What a finish! Icardi with the game winning goal and a brilliant cross by Vecino. Milan was strong and held things together but neither side really created too many goal-scoring chances for their strikers. We lost the momentum when Peri and Nain went off the pitch. Although gotta say Brozo and Vecino worked like hell when Nain went off. Also, De Vrij is a beast of a player, can't believe we got him for free. K.Asamoah was shockingly poor today. Nevertheless, a win is all that matters.

Nain will be out for quite a while I hear, Peri went off injured. Hard to believe either will feature in the Barca game three days from now. Still hoping for a victory or draw.
That's Suso, Calha and Higuain put to the side, a solid performance from the defence, yeah Asamoah was tripping himself over the ball and was at times caught on the ball in the defensive phase... next up are Dembele, Coutinho and Suarez, I'll be keeping a close eye on Skriniar and how well Icardi will do against a shaky defence such as Barca's, in midfield Rakitic will be the main threat, I honestly would love to see Candreva start ahead of Politano and have Peri and Candreva concentrate on the defensive part...
The Derby is where heroes are med Vecino has already gone down as THE midfield player of Inter, however, the likes of Politano, Keita and Lauto can open up a new page in their Inter history books but I wouldn't mind Inter's big guns in the form of Icardi and Peri to flex their muscles and give the fans something to cheer about, eitherway Napoli lost to Juve and than beat Liverpool, it won't be a season changer but a huge moral booster if they win on sunday...
Its going to be interesting and a morale booster if Inter manage to win. Milan won't be easy, their MF is a unit and Higuain is out to prove himself.

Its worrying indeed. Kessie, Biliga and Bonventura are tough players in MF. Borja might or might not start but wish Vecino was not injured. Gagli has been poor when given the chance and him Brozo just aren't working very well together. Going to be interesting to see, the key will be our MF.

Don't you love how Inter are consistently inconsistent? Pazza Inter! glad to see Icardi on the scoresheet again, as his goals will give the team some breathing space but a bit worriesome when Spal had so many chances, Inter showing defensive vulnerability and it doesn't help that they'll be facing a certain Suso, free scoring Higuain and creative Bona along with Cal and Kessie...
The Milan game will be a huge test, Inter just didn't look strong enough defensively today.

Miranda is not good enough at this time. De Vrij needs to start. Sime looked decent after coming back from injury. Although got to give credit to Nain, he works his socks off defensively. Keita can't seem to catch a break, constantly struggles to impose himself in the game. Hopefully Brozo will be back for the Milan game.
Keita has only one thing in his mind at that is running towards the goal with ball at his feet, he reminds me a bit of Peri, only difference is that Peri is comfortable with playing a bit down in central midfield whereas he might sometimes get too comfortable playing outwide and end up getting isolated and even worse for defenders to isolate Icardi from him... perhpas if Keita learns how to stretch defenders and play the ball with his backtowards the goal and use his pace and strength to switch it up and turn on defenders to make a run at goal rather than being very predictable everytime he gets the ball... he is almost similar to Sterling but you can see how much Sterling has improved under Guard this season and last one...
Huge game today!
And we won. Not bad, not bad at all. The next one will be super tough. Not sure we can beat Barca in any way or forms, but I think we can stop them by playing deep and count on counters.
Very, very, very fortunate! Inter showed PSV too much respect, you could see why Barca put 4 goals past them as Inter were creating chances but failed to capitalise on them, they lacked that ruthlessness but Icardi pulled one out of the bag with his strength and awareness to score tha second goal... Vecino and Asamoh had a good game and I'm starting to see why De Vrij was rated so highly and even scouted by Juve at one point, he really is excellent with ball at his feet and the way he starts play from the back, wouldn't surprise me if one of the bigger teams in europe comes in for him much sooner rather than for Skrini... Brozo and D'Ambro looked tired and drained on energy, they got caught out one too many times and couldn't cope with the speed of their opponents

