sorted their act out enough to be crowned champions in numerous of times by now whilst Inter are still at 'building phase'... even Juan Jesus said, the only change he has seen at Inter were players coming and going... no amount of ritiro will be able to fix that, if the club is in constant fluxation
Its a difficult situation but the board hasn't exactly helped. Since Mou, the team has had a revolving door with managers coming and going. Every manager will want his type of players which leads to a constant change in players. Their is no chemistry at all after all these years.

Right now Inter have Pioli and he seems to have an idea of what his doing but his struggling trying to get the best out of the players as team. Its clear he needs more time with the boys but also other players that suit his style. Ausi can't just go and spend a s**t ton, need to spend wisely based on what Pioli needs. Gabigol and Joao cost at least 70mil together, ridiculous.
Are Inter deliberately trying to avoid a european spot? Man U are struggling in the BPL but Mou has been smart to use it as a platform to build the teams confidence and gain experience but Inter almost doing everything wrong or maybe right to avoid that 6th spot! Couldn't watch the game but the highlights and it looked like a mess with the goals scored by both teams, at least Sousa is having a better luck with his team now than Inter having with Pioli and I remember the pressure Sousa went through as at one point he was up for the Roma bench with the impact he has had at Viola! at least it's only 5 wks left of this season, Pioli and Ausi's heads will be on the chopping board as they will have to deliver in the market and in the league next season and not only until November-December and than have a complete meltdown as they normally do...
What an embarrassing game. Leading the game and then the players choked hard. Pioli is working best with what his got, the board need to realize that half the team need to sorted this summer. I'm so sick of the way they team finishes every season. I was hoping for EL place for next season but even that is looking like a stretch now. No words.
Bernardo Silva or J. Rodriguez? hard to pick one of them, Bernardo looks like a beast when he is up to speed with the ball but is no Hazard and his shooting leaves a lot to desire, rather Rodriguez comes close but he looks overweight and out of shape in Real, what is it with players becoming fat in Real? Ozil had the same criticism and Cassano is famous for it... the only downside with them is that they can't defend for what it's all worth but my money is on that Rodriguez would be able to grab more goals and just about wins on that front, it wouldn't be fair to judge him this season with his lack of games and Bernardo would do exceptionally well in any countering but is too dependent on those around him...
James is a beast. I can see him replacing Persic but what he doesn't have is his work-rate. James is a flair player, wants to be the center piece and when his in form, his so dangerous. At Madrid he was a good his first season but now lacks desire, just warms the bench and takes a backseat to the rest of the stars, even his bench partner Isco has surpassed him.

If we are going to spend big money. I want Bernardeschi. He will cost a fortune, is Italian and the club I think would mean more to him. I want James as well but it would be doubtful tbh. I want Lanzini of West Ham, his so underrated. He needs to play for a better team, could play anywhere across the attacking side and when supporting with a good cast, his could make a gem of a player. Still only 24 years old as well.
There are abundant wingers in the BPL that are underrated, Siggurdson is one of those I like, I also always enjoy watching Mirallas, Lanzini might be good but he is no Di Maria, Bernad would be pure gold, hasn't yet played for a big team, Viola are big in their own right but the power houses of Milan clubs and Juve are still the major brands, also Viola still have Chiesa so they won't be that desperat to keep hold of him, might ask for a substantial sum but he has all the tools to carve out a space for himself in this team, much of it will depend on how he adapts and if he can handle the pressure of being at a club like Inter whilst delivering week in week out... It should make for an interesting summer, Ausi just signed a new contract, read contrasting reports about Inters FFP but if they're cleared wouldn't mind seeing a Man City transformation at Inter...
I'll still take Lanzini. His been playing terrific football despite the crap West Ham are going through. I think Inter still lack creative players on the ball, if a player like Lanzini came in, he would complement the likes of Bernandeschi on the right wing, as Lanzini could play in the n10.

Ausi and Pioli need to nail their signings this summer. Inter can't just keep signing players on big money, (Barbosa and Joao) and really not amount to much.
It's very disappointing losing 2 points as it happened today. But I do believe we didn't approach the match in the right way in the 2nd half, we should've continued playing as we did in the first and I also saw no reason to park the bus. We had the match under control and had a few chances to clinch the victory with a third goal...I seriously didn't get why Pioli changed the tactics with those subs..He subbed our best players today and since then we got totally harmless. I like our coach but today he did more than one mistake imho...