First up is Spal and if I know Inter it'll be a loss and after that it's the derby with Milan getting in gear and the likes of Kessie and Biglia looking better after which they'll visit Camp Nou, so Inter will have sharpen their teeth and get ready to raise the intensity because they lacked ruthlessness infront of goal and allowed PSV to bully them too much so that they lost 50/50 duals and missplaced loads of passes...

also I can see why the wingers of PSV has been getting praise but Bergwijn stuck out for him and if Lozano could be transformed into a wingback, he could be star player in that position!
Funny that Brzo and D'Ambro struggled considering both have been our most consistent players this season so far. They could just be really exhausted idk but I know they will bounce back.
We need more players to rotate. What will happen if Brozo and Vecino get injured ?? We literally have no one to replace them. What happened to Vrsaljko ? How long we need to wait until he got back to his feet?
What is obvious to me is that we are gonna struggle big after Christmas. No way we can play all season long like we these players.
We still have Gagli and even Nain can do a job in CM as he works really hard defensively for Inter with Lautaro or Borja playing in the n10.

^Imagine if we could keep Rafinha who is rotting on Barca's bnch and Cancelo. We would be so damn good.
Damn shame, both those guys had so much potential. Wanted to keep them. We would not have signed Nain or Sime Vsrj.

How did Inter spent 74mil combined to sign Joao Mario and Barbosa. One can't make the 18 and the other is back home in Brazil.
That's called bad business. When you sign a player that no one even wants to have.
Horrible performance once again. We are struggling big and I don't see us getting better than 7th or 8th this season.
I wasn't expecting an amazing performance. This team is still shaky but 3 wins from the last 3 games, not bad. A decent turnaround.

Super happy to see Borja play. Without Borja this team struggles to get the ball into oppositions box at times, all Borja needs is a single smooth pass and the tram can transntion into the attack more fluidity. To bad we didn't finish our chances as we had a chance on goal time and time again. We were without Icardi, so I was interested to see how Lautaro would preform and honestly, he did pretty well, constantly got into good positions. Even Politano looked good, he was determined to score a goal which is what is needed. We need more goals from the wide players. Also, surprisingly, Dalbert played his best game in an Inter shirt, he was decent in defense but was putting in some good crosses and that gave Peri the chance to starting playing down the middle when he came on. Nain wasn't prefect, he lost the ball a few times but was working hard in defense for the time, his pass to Canderva was superb, should have finished it.

Gagli had a bad game, once Brozo came on, the MF looked so much better. Miranda looked slow and struggled, gave away too many freekicks. De Vrij looked strong as hell out there, shame him and Skin play on the same side, would love to see both start together, wonder when Spa will do it because Miranda needs to be benched.
Epic Brozo, easily man of the match, even though he looked tired in the second half, he kept on pressing and lasted longer than Nain and offered more going forward than Vecino, he even recovered the ball well at times, not to mention his distribution of the ball in the second half was a beauty to watch... Icardi also did well and sniffed around the goal tonight per usual, he had two great chances with his headers but is still lacking that last one or two steps that'll allow him to leave his markers and set himself up well for a goal... Miranda and Keita were below pair and Candreva was cutting a frustrating figure, he did well by putting in a shift and did much better in the defensive phase than Keita or Politano but goals and assists are hard for him to come by and much of Inters momentum ended with him not creating a scoring chance or setting up one for his teammates... Skriniar and Asamoah had a solid game as they looked sharp and had the right amount of tenacity and focus... overall a good defensive performance but the game looked as it did against Parma and Quag was the danger man, as he could've scored a Dimarco goal towards the end, that's why Inter need to put away their chances because no matter how well you play at the back, you'll always risk letting in a goal but encouraging to see the team atleast play well enough in defense and dictate the game in large spells, just too bad it can't take advantage of their superiority...
Brozo earned that goal. What a game by him. Honestly would have felt so angry if we didn't win, I was so worried Quag would pull off one of those wonder goals he does from time to time. Never seen Spa celebrate like that.