Ratings:

Handanovic 6,5 (would've been 7 if it wasnt for that last-min error)
D'Ambrosio 6
Miranda 6.5
Medel 5.5
Nagatomo 6.5
Kondogbia 6.5
Gagliardini 6.5
Joao Mario 7
Perisic 7 (would've been 8 if he scored that goal..but apparently this is his main limitation)
Candreva 7
Icardi 6.5

Eder 6
Biabiany 5.5
Murillo 5.5

Pioli 5

Didn't see much of Peri but considering he was popping up alongside Nago, he was doing more than I gave him credit and also set up Icardi's goal, however he still missed two chances!? Peri off the field really shifted the game for them and it didn't help Eder was basically doing what Icardi has been doing all night, whilst Candreva was running on empty fumes and Joao is a curious player, he did better defending when he was attacking and lacked when given a role in Inters own half... you could put it down to depth but Milan was lackluster, their defence was frail and it clearly showed why when Inter let go off the pedal and shifted a gear down and allowed their attacking players more room to play... still with 2-1 scoreline, it wouldn't cover this teams short comings, as they lost against Roma and Juve in the second part of the season, I'm not even gonna mention Napoli and predict the scoreline as they're flying now in Serie A, even with a win, the table tells another story...
Theirs a reason why Mourinho wants Peri, his a hard working team player his only fault is his finishing. I could see the team slowing down in the second half but taking Peri off really changes the game, it's a damn shame because I expected a strong Milan side but they were weak, we should have walked away with the win. Another fall in the second half has been the story of the season.

At least it highlighted the team needs a LB and it can do without Candreva but not Peri, I at least hope Peri is sold for a huge sum or atleast include Darmian in that deal, much like the Zlatan deal with Eto'o... and Inter replace Candreva and him with Berna and Berardi, as for the midfield another DM to compliment Banega-Gagli would be a welcome addition...
I'm sure Peri will be sold for a big some. He had a good Euro 2016 and his had a good season at Inter, crazy that we got him for 20mil, I see him getting sold in the 45-50mil region.

The boys need a full summer with Pioli, a good pre-season (how many awful preseason Inter have had) and time to get these boys in tip top shape. Inter must do better next season as their will be no excuses.

As for transfers. A host of players could be heading out. Kondo is wanted, Brozo is probably gone, Nagatomo and Santon are gone as well. Palacio is gone and Perisic will be sold. I'm unsure about Gabigol because his seems restless and could just walk as Pioli doesn't seem much interested in him.

I would say Darmian LB, Krych DM, Bernardeschi (RW, SS, AM), Samir Santons (CB), Schick (ST) and possibly add another young MF, I wouldn't mind trying to steal away Stefano Sensi from Sassu.
All in all I liked Perisic. He set up Icardi's goal, troubled Calabria for the whole game and constantly helped Nagatomo when Milan were attacking on that side.

I only remember one chance wasted by him but I might be wrong. I do believe we lost when Pioli decided to park the bus subbing Joao Mario with Murillo
After watching cl football tonight, reminds me just how much Inter would struggle in just quartes, I have to hand it to Pioli, don't know if it was thanks to the De Boer work with them that he benefited from the players being in good shape or Mancini not working with the players enough to allow them to get a boost during Pioli's era, eitherway, players like D'Ambro, Mira, Icardi, Peri and Gagli are responding well to his training methods as they look in shape during the match... with Kondo and Brozo gone, it will leave that midfield empty, even the bench depleted if those other players you've mentioned do leave on the other hand, with the sum I've read that Suning are willing to invest, getting the right type of players on the cheap and getting the best out of them whilst building a solid first 11, could be a challenge but what this team needs to get an identity... Milan will also invest, Juve already having a solid team to work with, Roma with a new director and arguably the second best team in Serie A and Napoli having a young squad with huge potential, you'd hope the team doesn't spend 75 mil again as they did with Gabigola and Joao and nothing to show for it...
Any impression?

Man football is changing, this is going to be the first time ever I am going to watch a derby at midday. I guess it has something to do with the fact both teams now belong to Chinese managements who want the match be broadcast in China.

Anyway I think it's going to be an even match, I don't see some of our players in shape but they know they have to recover if they wanna be confirmed for the coming season.

As far as I understood, this should be our line-up:

Handanovic
D'Ambrosio
Medel
Miranda
Ansaldi
Gagliardini
Kondogbia
Banega
Candreva
Icardi
Perisic