Miranda needs to be benched. His been poor for a while, De Vrij should be starting next to Skin as his performances where not bad at all. The right side has been a problem, I really thought we would get more goals from Keita or even Politano but their struggling to find their feet so far. Hoping they can give us more in the upcoming games. Going forward. Would like to see Gagli more often. I want to see him and Brozo in MF together again. Give it another chance.

I would like to see us use a winger-less formation. Were not really getting goals from our wide players and considering how good Asamoah looks on the left side and Canderva's work rate, place both at wing-back formation..

-----------Icardi---------------
-------Peri-----Nain/Lauro---------
-Kwa----Brozo---Vecino/Gagl----Canderva
-------De Vrij--Skin---D'Ambro-------
---------------Handa----------------------
Okay we won, but it was probably the only game we can win this year with this performance. Here are what I learnt from the game:

I. Miranda lost his qualities and his positioning and speed is going down.
II. Skinar is not a RB and by choosing a CB to play as a RB you lose all the attacking opportunities full backs can provide.
III. Perisic is nowhere close to his quality before and during world cup. I don't mind dropping him for now and let someone else take the role.
IV. Politano might have some qualities, but he is being trusted way more than he can deliver. I would let Candreva take that role for now until Politano is ready.
So far Inters starting line ups have been miss match, some doing better than others and you can tell by whom Spa subs at half time... remember seeing Asamoah higher up the field in their first serie A game and that didn't work and against Parma, Candreva started after his sub performance against Bolo and that didn't work, seems like Spa is throwing players out on the field willy nilly without really having a set of strong first eleven and other players competing for those spots rather than just fielding a team and experimenting, ofcourse it doesn't help with injuries, wc hangovers and ffp regulations, however for now, except for De Vrij and D'Ambro the rest of the team doesn't quite look fit and in form...
We have 7 new players competing for a spot on the team. Not exactly going to be easy for Spa considering they all bring something different to the table. At this moment, Spa is trying to see his best fit but like Nera said, it doesn't help with the the hangover and injuries.

As for the Spurs match. Neither team was great but glad to have stole a vital 3 points. Spa needs to bench Miranda. His been so poor, I want to see Skin and De Vrij for now and I know Spa is a fan of Asamoah but his either a LB or LW. If not play a back 3 and stick him in LWB. I want Borja to be brought back into the starting XI. His just such a quality player and picks out some good passes. Politano has his moments but with Canderva being so and so, can we just put Keita in RW and see how he does. Also, glad to see Icardi get the goal, hopefully that can turn his season around. We so badly need his goals atm.
Last nights match was just bad. The team struggled to get the ball to Ketia or Icardi but neither one really involved themselves in the game either. Looked like we were playing with 10 men throughout the game. Brozo had a bad game and so many sloppy passes. Skin and Perisic had some great goal-scoring chances but didn't manage to score. When Spa switched to a back 3, the team looked even more like they where going to concede some goals.

Overall 1 win 4 games is not good enough. The UCL game at this point is not looking good and I can see Spurs smashing 3-4 goals past us.
Spurs are in a rot themselves, they looked plucky whereas Inter are missing goalscorers other than Icardi, Keita has been a huge let down and Politano looks like he'll soon have a heartattack, the step up in club level is really messing up his game and Nain looks heavy and overweight... as for Peri, we're aware of what he can deliver... the boys were lucky tonight, they had 1 win and it was against Bologna but Parma were quick to put their feet back on the ground... next up are samp, viola and caig before their next cl game against PSV and if this team doesn't start playing to their strength and putting away their chances it won't be long untill the derby comes and they'll have heavy set of games and almost all of them hard untill they return from their christmas break...

also glad to see Borja back on the field :), really when he is in form, gives this team a calm head with clear vision for passes on the field!
Better from Inter, a bit slow in the first half, which is weird as it was then Nain was most fit and as he got tired so did Bologna in the second half, Peri was clearly MOM for me and I hope Keita is kicking himself for those misses! defensive wise it was a solid performance except for Dzema getting a few shoots in for my comfort but the team stayed alert and uncompromisable at the back, Varsa will have to work his butt off if he is to dispose D'Ambro... if only Politano had the strength of Peri, he could become one of my favourite players at Inter!
Yeah, it was a better showing indeed. Didn't know both Icardi and Martinez picked up some slight knocks but Inter look good nonetheless. Bologna was all over the place but the defense did really well, D'Ambro certainly bounced back from last week. On the other hand, glad to see Gagliardini. Felt like I haven't seen him play for Inter in a Serie A match in a long while. Looked like he was playing with a point to prove and I think he put out a decent showing for his first match of the season. Hopefully more to come.

Glad to see how many options we have to choose from off the bench. Keita messed some great chances but hopefully its a sign that he will manage a few goals. Although I gotta love Canderva, come off the bench and scored after so long. He knows his in for a fight to prove himself. Both Keita and Politano are exciting prospects, his going to have to fight for a place.
Icardi has been no show but I can't blame him, he carried the team last year alongside Peri, Handa and Borja & Vecino 1st half and Brozo in the 2nd half of the season and if I'm not wrong all of the new signings started that match except for Varsa and Lauro and it was great of Spa to take that risk as either the new boys take the lead and don't expect too much from the previous squad to set the tone or this slump would've continued untill Icardi got his form back... as for Lauro, I'll give him also the benefit of doubt as it isn't easy coming to a new league but I can see why Simeone benched Varsa and preferred Fran, Varsa has talent but doesn't come close to D'Ambro in ruthlessness...

I enjoy Gagli's game more when he plays as the water boy, reminds me of Gattuso but more refined as Maldini in defence, he makes it look effortless but sadly nowadays people look to players like Savic and Pogba for midfield talents but the truth is every team needs a Busquet and not everyplayer DM is dynamic as Keita of Liverpool or Kante of Chelsea...

I'm glad for Candreva but it'll be hard ask to dispose of Keita and Politano, I'm still hopeful that he'll make way for Rafinah that can also play outwide...
Barca, Tottenham and PSV. LOL
LOL indeed. I knew Inter where going to draw some tough opponents. With our current form, could be out of UCL with 0 points. Although I'm going to believe where going to pick up some form.
^Easily! Everyone is still on vacation still.
Let's see what Spa has in his sleeve for these Giants. We should go for 6 pts of PSV, and 3 pts of Tottenham at home.
I'm just glad I'll be able to see Inter play in the cl again, it's not always groupe stage games are fun to watch in the cl or even sometimes the knock out stage but with your favourite team playing you can endure a horrid game and even call it a genius masterstroke of defending or playing it out to grind result... eitherway, looking forward to watching the games but if they'll progress or not I'll leave that it untill they'll mathematically out... Spurs will be my favourite to win the group as for Barca they're very adaptable and won't play twice the same type of game, let's hope Suarez isn't in form when coming up against Inter...

just looked over Inters fixture for the season and if they don't get results against PSV and Spurs in their first two games in the CL, unless other results go their way, it'll be near impossible with the matches they'll play in Serie A and their second two games against Barca and Spurs, for instance they have Milan, Barca and Lazio right after each other and then Spurs, Roma and Juve all of them being away games! before rounding it up with PSV as their last game in the group stage... they'll need atleast three wins, so they'll have to start off really well, take Spurs by surprise and really hammer PSV at their home arena, otherwise they'll be playing catch up and at most Inter will get EL and it'll be the usual reply of players and manager saying this is our first year returning back in the CL, we will do better next year...
Inter back in UCl is amazing no doubt, its been a long a** time but it will be tough. Snatching 6 points of off PSV and Spurs will be huge but PSV have surprised teams before and Spurs are so organized and I honestly think Inter will need to play their butts off to get a result against them. With the upcoming games you mentioned Spa will have his hands full but in order to accomplish anything we need to pick up our form.
